I am always up for healthy and light meals, specially if it is at an elegant place, with a nice live music in the background - coming from the center area of The Ned - and that was my feeling with Malibu Kitchen. A lot of Vegan and Vegetarian options, salads, fresh food, good drinks.

I have come here a few times before for breakfast or brunch. I came today after a while and my experience was still very nice. One of the many restaurants located in the The Ned. Malibu Kitchen is hidden at the back and quite small, but has a lovely atmosphere. I normally make a booking but walked in today and it was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon which was likely to be because of the weather being warm so everyone was outside! I enjoyed the peace and nice atmosphere. Lovely menu. Not huge but more than a sufficient choice for brunch including eggs, pancakes, taco, poke, juices, smoothies and more. I had the egg white omelette with basil, chive and tarragon. This was really good. Freshly made, well presented, fluffy and healthy! A nice light breakfast. To drink, I had one of the smoothies which was lovely. I will say, portion sizes for some dishes can be small. This was fine for me as I am a tiny eater. Others may find that they want more. Malibu Kitchen is a good place if you want something light and reasonably healthy. Don't expect as another reviewer commented and I agree, food that will blow you away. This is more good food, a safe option. As the name of the restaurant suggests, think California! Lovely atmosphere and on Saturday there is usually live light jazz type music that starts around noon which is great. You can't see the music stage from Malibu Kitchen but you can hear the music. Some of the other restaurants in The Ned have a good view of the stage if you want to be closer to the music. Restaurant is very clean. Malibu Kitchen is more cozy and has a brasserie type feel. You don't need to dress up so much but look neat. Service is good. Staff are pleasant. Small negative is that they can be a little too attentive. It would be nice just to be left to relax. Food comes out quickly once you order. They display calories as well which is helpful. Not too badly priced given location and venue. Would definitely recommend. I would suggest booking as well.

I was taken here for my birthday brunch and this definitely hit the spot. This brunch is like no other. It had osyters, lobster, salads, Sunday roasts, etc. The list was endless. They have a huge Sunday buffet and also have a range of pizza and pasta for orders. The food is always replenished fresh and you are allow to help yourself as many times as your belly will allow. The desserts are a show stopper so please do leave plenty of room. A very busy place so book in advance and make sure you do not eat anything before.

Had a really great brunch here, the Crab Burrito was top notch and not something you see elsewhere. Portion sizes were filling, and service was attentive. Prices are as expected for the area and being inside a hotel.

Really fantastic brunch with fresh-tasting feel for both food/drinks. As a coffee lover, their coffee is absolutely wonderful, so do recommend. The menu is limited and a bit pricey, but still a worthwhile meal. The restaurant is within the Ned, so you may catch some live music in the centre as you eat - do take a look around the ground floor!

Booked Malibu Kitchen for my partner's birthday breakfast. It is located in The Ned which is a wonderful hotel in the City of London. Malibu Kitchen occupies a small space on the ground floor. It is a cosy and intimate space where you can catch up with a friend or colleague and a great place to go with your partner. We enjoyed a tasty and healthy breakfast. I would recommend that you check this place out.

Great place for a healthy lunch with variety of salads, raw food as well as cured fish. Nice to visit the NED and enjoy the buzz in the City on a Sunday. Love the cosy booths for 2 and the beautiful plates of fresh, vibrant food! Went for a brunch and shared the Avocado dip, with Taro crisps and vegetable crudities as a starter. Followed by a naughty tasty Cheeseburger, made with grass-fed beef in a potato bun with fries. My guest had the “Brick” chicken, grape, tomato, spicy yogurt, basil which was spicy and filling. Finished with a delicious Raw Chocolate cake which was an avocado and chocolate cake on a base of dates with raspberry sauce.

Stopped by chance for breakfast and we’re not disappointed! Cosy, little intimate cafe set within the lobby of the Ned. Food was fantastic quality - we’d recommend the Malibu omelette. Some interesting alternative lattes on offer too, the beetroot cacao latte was inspired.

