Nice restaurant with plenty of seating. You pay up front and then it's all you can eat. The food was OK with plenty of choice although I'm not convinced those who are gluten free or vegan are well catered for. This was my first experience of a buffet like this. I'm not sure I'm particularly comfortable about everything being 'shared'. I saw people slipping on dropped food and it felt a bit like a school canteen. However, you get what you pay for and I would probably go again.

We went on a friday evening, applied the “free birthday meal” special request and the celebrant ate for free (promo valid from bday until 7days as per website, and with 3 paying people). It was 5 of us in total. I found the Asian food tasty, personally enjoyed the duck pancakes, braised beef in soy, sweet n sour pork with white rice, hong kong noodles mixed paired with the brocolli, fried chicken with gravy, seaweed, california sushi and scallops. I also enjoyed the pizza’s, chocolate brownies, salted caramel cheesecake and fruits. There were also hot desserts such as churros and apple crumble! We paid additional for bottomless drinks. Despite some of the previous bad reviews I read online, we tried and was happy with the flavor. I appreciate the staff were all around cleaning up finished plates as much as they can. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely come back.

Cosmo was okay when we visited. We didn't book a table and had to queue up. The wait to enter was not bad as we got there in the afternoon before 2 p.m. We were on the line for less than 15 minutes. The staff were friendly and welcoming with smiles on their faces so it was worth the wait. When we eventually sat down the service was great, although we still needed them to properly clean our table which we didn't mind. You have to pay before you can start eating which I believe is reasonable, especially seeing the number of people that come into the restaurant. The payment is taken at the table. There's a variety of dishes to choose from so you'll find everything you need. If you know me I'm more inclined to favour seafood which they didn't have much of on the day we went. The pepper prawns were very popular so you had to stand at the station for them to bring out the next batch, this I learned after visiting the station 3 times. The sushi was too cold to enjoy and there weren't many varieties to choose from so I didn't try it after trying one. The other dishes available were tasty so there was something for everyone. One of the downsides was the number of plates and cutlery available. The plates kept running out and they were not stocked quickly, you had to ask one of the workers about the plates. It felt like you were an inconvenience to them. Some plates came back not being washed properly so that put you off a bit, but I brushed it off seeing how much I've paid for the food. The soft-serve ice cream 🍦 was so slow to dispense that you just gave up. There were cups of ice cream which was still good but not the best quality. The amenities were clean and great to use. I suggest that when you visit make sure to go there when you're hungry and make sure the children you take along are good and not fussy eaters unless you'll be paying for food that they wouldn't eat. Overall the place was a good place to have lunch with the family and friends. Visited 19th March 2022

I visited this place for the first time on my son's birthday. Since my son had been there many times before, he took us there on this occasion. The atmosphere was not bad; however, I didn't find anything particularly special. They seated us in a corner and provided a drink menu with a per-person price. Alcoholic drinks were priced quite high, so we opted for unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. Getting to the main point, the setup involved going to the open buffet to choose and purchase the food. I wanted to sample as much as possible to understand the taste and provide feedback. Despite a wide variety, unfortunately, the quality was quite low. It was disconcerting to find a long hair on the plate while serving rice, but I didn't let it spoil my day. Although encountering a single hair is somewhat normal in a bustling open buffet where many people are constantly moving around, it was still a bit off-putting. Surprisingly, my personal favorite among all the options was the fried spicy wings. Despite the various choices, the quality didn't meet my expectations. The desserts, especially the churros, were well-prepared, though it seemed likely that the churros was ready-made. It paired nicely with hot chocolate. In the end, it wasn't a place that suited my taste. I haven't decided if I'll visit again.

Delicious food in different varieties - Asian, Oriental and English cuisines mainly. I really enjoyed the food here. Buffet style dining so you're spoilt for choice. There's seating available on two levels with lovely interiors. It's best to make a reservation before you arrive otherwise you face an hour's wait at peak periods. Yep, the food is that good and the queue is long... Check it out!

Indian section is nothing to shout about, chicken tikka was ok, rice ok tikka mushrooms? And chickpeas? Naan the man said to go away and come back in 10 mins (Rude( Not a great selection of Authentic North Indian dishes.Thai was also ok but no white rice to go with the curries??? Weird no sticky rice, no jasmin rice. Not sure what I was supposed to eat the curry with? Cocktails a bit on the small side. Prawns great and enjoyed ribs.

