New to town, needed a decent place in a decent location at a decent price for about 10 days. This Sonesta exceeded expectations. Would stay again.

Located centrally, the rooms were clean and didn't smell. The key card machine did not work for the 3 days I was there so the staff had to be inconvenienced with escorting me to my room each and every time I came back. But it's due for a refresh, shower curtain was starting to fray, The shower itself is not ceramic so it makes A LOT of noise with each step you make - Makes me wonder if the person below me heard it. Some of the other furniture (chairs) in the room did not look like he should be sat in. That definitely needed to be thrown away and replaced. Some of the carpet looked like it was pulled up in the corner of the room. It had ants - BUT! to their defense every hotel from super nice to just average who had a full kitchen always had ants. Overall a nice stay if you're just looking for somewhere to rest your head. The room is a lot bigger than I expected it to be.

Pretty straight to the point hotel. Needed a cheap lovers getaway and a lot of places were already booked up solid, snagged a room for $163 on a friday after taxes and fees (was listed as like $121 or something I don't remember). Super clean, very sanitary and covid conscious. There were other amenities that we didn't take advantage of like gym and laundry. Queen bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge, variable shower head, handicapped bars. Had a full kitchen including electric stove top.

For the price I was expecting a much more professional and cleanly place. The staff was nice but the location was ghetto. Much less than I was expecting for the price.

Roach motel anyone? … I only had the energy to kill one. So… takes a lot for me to review and I gave Corp a chance to at the very least apologize. Management is claims this never happened If it didn’t happen how did I get checked into the second room 🤔 room 1 Checkin was later in the evening and entering the room I was hit with a strong musty smell, within a few min I knew it was mold as I’ve felt this respiratory issue in the past with mold. And my breathing became restricted quick. Tried to fight through it and laid on the bed. Bed was damp / wet to touch. Tried a shower came out an the walls mirrors doors cabinets desk all surfaces were dripping wet and the bathroom door was closed when I showered Went to front desk and staff took note to pass to Managment to get me another room first thing in the mornings Went first thing in the AM and room was changed quickly. Room 2 Same damp musty odor. I was by the fridge and noticed the smell was stronger there. Come to find out it’s coming from the sink drain. I bent over to confirm and yes something is bad moldy in the plumbing. Day goes on and I plugged sink with a stopper and left for the day came back to same thing but but a little lighter in smell. I had a window open and bath fan on to create a cross breeze. Helped a bit but still had breathing issues. Then the pic. I was getting my things together and there was the first baby roach scurrying across the desk. I killed the one and there the napkin in the trash. Thought better of it and took a pick as why would they admit to having an infestation. If you see one it’s and infestation and this is on the 3rd floor. Managment is denying any of this happened… and yet gave me another room I guess for no other reason than I requested it… yeah Sonesta ‘I want the same thing just on another floor please. And can you sprinkle in some roaches this time?’ Thanks So corporate Sonesta says that they have to submit this to management at the hotel for review 🤦‍♂️

The room and entire hotel were old and outdated and smelled horribly like smoke, must, and mold. Even the towels, sheets, bed, and pillows smelled strongly of mold. I had trouble falling asleep due to the smell. Every surface of the room was sticky. It was clear nothing had been cleaned well, if at all. The only pros were the bed was comfortable, water pressure was strong, staff were friendly, and hotel was close to the airport. Next time, I’ll pay more to stay at a cleaner hotel though.

Nice place to stay at. We got the 1 bedroom suite and there was plenty of room for 3 adults. The room was clean. We had 2 issues the room had a strange odor to it. We tried spraying air freshners, and it worked for a while. The other was the bedroom got warm at night. I slept on the pull out sofa and was cold all night, but my daughter and son in law got hot. The staff is very nice and accommodating. They have a snack area with chips and coffee, a laundry room, a weight room. Next to the elevator was a locked cabinet with different kitchen appliances that you can use during your stay. They also had dvds and books you get too. Another downside was the walk to the elevator, so be prepared to get your steps. I highly recommend this place. It's also close to the Columbus, Ohio Airport. It's a very quiet and safe area, and no one woke us up at 6 am. Waking and talking going up and down the hallways

Best place to stay. Clean comfortable spacious room free to wash clothes. Has small kitchen with everything . Stove, pots and pans, dishes, refrigerator that's full size. Queen bed , recliner, TV, lots of counter space and closet.

Rooms smelled very badly. The refrigerator was very loud and old. The furniture was old as well. I’ll skip this place on my next trip. Not impressed at all

Nice clean room but people come here to party on a regular basis and it often gets loud in the middle of the night. Young children running down hallways at 1 in the morning, yelling, screaming, beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere outside. Ignorant people with no regard for others disturb the peace you should have in a hotel after midnight. Nice staff but they don’t seem to be able to control the noise. Happened three times in last 3 months.. won’t be coming back. In addition, rooms are too warm even with heat off.

