AVOID. Disrespectful and cringe staff, meh food. Please don't get fooled by the positive reviews. All the negative reviews here truly speak about the experience I had when I dined today. It feels like the waiter was trying to hard sell the food and drinks. While I was looking at the menu, he told me "you look very thirsty, you should order some drinks" - this is so unprofessional and leaves your customer feeling uncomfortable. When I was ordering my food, I think he couldn't hear me and he kept asking me to repeat and said "are you shy?" - another rude behaviour. I have never encountered such weird, rude, disrespectful service ever. Even a fast food chain has better service than they do. The price point is high and it is not justifiable. The food is salty and has an uninteresting weird combination of flavours. Please save yourself around £60pp and go somewhere else - avoid at all cost. We left the place tummy and mood unsatisfied.

Plateau is a good restaurant for a nice lunch with views outside (see photos attached to the comment), when I've been it's always been sunny but I guess it can also be nice if it's raining. It is really nicely decorated. Food is nice, good quality and very well cooked, everything is delicious (although the quality of the meat could be better). Service is also good, even though there is a waiter who isn't very kind. In general it's a good restaurant, you should go and try yourself.

Sunday lunch on mothering Sunday was a bit of a challenge, but we got a booking, so can imagine, it wasn't my friend's first choice but considering his first choice was somewhere we've been before where the food wasn't that great at the time, I was happy to come here instead, funny enough I can see the first choice restaurant from where I am sitting in the restaurant it's right in front of us. Anyway, the service is very sharp the uniform of the ladies look very lovely and floral. The only thing that we had an issue with was how long it took to take our drink orders. Also, there were a few times that we felt a little bit neglected I mean considering that we were the first people actually in the restaurant and that at that time we were virtually the only ones there. I was very happy with the food.

It is a nice restaurant, but the food was pretty dissapointing...maybe just not my taste, but not very enjoyable nonetheless. The crab and prawn ravioli starter, which looks very good on paper, was quite stodgy and didn't have much flavour, so was a bit of a let down. The sea bream and brown rice main, again looked good on paper, but the flavour of the rice (I think pickles of some sort) just didn't go well with the bream, and the side of broccoli I ordered was overdone...not crunchy at all...and I always get a side of broccoli, so I've have this in many restaurants that was much better. The dessert was probably the best thing, a creme brulee, which frankly would be hard to not be nice. Anyway, the drinks were nice, the waiter was attentive and friendly, so that made the experience a generally positive one. However for the price if the food, I expect a lot better.

The food was OK, but there were not enough options. I thought the steak was dry, the crab was bland and tasted too fishey for a crab meat. Overall, food wasn't really tasty. Cocktails were nice, decent rum (sunset beach). Lovely ambience and attentive, friendly staff. Happy Christmas. X

Lovely lunch with the family while in Canary wharf. We all had fish and scallops to start - absolutely delicious. We used to come a lot before covid and found a lot of the old team had left but we were happy to see a couple of familiar faces. Service was friendly as always and nothing was too much trouble for my daughter who has many allergies. Always happy to come back

Absolutely beautiful place, it's located on the 4th floor above Waitrose and Partners. Modern French food served at its finest. Had an amazing dinner in a very well looked after restaurant with service which cannot be faulted. You can easily find yourself relaxed and staying well over 2hrs without being rushed out the door. Be sure to try the following 2 for the mains; Hake or Guinea flow. Make sure to book if you are going during busy period.

found this place on yelp when I searched for 'romantic dinner' it was very nice and elegant, the food was great. just felt a bit overpriced for the overall experience. maybe if it was 10 or 20% cheaper it would have been perfect.

You'll find this restaurant in the building opposite to The Ivy. It's on the 4th floor above Waitrose.. Take the lift.

The service was excellent - staff members were very polite and professional. We sat at the terrace with lovely atmosphere . The food options were limited - Hake dish was excellent but sirloin wasn't the best quality.

Amazing service, friendly staff and lovely venue. We went there for Wedding breakfast showcase. The venue was beautifully decorated and very spacious. You can leave your coat in the cloak room. The staff gave us many options for a lovely breakfast. Also options of meeting vendors and tasting local cuisine. The Venue is full of natural light, very ideal for small weddings.

Just wow. We enjoyed a stunning brunch on Saturday at Plateau. We avoided the hustle and bustle of Saturday street level and had a sublime brunch that was easily of Michelin star quality. Flavours, presentation, attentiveness, surroundings were all top notch. We had the Rosé Brunch Menu with Maison Mirabeau. We chose the Salmon / Burrata starters, and the Chicken / Lamb main courses. The accompanying free-flowing still and sparkling wines were good and complimented the dishes nicely. This was really stunning value considering the quality, a lovely overall experience. The staff looked after us well, they were attentive and helpful but not obtrusive. I have not visited Plateau for a while, but I will certainly be back much sooner! P.S. We paid for our brunch, this isn't a discounted or paid-for review, despite the gushing!

We had a great experience at the Restaurant. The place is very stylish and beautiful view. The service was fantastic, the receptionist were very smiling and friendly, the waiter was very attentive and he made sure we had everything we needed and even the manager Ollie come over to introduce herself and to make sure that was everything good. The food presentations was perfect and it was very tasty as well. The brunch menu was really a good price. Definitely a place to visit agan.

Worst things first: I think the service could have been a bit better as the waiters weren't so attentive. It was quite difficult to get their attention. Also I asked for lukewarm water as my wife was ill and we were still served chilled water. I asked for the bill to come with the card reader as we were in a rush and the bill still came alone and we had to ask for the card reader again. Other than this the ambience is really really nice. You get a nice view of Canary wharf and although the pillars block the view a bit, I guess those are required to hold the building up haha so it is what it is. Really nice view which every table can appreciate, beautiful interior design - my wife referred to it as having a homely feel. I would definitely come back during the day as Im sure it would like marvellous with the sun coming through the full length windows - how much better at sunset!! The food was exquisite too. I had eaten beforehand so didn't eat much: just squid rings and the bread selections. Its small but it goes a long way when restaurants heat up the butter so its soft and spreadable on nice warm and soft bread. The squid rings were good too, not too rubbery like many are these days. My wife had a bit more: the cod on mash with caviar (or just roe, not sure) and fries. The fries were so so nice, perfectly salted and fried. The cod and mash was DIVINEEE. Every bite that I stole from her was eye-shut inducing. Perfectly cooked cod that tasted like it came from the sea that very morning, one of the creamiest mashed potatoes I've had in a while and then the caviar/roe to add a certain texture to the after taste. Superb. Excellent restaurant, would definitely recommend - and not too bad a price as well considering the high-class interior and prime location in Canary Wharf.

We had dinner for my husband’s birthday. Had the table at the window which made the evening super nice. The service was great and the food was just perfect, we both had lamb and I have no words to describe how tasty it was which I highly recommend!

Beautiful restaurant, the food was delicious. I felt like i was in Paris for a day. The creme brulee was more than perfect. I'll definitely visit again. Just a lil dissapointed with toilet probably was a busy day.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening with great food, wine and atmosphere. Apart from a slight delay in getting service by the waiter, we both ordered and was not disappointed with our selection of Seaweed cured salmon starter, Pumpkin Gnocchetti & Slow braised beef cheek main and cheese cake to share to finish. All were perfectly portioned and were just delectable. We'll definitely be dining here again.
