👍👍 Stayed at the holiday in and this is the only restaurant. Found staff very friendly happy to help, and really enjoyed the food. I had calzone 1 night with a beer with new york fries and the second night pasta and bolognese. I asked for no chilli in my calzone and all was fine no issues. Thanks f... Thanks for service I always find in strange in london, tip is as 10% tip auto applied. You can ask for taken off but its only a couple £ on a single meal. But should be asked or at least not expected only down side( discretionary service charge) But i guess its all london the same

I visited this restaurant approx 1 year ago and had a very good experience which I reviewed in a complimentary way but unfortunately a year later and on this visit I was very disappointed…and feel the quality and standards have slipped… having booked this occasion in the strength of an offer on the website i.e Friday Night Steak Night, I booked a table for two for a friends birthday, looking forward to a good steak meal + drink at a very reasonable price which suited my pocket . However when we arrived we were given the main menu and when I asked for the ‘offer’ menu, I was told by a helpful waitress and then the unhelpful manager that they don’t have that offer or the others on the website. I was disappointed to say the least and as I had brought a friend for a meal, I decided to stay rather than looking for somewhere else to dine. The food we eventually ordered was good but I’m unhappy with the misrepresentation. If offers are no longer available, they should be taken off the website immediately. I have been to many of Marco’s more prestigious restaurants and that’s what they are for many reasons. This one isn’t and with the poor attitude towards keeping customers happy when the restaurant hasn’t delivered, it never will be. I like to help the local economy but will think twice about booking again as this was a let down.

Really good restaurant that serves good quality dishes at a reasonable price. Had dinner here for 3 nights in a row during a business trip. The menu can easily give you a varied dinner for a longer stay and does so without compromising on quality.

Had better at Tesco. The nacho starter was pretty good but other than the pepsi that was it. The lasagna was average with a funky taste like the wine hadn't cooked off completely. The Mac n cheese side taste like paper and pepper. Husband had the ribs but only seemed to get half a rack. The tiramisu was tasteless cream. All in all wasn't worth the £90! Could have got it for less than £25 in a supermarket and had a better taste experience. Then to add to the insult. In the car park you're prompted to pay for parking but when you get into the restaurant a small sign says you get three hours for free. I get home to find out the parking has charged me twice!!!!! Not worth the price or aggrevation for that low quality food.

You have to pay for parking outside! Food average. Starters were limited in choice and not well cooked. Good choice of mains. Steak was overpriced and again poorly executed. Staff didn't know if 'toppings' came with the steak or were at extra cost (the latter actually) but said sauces were extra. Service was polite and friendly, but clearly not well informed. Margarita Pizza was boring and flavorless, and crust was soggy. Avoid. Not worth the money or the cost for parking.

We arrived and were quickly seated at our table, we were provided with food menus but had to ask for the drinks menu, this should come with the food menu as standard. I ordered the fried calamari to start. I suspect the frying oil was not the correct temperature, because the batter was soggy and falling off the calamari, while the calamari itself was overcooked, bouncy and rubbery. The batter would fall off the calamari when trying to dip it into the sauce. My partner had the same and disliked hers too, we would not order this again. I ordered the American burger for my main course, the burger itself was very average, nothing about it particularly blew me away but nothing was terrible either. The pickles didn't taste all that good and the wooden board it was served on could have either been bigger or swapped for a plate. Most of the shredded lettuce ended up falling out while eating. The fried served alongside the burger were sufficiently crispy but could have done with more seasoning. I ordered the knickerbocker glory for dessert, the top half was nice but I would stop around 2/3 of the way down where the raspberry flavour becomes rather overpowering. Breakfast the next day was very average, especially for a buffet. Nothing particularly stood out in my opinion and I was not left wanting to go for seconds. The sausages were extremely bland, lacking both flavour and texture. The hash brown could have done with better seasoning. Luckily breakfast was included with the room, I would not have been happy to pay for it. Most staff seemed young and inexperienced, in order to get our bill in the evening we had to get up from our table to go and ask for it. I know as a restaurant attached to a Holiday Inn I shouldn't necessarily expect an amazing dining experience, but I would have liked to believe the fact Marco Pierre White has his name on it would count for even a little uptick compared to the usual quality of restaurants these days, unfortunately not. If I were back at this hotel and had the ability to go somewhere else for food I likely would, you've got Mizu just down the road which will get you far better bang for your buck. Overall a disappointing meal magnified by high prices, poorly trained staff, and lack of attention to detail.

Whilst I was a guest in the hotel I ordered pasta al pomodoro and half a pizza each night couldn't fault either to the extent that I ordered them 3 nights in a row to be fair. Very good quality 10/10 from me restaurant has a nice atmosphere the service was very fast and the restaurant staff were both extremely efficient and very polite Keep up the good work

Mixed feelings. Half the garlic bread was burnt and the whole thing was dry, but the burger and chips were nice and cooked well. It is a little overpriced for what you get though, and the beers were very expensive! The singer, although a nice touch, was so loud that we could barely hear each other at the table. Ideal if you intend to sit in silence listening, but if you're there for a catch up, best brush up on your lip reading skills. We weren't informed when booking or being seated that it is a cashless restaurant. So having turned up with Cash, they refused to accept our money laid on the table after presenting us the bill. They informed us we needed to find a way to pay on card... In all honesty, my partner and I would not have gone knowing this is their policy and for this reason we will not be returning. Cash is still legal tender and we should not have been put in a that position.

Myself and my family had the most delicious meal at this restaurant, we could not fault the food or the service. The steak was very tasty. I would definitely recommend a night out here.

Sat here and ate as part of a large group. Expectations were high until we realised this place was just an add on to the holiday Inn where we had just been drinking. Food came out on time and was edible but not enjoyable, the portions where tiny and we were left eating haribo to satisfy our hunger after the measly portions. Stale bread, pizzas that resembled wall paper in taste and texture (yes I've eaten wall paper). I've seen more chips on the floor of a kebab shop at midnight then we got in our serving. Very poor indeed. I ate the food because, well I'd paid for it and we were very hungry. If you want more flavour just buy a sainsburys meal deal or eat the wallpaper in the restaurant.

Great stuff, nice restaurant but the quality of the steaks is not what you expect. The meat was cooked properly but the only thing I can say about the taste, is that I had better meal deals....

We regularly stay at the Holiday Inn here in Brentwood, and always eat at MP’s restaurant. We love the food, great value, and we love the atmosphere thanks to the staff who are always welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much effort. A big thank you to Titania and the team for looking after us.

We had an amazing meal this evening, the food was amazing and the staff were even better. They were so helpful and very friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. We were staying in the hotel which meant the kids got a free 3 course meal which made our evening even better. We will 100% return next time we are in the area x

I am having the pleasure of staying in the Holiday Inn hotel for a few weeks in a row now and I am very pleased with the breakfast and dining services this restaurant offers to the guests of the hotel. Its a very nice restaurant with a snug and warm ambience. Nice team of very friendly and helpful people that are always at your service. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen. And i will surely return more often.

Visited on a Wednesday night for an early dinner. The lady who served us was so kind and friendly. She chatted to us and made us feel so welcome. I didn’t manage to get her name but she had an Irish accent like my own so she was really lovely to both myself and my partner. The food was delicious and there was only a short time between course which was great. Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends.