If you haven't been to Cosmo, you haven't lived! Buffet, lots of food and drink. It was a friends birthday and so we made a booking. It's a popular birthday spot as loads of other people had their birthdays too! Beautiful ambience! Friendly and helpful staff, always smiling!! The food was sooooo scrumptious and delightful!!! Sooo much variety. Lots to eat and drink. The ice cream machine and the chocolate fountain are simply an amazing bonus! A great hit with the kids and, of course, adults too!!!! Clean plates, cutlery, cups and bowls The best part? You get to eat! And eat!! And eat!!! Until you can't eat anymore. Then you eat some more!!!! It was such a beautiful experience. The adults loved it. The kids loved it. We would definitely be back!

I'm not a picky eater. The food was good, there's a huge selection. Staff are friendly and helpful and I am a huge fan of the birthday and student deals. However, some of the plates are dirty, as are the walls of the booths you sit in. The party I was with complained a lot about how chewy or hard all of the food, especially the meat was and I really do not believe that the food is 100% worth the price even if you do try to burst your proverbial belts. Overall an enjoyable and fun experience. Especially good for those who can and would like to eat a lot. I understand times may be hard due to the pandemic but I would not recommend this place as a celebration location.

Rarely do I write negative reviews however I couldn't avoid it on this occasion. I visited cosmo for my sons birthday and I was highly disappointed with our experience. This restaurant is purely unorganised chaos. The food stations are messy, unclean, empty, and very unhygienic. The food was overcooked, either bland or too salty, and some of it looked inedible (mushy overcooked veg)! The desserts were no better except a couple of the small cakes were ok. We really did struggle to find dishes that were tasty and it was an effort to find something decent to put on the plate. The service in this place is very odd, so many members of staff yet they were either unhelpful or clueless. This place feels like a cattle market, the bowls are just chucked inside a plastic basin and they were mixed up with dirty used bowls it was shocking and disgusting! I visited this place a few years ago and it's definitely gone downhill since then. I'll never return to this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

The decor is nice, chairs padded and very comfortable. We were a table of 5 which they squeezed us onto a table of 4 even though we had booked well in advance, luckily we had a small one with us but if it'd been 5 adults it would have been uncomfortable. First impression was the buffet area was smaller than I expected, though after having a good look around it had all the usual you'd expect and was kept clean and tidy. We were one if the first sitting and headed up to the buffet quite quickly but all king prawn items were gone and not replenished in the 90mins we were there even though asking. Now I know this is an expensive item but it does state on the menu so expected. There was a cold prawn salad and even smoked salmon though. The Sunday carvery was okay, the beef and Gammon were juicy and tasty though the accompaniments were lack lustre. The teppanyaki didn't open until 40 mins into our sitting, but once open the only wait was for your food to be cooked. Choice of beef steak (very thin) prawns, scallop and squid and you can pick a mix of 2. Large choice if deserts, fruit and icecream plus a chocolate fountain. The staff were friendly and helpful, removing dirty plates quickly and there when needed them but without being overbearing. Overall the food was okay, we had our fill and everyone left happy.. I would go there again but not in a hurry.

Really nice restaurant and the food is lovely. I really love the prawns and the chicken. The atmosphere of the restaurant was especially lovely I love the lighting and the staff was great too. I especially enjoyed the ribs that are a great selection of food. The desserts were also really enjoyable. I love the chocolate fountain Yeah and ice cream it was very yummy Edit. I’ll definitely come back again next time I was brought here by my friend for her birthday.

I have really enjoyed my time at cosmo Romford. The food is amazing and fresh, lots of food.options to choose from and service was great throughout. As soon as we got here we ordered our drinks and got straight to eating. Food was great, service was lovely and staff are warm and friendly and atmosphere was comfortable and calm. Such a great evening! The Chinese food was my favourite, so many different options of beef and chicken! The desserts were also delicious!! I will definitely be coming back during my next special occasion!

Cosmos is a very lively place. The staff are very nice. The food is absolutely amazing. The prawns are my favourite. I like that there's a big variation of different types of foods. The food and meats are perfectly seasoned and to my liking. My family and I have been coming here for many years and we celebrate every event here. I always feel welcome and I'm a regular here. Will definitely be coming back moving forward.

