Can't really believe I paid £25 for some undercooked pasta... I've cooked tesco spinach and ricotta pasta better than this. It was also very busy and crammed in with the obvious focus being on shoving as many people in to make as much money as possible rather than a pleasant and 'special' experience for the diners, which, given the exorbitant prices I believe to be grossly unfair. I also felt the waiters were very overbearing which may just be a norm for these kinds of places but personally didn't like - it was as though they were trying to prove that they did indeed deserve their ridiculously high service charge but it just seemed forced and fake instead. Admittedly I don't normally eat out at places like this so maybe this is what rich people love (?!) but this has certainly put me off going to 'high caliber' restaurants entirely as I felt very uncomfortable the whole time and genuinely upset to have to pay such an insane price for an experience that I thoroughly disliked.

It’s a beautiful restaurant, and the food tastes good. The presentation of the food can be better. However the waitress who served us is extremely unprofessional. She even rolled her eyes and showed impatient attitude when my friend ask her if she can change a folk because it’s not clean. The manager is good and apologized but would not recommend for this service.

If you want to feel special you should go to Daphne’s. The atmosphere, the elegance combined with traditional and the welcoming staff attracts me inside even though I was not hungry. The reception staff are very welcoming and accommodating and I managed to get a table in between the reservations. I was advised about the menu and about the wines which helped me to choose and enjoy a delicious dinner. I moved at the bar after the dinner to finish my glass of wine and the bar tender was very attentive too. Even that the place was full and every one was talking, laughing , eating and drinking, the place gives you that inside feeling of calm and happiness. It’s like you stepped into a different world where everything combines perfectly… ahh and the olive oil delicious. I never felt so good having dinner alone. Thank you.

Happened to stumble upon a Saturday lunch reservation. Jumped at the opportunity. The food was truly delicious. The scallops were tender, and the pastas were seasoned perfectly. I could not pick a favourite pasta. Each one stood out to me in it's own way. The lobster pasta also had a lot of meat in it which I was happy about. I felt like I was getting my moneys worth. The interior is beautiful and well thought out. If you're lucky you can be seated in a room with stained mirrors either side which give it a much more open feel. Service was awesome too. It's pricey for pasta but I think if you can get a reservation for a special occasion its definitely worth it.

This is a great Italian restaurant in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea. It’s perfect for a special occasion. The service was phenomenally good. As in finish your drink and be offered a top up within seconds, if it hasn’t been offered already. The food was all delicious. I would have preferred for my lamb to be slightly less done, but all in all it was still a great meal.

Enjoyed dinner at Daphne's restaurant. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious. We had carpaccio and burrata as a starter& rigatoni, mushroom risotto, veal Milanese, fried zucchini with Lemon as a main. Everything was beautifully presented and yummy. Would definitely recommend for special occasions.

Beautiful restaurant. I tried the burrata to start with and my friends got the carpaccio. Burrata was nice, but would’ve been nicer with a bit more of that bread. Tried the risotto for mains, and it was a bit different to what I was expecting (as I usually go for mushroom risottos), but was delicious nonetheless and I’d recommend ordering the large plate as the small may be too small. My friends ordered the linguine with crab (small), spaghetti with lobster (small) and spaghetti with crab (large). They all liked what they ate, though haven’t tried them myself, I can’t vouch for them. We ordered zucchini fritters as a side dish and it was delicious!!!! I’ve never had them before (surprisingly), and I regret that! 2 complaints: found a tiny spider in my friend’s rosé (don’t know whether they brought it to us like that or if it fell from the ceiling above while it was on the table - we were sat indoors). Second, it is difficult to get the staff’s attention to the table.

Enjoyed a delicious meal where the service was really good despite it being very busy. We enjoyed the tiger prawns and the scallops for starters. For mains we enjoyed sea bass and finished it with a lovely vanilla cheesecake with strawberries and mint. I will be returning that is for sure.

Great food and very professional but welcoming staff. Pasta was great and the large size means you sint leave hungry.

Had a delicious meal with starters prawns with chilli and garlic and salmon carpaccio, main was spaghetti with crab and chilli and dessert was a peach stafagllione.. All absolutely amazing! Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was lively.. Highly recommend it.. Will definitely come again and try different dishes.

Incredible atmosphere with beautiful Christmas decorations. Super cozy spot and great with friends or for a date night. The food on the other hand was subpar. The olive oil with the breadbasket and the tiramisu were the highlight of the meal. The service was also subpar, the waiters didn’t seem happy to help. Not sure I’d return cause price not justified for the food or service.

What a beautiful place and what was these fried zucchini!!! Omg the best that I have ever tasted! I’m a big fan and I have to say that was the best ones! Anyway the food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly! I will visit for sure this place again!

so because of instagram we said we will be going in to see the amazing decco, well it was nice at the bar and normal at the tables , i thought it was too expensice meatballs and potatoes 24 pounds, i honestly dont know what the hype is about! the waiters are amazing food is also okay 15 pounds a glass of wine and 24 for meatballs , it is really all okay just not worth it for me! was very dissapointed! if u like fish then u might be in luck because most was fish! ( that i dont eat so my problem) just think the hype in insta is too big! was a dissapointment!