We had the crab burrito, egg quesadilla and sea beam tacos. The crab burrito had a really good portion is crab for 22 pounds. The egg quesadilla was the perfect scrambled eggs with a slight crunch and went well with the dips. The guac was well seasoned. The sea beam taco had such a good chilli relish, sweet with a ting of spice. Really loved the ambience with good lighting. Loved the sweet potatoes fries

I mean, it’s the Ned, so if you’ve never been you might be enamoured by the grand scale of things. Regrading this particular space, the experience left much to be desired. Decisively overpriced, there’s nothing noteworthy in the form or substance of the menu. It’s cafe food wrapped in soho-house design. There was nothing offensive about the food itself, just uninspired and overpriced. Service was below average for ‘The Ned’. Other areas of the venue might be still worth exploring, but give this corner a miss.

Very beautiful and charming place. Jazz ambiance lovely. The staff is kind and at your service. Food is very tasty. Price range 20-30$.

Great diversity of menu, including plenty of vegetarian options. There is usually live jazz band in the open space in the evening. Really like this place!

Delicious food, very well presented. Lovely Ned vibes. Only downside was the service - our waiter was a little moody.. no smiles.. and felt like we were a bit rushed.

Came here for brunch with a couple of girlfriends. The food is very average for the price you’re paying. You’re honestly just paying for the atmosphere. We were most disappointed that all the waitresses were rushing us out of the restaurant as soon as we finished our food and coffees. They weren’t rude, but we felt we couldn’t enjoy our conversations as we were continually interrupted by staff so we left quickly to go elsewhere. Definitely won’t be returning.

Really lovely healthy and fresh tasting food. Good for work lunches. I went on my birthday and they also gave me a cake to go with it.

Took the burger and sweet potato fries. It was really good. The burger sauce was delicious. And hot chocolate, was really good but wish it was hotter.

Had a lovely lunch at Malibu Kitchen. Quite a small venue, but impressively presented, tasty, and healthy food options. Lots of vegetarian options too. Good service.

Friendly staff, quick service. Great healthy and low carb/high protein options. The turmeric pancakes are quite sweet so I would suggest asking for the syrup on the side rather than on top.

I had a very tasty breakfast here, the service was ok though. Our orders were taken in a nice amount of time, but no one checked in on us at any point to see if we wanted anything else after the first order was taken. We had to chase someone down to get the bill, despite being here during the week and it not being overly busy. If you’re not so bothered about this, then I would recommend this place certainly for the kimchi benedict.

It is inside The Ned. The ambience was superb with live jazz band. And food preparation was very light and full of salads. Simple preparations and looked quite healthy. I had a Mango Coconut cheesecake for dessert, very well prepared and looked quite great too with the toppings of Coconut flakes, Mango pieces and Kiwi. Overall 'The Ned' is a must visit. Had a great time.

Awesome location. Because we were 7 we were forced the sharing menu for 45£ each. Hit or miss dishes.good desserts. No complaints with the service, they did a foot job.

Tasty food and cosy place are the two things that can describe this place among others. Visited on a Sunday and had a good time.

Great experience for all the 5 senses! The colors the options and taste were just delicious ! I’d 100% recommend! For £25 there’s an all you can eat buffet with hot and cold options and dessert. Will come back!

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food (the fish tacos are amazing) and lovely staff. Quite pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.

Beautiful building but the food was not remarkable. Juice was premade in plastic bottles with a month long expiration period. I would give the juice 3/10; açaí bowl 3/10. No flavor or balance. High prices.

Malibu Kitchen at the Ned was pretty amazing. Creative salads and grass fed beef. Good quality healthy food. Definitely a good choice for a light lunch.

Nice healthy options and no frills food. Decent wine selection and good cocktails and fresh natural drinks. Service was great and the ambiance at the Ned, especially on Thursdays, is always on point. The portions are also good for the price - you can eat well without breaking the bank. The only star down is that although they had Asian things on the menu (poke bowl, Japanese veg and salad dishes) they didn't have any chopsticks. It felt wrong to eat a raw salmon poke bowl with a fork. Other than that - would go again if I want a healthy menu in the City!

I’ve been having breakfast here multiple times. Lovely place with some different healthy options. The food is always cooked perfectly and the coffee with almond milk is just delicious.

The setting is undeniably amazing. We had brunch, the menu had plenty of variety although the drinks menu was more interesting. The fish in the tacos was a little lacking in execution but other than that the food was good.

Went there for late lunch on a Sunday. The place is nice and crowded. It is part of a hotel called NED and is one of the several restaurants you have there. It is a sharing concept and you can easily do with 2 to 3 plates per person. I recommend the pancakes as they are a real highlight, the sea bream tacos that are quite nice and the granola.