Super disappointed with the service!! We had a family meal for 2 boys birthdays so there was a few of us. The food was OK and a good selection but the service of the staff towards the end was shocking!! They were super rude and kept hovering around for the table. We spent over £600 in less then 2 hours and they made us feel super uncomfortable when our time was up. They We all agreed that we would never go back just because of how the staff behaved. We understand you need the tables but there's no need to be rude nor make fun of guests!! X

Me and my whole Family went for my son 12th birthday. We were nearly 20 people altogether included kids age 3 to 16 plus adults. Ever single of them enjoyed food , drinks ,atmosphere and the service they gave to us was marvellous 👌. All over it was fantastic experience for me and my family. Thank you so much. Amazing food at a fair price. Coupled with refill soft drinks it's a good meal out. Their selection is quite vast so there's usually something for everyone.

WHEN you CHARGE CLIENTS for ENTRANCE YOU MUST provide service YOU CHARGED FOR, you MUST PROVIDE ENOUGH DISHES in canteen FOR ALL CLIENTS as you aware as tables been booked in advance. If you can not afford to accommodate so many people then don’t charge them for nothing…!!! Rubbish customer attitude, they “Cosmo” are ok to charge you for your visit even if you haven’t stepped inside the canteen, that is understandable as may be a case of precautions due the past incidents unfortunately “I witnessed one case”. However when you going to into restaurant with their own logo “All you can eat” this means you can treat your self without any restrictions to any dishes, you must feel that you are there to serve yourself with what is most tasteful for you, you really have big choices in self service kitchen area but not all dishes are available most trays are empty…, like pita bread, sweet ribs, PRAWNS practically never available, they are bringing no more than 15 prawns mixed with salat in tray, where you have at least 6 peoples waiting for them, so to treat your self you must wait as per their suggestion about 15min until next tray comes again WHAT…!!! tray with bunch of salat and another 15prawns in tray mixed with salat, Shocking…!!!where you have someone with two children’s in front of you and tray again is empty F… S…e, more than half an hour to wait for prawns to try. But shocking is that you have table for 1h 30min where you spend more than 30min queueing in line for dishes and waiter’s in rough manner as brick he’s name is “O……n” come to us and disturbing during our enjoyment evening with table of 20 with comments “He is expecting table back in next 15min”. WHAT…???!!! Far way back in past was a good restaurant with nice kind staff now restaurant full of selfish admin and staff. You have big gap on customer service approach and support to work on improvement.

Great selection of food, organised staff at the entrance, I liked their manners with the customers. The line was going fast enough although it looked long when we arrived around 5pm. Staff inside were helpful and friendly. Food was great, but it was getting wiped out pretty quick by the guests .. way too many kids running around, I'm not a father so it was a little overwhelming.. however, all in all, great atmosphere, food, decor, cleanliness, and customer service.

Terrible service! Tried to make a reservation before going there but it didn’t let me and this was early in the morning! Website clearly says walk-ins are accepted so we went there. Waited more than 1 hour in a queue while all the reservations were invited in. NOT A SINGLE WALK-IN PERSON WAS TAKEN IN! i feel really bad as we’re paying the same amount yet they keep us waiting for hours. They could’ve made it only reservations or only walk-ins. Or else at least have the courtesy to take in people from both the queues. Terrible! So if you want to wait for atleast 1.5 hours, pay them a visit. Thanks for the reply but have to tell you it’s not the reduced seating capacity that’s causing waiting time, it’s lack of staff. Just to let you know the 1st floor is totally empty and you don’t have enough staff to clean up the tables after customers leave. So while empty tables are waiting to be cleaned the people were standing in a long queue.

Good food and lovely staff. I come here most weekends since it’s all you can eat. Money well spent.

This place was sooo nice. I usually don’t reviews but this place was extremely good. As soon as we walked in the security guard was very nice and welcoming and the staff were so chilled out especially one of the staff members named Sanu. The Hong Kong noodles were the star of the show. Very flavourful and very light for the start of the buffet. I would 100% come back!

The food as awful I would not wish anyone that goes here the manager is rude went for myth amount of people that’s was there like it’s customers fault. Tables were left with food no one was taking the empty plates there was smashed glass no one cleared it when infants are there, I will never ever go back again good for nothing the staff are ok but the management needed to go back to training after paying £800 on food for him to say all we can have back is £21 off service charge which to me is an insult. No ratings of i can do it please go if you wish but to us never again

Use to go here all the time years ago but really feel like the quality as dropped massively. If you’re hungry and don’t really care too much on quality then it’s the place to go. Load up on what you enjoy most and eat….If not then give it a miss and go somewhere else. Would also recommend not going during peak hours. It feels too crowded and people can be extremely rude when food is involved it seems

Had a lovely dinner here again. Fully packed restaurant on Saturdays for £20.99 for an hour and a half eat all you can. Good food and hot once you get to the trays before they finish and topped up, very friendly staff too.