Eating at Daphne’s is always a memorable occasion. We have enjoyed everything that we have ordered thus far. We definitely recommend the Spaghetti all’ Astice and the Ravioli di Mozzarella for the mains. And definitely end the meal with the best tiramisu in London.

Celebrated our anniversary here — Authentic Italian without question. Gamberoni king prawns was a delicious first palette starter; pasta was cooked perfectly Al denté, crab linguine had a lovely balance with spices and herbs, not overpowering in taste. Homemade tiramisu is a must-try.

Great lunch and we spent over 4 hours enjoying the afternoon here. Had lobster spaghetti and a couple starters. Well cooked lobster but shame the pasta was not freshly made in house. Fried 🍤 and courgette were a bit salty. Great wine list! 😁 We will be back to try other dishes soon. Great service.

Excellent place for a fine dinning experience. Was there for our anniversary lunch and we had an enjoyable time. Would definitely recommend booking in advance and try and get a table inside by the fire!

One of my favourite restaurants in London. The staff are all extremely attentive and friendly. The design of the restaurant is superb and the service is top notch! Magnificent food and wonderful atmosphere. Recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable meal. Highly impressive!!

I've been to Daphne's a couple of times and feel that it is hit and miss. Pros: beautiful dining rooms, good starters, sides and drinks menu, one of the best tiramisu in London, stunning Christmas decor Cons: staff don't seem to know how to smile (yes, you can tell if someone is smiling even with a mask on), mains are average, food is expensiv for what it is (around £70pp for 3 courses and a drink) I feel like you can get better Italian food in London for less with nicer service. However, for an occasion, Daphne's is still a nice place to go.

We went to see the Christmas decorations and were not disappointed. The feel of the whole place is so cosy, complete with wood fire. The food was delicious, although there is not a lot of options for people who don't eat fish. Christmas cocktails were perfect, and the Tiramasu was incredible. Very friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere.

What an amazing treat. Expensive yes!! But was it worth it? Absolutely!!! We tried so many dishes, octopus appetizer was amazing. Pictures show you how well we did.

Last minutes reservation and add people but gentlemen on phone really find space for us to accommodate our reservations (thank you) And when we get there, Salvatore at bar gentleman looked after us really nicely and made our evening really special….. Food is of course great but Salvatore made our evening really better 🙏🏼highly recommended

One of the best fine dine Italian restaurants in London. I loved my prawn salad, truffle ravioli but what blew my mind was the peach sfoglia almond ice cream with honey. The ingredients were so fresh and the service was impeccable. Warm and welcoming ambience. I would highly recommend this place.

Wow! Such a beautiful restaurant 10 mins walk from Cheshire was decorated so beautifully ,three course meal with drinks was absolutely delicious, staff were so friendly and welcoming, a must to visit if in this area

Came here over Christmas and the decor was beautiful. Our waiter was Orestis who was really polite, friendly, helpful and professional. Food was average. We had the vegetarian ravioli and penne in a cream sauce. We were sat outside and inside was very packed. We went inside to take pictures but the female waitresses were extremely rude. Wouldn’t be returning or recommend to anyone.

Coming not for a first time, this is a place where you wish to come back to taste new dishes, enjoy the food till last piece, to meet the extremely caring staff and feel that peaceful atmosphere. Really nice restaurant! The interior is lovely! Extremely nice if you visit during Christmas when everything is nicely decorated. The food was delicious especially the ravioli!! Would definitely recommend it.

Mhh the food was excellent, the helpful service, the idyllic and romantic location. I enjoyed Daphne’s very much. Even with my (difficult to handle)food allergies, the service team just handled it accurately. Will come again for sure. You will find Italian food at its best modern and delicate cuisine in London.

Having dined at Daphne’s over the years I would say that on this occasion, overall, the food was good, the service was average, and the ambiance was excellent as always. On a side note, I would say that 13.5% for gratuity is a bit on the high side especially considering that the service was average. As for my choices, the spaghetti with lobster was a 5 out 5, tiramisu 5 out of five and the Veal Milanese was a 3.5 out of 5. What I would describe as a bit tasteless.

Carpaccio and pasta were delicious but not much difference between small and big pasta sizes. So definitely take into consideration when choosing 👀

The food at Daphne’s didn’t disappoint. I had the vegan option of rigatoni in a tomato, garlic and basil sauce with aubergine. It was delicious - I wish I’d gone for the larger option!

Was a really lovely vibe and the food was all delicious. Only two issues were quite a few things had run out and we were ordering at 7:45 so that was a bit annoying (crab, scallops, asparagus) and then there was a confusion with whether the roast potatoes were gluten free and they kept bringing out new ones which were “actually the gluten free ones” even though we had already been given “gluten free ones”. Super lovely staff though. Would recommend eating at the bar if in a pair.