It's basic, but in a good location. Rooms are fairly quiet even with jets taking off right above us. There were two issues I had with it. First, there is a very strong odor of marijuana coming down the hallway from one of the rooms, even though it's supposed to be a 100% non-smoking hotel. Second, there were long black hairs sticking to the walls of the shower/tub, which obviously were from a previous guest.

Not only were the staff Exceptional, but they assisted me at a time when I was truly in a life and death situation , I will forever be grateful.. I am a us veteran who just lost his wife and home in a fire 🔥... they are truly Good people. God bless you all and I pray that all your dreams come true. Sincerely your friend for life... U. S. I can't speak highly enough of their staff. We cheched in and then had to check out shortly after due to some unforeseen medical issues. The staff was so friendly, kind and understanding. We had prepaid for the room through priceline and she explained everything we needed to do for a refund and then verified with priceline the circumstances and the whole situation was handle very smoothly all thanks to the kind staff at Sonesta. The rooms are really cute and homey. I wish we could've stayed there longer!

Nice area and first stay was uneventful. Walls are thin. My bed this time was fantastic but the room needed some TLC. The pics speak for themselves. Somehow the air must have had issues so there was a portable in the room already on no one explained that I'm assuming that's what it was. I had a long weekend there for sports games asked for a late check out. My door opens as I'm resting before I check out at 1 which I was told was fine and she asks when am I leaving .. like how rude I could have been doing anything it's not ok to just open my door and once I tell you I'm still here do not proceed to question me. The staff here is always nice but this incident really annoyed me. Check with the front first to see who has checked out don't just open the door.

I own a home care company and had a client that was renovating their home. They needed a place to stay for about 2 months. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Very quiet and clean. Would recommend to the most picky people.

Great location, amazing manager, and very friendly staff combine to make this pretty friendly hotel a wonderful place to stay in Columbus! Though it is near the airport, it is not a noisy location. The doors to the rooms do not slam, which is an incredibly valuable feature in a hotel. We also noted, that though we were on the ground floor, we did not hear the people above us. Having our own kitchen area, including a full size fridge, was very convenient. We had a reservation at a budget hotel at the North part of the city, but upon seeing the room there, my husband decided we needed to find a better place to sleep. This was it! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely choose this hotel.

Maintenance sorely needed. Towel rack fell off, toilet overflowed. Desk clerk pressed into service plunging the toilet because of a labor dispute with the maintenance folks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly.

Rooms were SO clean! Don't let the exterior fool you. It's not great, but the building is secure and you get FREE use of laundromat. The kitchenette is the best.

Great place.. we had check in because of electricity was out at the motel we staying at. The lady's was very nice room was very clean. I just wish we would of found that motel instead of the one where in. Where here working for 3months.

We stayed for 2 nights in room 108, and it would have been a great experience, but our room was very humid. It was very uncomfortable. When we got home, the clothes in my suitcase smelled like mildew. Room size was great, service at the desk was great, the room was clean.

I am a former employee of this company and initially working there was great until, payday came and I was not paid my first paycheck. I was given $300, from a check of $822.60, informed the the remaining funds would be available to me on the following week however, that was not the case. I was given another $300 on a Visa gift card but this time it was defective so I had to have a new one sent by mail, which took another week. I received the new card all for it to be defective again. All the while, informing my supervisor and the gerenal manager of the issues I was having and, continuously working. I was never reimbursed for that paycheck, I have tried to file a police report for the missing funds however, the general manager refuses to give me the receipt, as I was not the one who made the purchase. Whenever I asked about my paycheck / missing funds or to speak with corporate, the general manager would become argumentative saying things like; she was corporate and she was at her wits end on the issue. I did end up leaving the job due to this unforseen circumstance and, to my surprise was banned from the property because of her (the general manager) making a false report of an altercation that she caused by yelling and, beating on her chest in rage about my asking for my money. I have worked in hospitality for years and, this is my first time ever experiencing this type of unprofessionalism to the extend of my being banned for doing nothing but asking for money owed to me or, at the very least, the receipt so I could fix matters on my own. I am legal to work in the US however, this is the first time I felt as though I was a salve who worked for nothing but drama and a threat of being hauled to jail if I make psychical contact with the property.

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff was super helpful and friendly. You can do your laundry for no charge and on top of all that you get a big room with a fully stocked kitchen and a dishwasher.Loved this place would highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

Stumbled upon this hotel looking for a room at the last minute. The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rates good. Location is great. What more can you ask for?

I selected this hotel due to a last minute change in my business travels, and I am glad that I did! The staff was welcoming, cordial, and attentive. The facilities were clean, quiet, and supplies were readily available. It is about 15-25 minutes from the airport. This place is a gem, that needs to be well known!

I travel 11 months out of the year. The staff here are very tentative and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The grounds are clean around the hotel. I will definitely rebook next time I'm in Columbus!!!