Too small place with 3 Square meters kitchen and 1000 seats.. ridiculous.. Squid crunchy Rice plastic Pizza rubbery Beef dishes hard beef.. Best experience will be eating the ice from ice dispenser. 21.99 a head and 10.99 for kids.. Do not visit...

I’m not usually one to complain but this was appalling. When eating in the restaurant I saw a young teenager pick up the big spoon that was in the bowl of fruit and eat off the spoon and then put it back in the bowl. I don’t like to complain but when seeing this I thought it was the right thing to do and let a member of staff know what I witnessed so they could resolve the issue. I work in a restaurant and I know managing a busy restaurant can be hard to spot things like this so I thought I’d do my bit and make them aware of the situation. She then told the manager who completely ignored her and didn’t do anything about it. They didn’t even change the spoon let alone throw the food away that had been contaminated by someone’s saliva….in a time like this it is more worrying with covid and such so I was absolutely shocked to see the manager do nothing about it. You kind of expect a buffet place not be the most hygienic place but this was extremely unhygienic and shocking, especially considering the manager was made aware and still did nothing! Despite this the food was nice and there was quite a variety including people’s saliva.

Nice deco and food was very nice as they had flavours ,each meal tasted different and the manager Malone was very kind he assisted us with getting the high chair and made us all welcome . Overall the customer service was brilliant.

Food is very nice , lots of variety. Definitely book if you want to go on the weekend it gets very busy. I found some of the food like the mussels a little cold but overall a nice meal. The tappenyaki offers scallops prawns and squid, which were cooked beautifully. Lots of dessert options and refillable drinks is a great touch.

There is an array of food, you will be spoilt for choice. From lasagne to sushi, from chicken curry to octopus. Whatever turns your crank! My favourite was the sea food. I loved the prawns they were simply scrumptious. There is ample paid parking in the mall. And for £16 per person, it won't break the bank.

The best food cooked to perfection. Very nice atmosphere. Clean to a very high standard. Comfortable dining. Excellent prices. Huge range of foods. Staff are very pleasant and can't help you enough. One of the best buffet restaurants in the business. Really looking forward to visiting on a regular basis. Easy to book on line too

All you can eat with Whippy Ice cream and a chocolate fountain.... What's not to like. Odd you can't book on the same day so if ore the website, just turn up and hope. Not too busy when we went and we were seated instantly. Food kept warm and replenishmed pretty quick. Great selection from around the world. Come and enjoy!

I visited Cosmo Romford on Sunday 18.9.22. The place was fully booked. I have enjoyed the noodles, the spicy chicken, fried mussels and its cheesecakes. Definitely went to get the cheesecakes twice!!! my first time in a Cosmo restaurant but I have experienced other buffets. I believe it's a place for many of us to eat at a reasonable price.

Everybody seemed to just grab what they wanted no system or queue in place, a bit manic . Staff was very polite and very present as regards to keeping tables clear. Throughout the evening toilets could of done with a clean as toilet tissue all over and wet flooring , yes I know it's customers doing but staff should be making regular checks . Wouldn't rush back however was a nice evening .

Excellent buffet! There is a wide variety of food cuisines to choose from. The Teppenyaki was very good. The staff are friendly, particularly Romio! A must go to if your in need for some good food!

Worst experience ever go dining in my life, My friend spoke with them in evening about the restaurant buffet is halal or not and also ask the buffet closing timing , they said it’s halal but there was only few things halal. Secondly, we drive 1 hour specially just to visit this place we late there and the buffet was suppose to close in 15 minutes so quickly start taking food, there was a chef who was walking continuously on back and said, you have just 5 minutes, once i ignored then he came back after a round then again said you have just 3 minutes after repeated continuously I turned my face and ask him what is the problem, I know the timings you don’t need to tell me again and again like you want to kicked me out from here, so then he started misbehaving and came on face like he wanted to beat me. I scared and call the manager, the manager came so I explained him all the situation but he even ignored and he said sir I will speak with him don’t worry,like he don’t care of customer problems. Such a bad experience, untrained staff and as well the disrespectful staff it shows the management and the brand name. Last but not least, the food was cold and the bread was not fresh and the rice was cold like came out from the fridge. Again quality of food “0”.

AMAZING FOOD ENTAILING AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE.THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS SUPER SPEADY, THE QUEUE WAS EXTREMELY SHORT AND WE WERE VERY QUICKLY SEATED.
