Shocking! Just reopened...fast service to be fair but food was cold and order was wrong. Wasn't bothered about mine but my kids was cold and mozzarella sticks and chips might aswell still been frozen. Wow would give a 0 if I could. Give it a miss next time!

Expect queues around the roundabout and chaos upon every visit. You will have to wait for your order and good luck trying to get a parking space when leaving the drive thru. Going inside to get your order won't be any faster either but you will have a show with your dinner. If you expect all this every time you go and make sure you check your order before leaving then you won't be disappointed.

Slow service! Every single car from the drive thru was told to park up even though the car park is tiny. The security guy was bringing out orders and he didn’t have a clue who ordered what. It took 10 minutes to order then 20 minutes to receive food. Everything was cold and not even warm. Probably the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too!

Absolute disgrace. Sent my order without the fries. I called them to rectify, they told me to contact Uber as they delivered the order. I then spent half hour on the phone to Uber, during which time the whole food order was stone cold and no good. I can only assume that being incompetent and thick is in the job description. If you can’t read a small list and pack 6 items then how do you get yourselves dressed in the morning?

Should be 0 stars. They are completely incapable of getting a single order correct. Won't refund despite numerous missing items in the order, phone and they refuse to help at all. Even if you say you will drive up to collect its a no! Worst customer service I have ever experienced, will take your money and won't provide what you have ordered.

Asked for a quarter pounder only cheese, received a chicken mayo with all the trimmings X2.. nearly fell off the sofa laughing at how shocking this place is, keep your money and go through the bin outside Tesco trust me this is the better option

Ordered 2 Big Tasty meals, McCrispy meal, chicken select meal Only 3 meals turned up, only 1 drink and no dips at all. Food was cold, soggy and chewy. How can you get the order so wrong….absolutely disgusting

It’s McDonald’s so never expect too much, however if you have trouble with accessibility you’d best go somewhere else, otherwise you’re in direct completion for disability parking zone against the Uber eats drivers and drive thru orders who seem to take priority over the spaces, staff don’t even give a damn about it either. Some friendly staff on some days and when you can actually get a parking space it’s not that bad of an experience, unless big groups come in and get disruptive which happens almost daily from my experiences. On another note avoid midnight rush as there’s always difficulties around this time with placing orders. Tldr:- Not handy accessible. Barely room to park plus overloaded drive thru orders. Friendly staff and normal McDonald’s experience.

Gone downhill dramatically. Two days on the run they have ruined my order. 1st day forgot about me in click and collect, then gave me totally wrong order. Over 45 min wait. 2nd day ordered with Uber. Half the items missing and the other half were customised wrong with items left on that we were allergic too. Had to drive down to replace items, and managed to still get it wrong. Every time i use it you have to park up and they give you half the items while you wait for the rest. So the coffee go cold, the ice cream melts waiting for the rest.

Shame there isn't a zero star option. This McDonalds is totally useless. Had deliveries and something is always missing meaning you then have to drive there to sort it out which is then making the delivery pointless. So tried going in store this time (12-5-23) ordered on the touchscreens, paid, collected and went home. Oh what a surprise there were burgers missing. Couldn't be arsed to drive back and complain so ended up having to cook something. Never again, avoid Aberdare McDonald's like the plague they haven't got a clue what's going on and can't get a simple order correct.

The last 3 meals I've had for here have been well below par. This mornings breakfast was absolutely botched. I ordered 2 bacon and sausage McMuffins, without the egg. I received 2 bacon McMuffins, that were like biting into hard plastic. But atleast they didn't leave the egg! I don't understand how you can serve someone food this bad.

Some staff are very friendly - some seem angry. Recent experience at drive through - gave order into microphone, not asked if I wanted a bag (chargeable here in Wales) - by time got to pay at window a bag had been added (without asking - fair enough I would have said yes...). Get to collect window and handed order loose - piece by piece. Asked where my 5p bag was that I had been charged for without asking - stroppy teenager then goes away to get a bag. Then there's delivery... UberEats delivery from this store - never had an order that's correct. Straws and dips almost always missing. Whole items "forgotten" commonly. Bags are sealed at McDonalds so it isn't the drivers....

1 cheeseburger short after waiting 10 minuites wait for a £13:80 order , the waitress checked my order and went to get a cheeseburger but a manager returned insinuating I was trying to scam a cheeseburger and refused too replace it ! Really bad attitude from manager who refused too identify himself and has 0 customer service skills. Bad experience will not return !

Just visited (15 Nov 5.30pm 2023) . Went to drive through and it was quite busy so had to wait which I expected. I didn't expect to see staff delivering food to cars vsping in between deliveries

Best meal I've had there in a long time. Very fresh was able to sit outside in the sun.

There were lots of Adolescents misbehaving. Security guard was trying to maintain order, but due to the overwhelming amount of children in the building he had no chance. Also, they had run out of all icecream at the premises

Same as every McDonald's across the country rob you by delivering part order then blaming uber eats or delivery. So you have to go through them even though you ordered it through the McDonald's app. The owner stole it off the founders and are stealing off us.

Considering its recently had a refurb they could have used the closure time to correctly train their staff! Upon arrival the car park is full and the drive through queues are half a mile long (I use tescos often and it's always the same!). Met with 2 staff members smoking outside-lovely. I side, 3 staff members on break and one in and out helping himself to coffee. Waited 25mins for a cheeseburger happy meal, thankfully it was warm. The saving grace was the security guard who fair play to him was nmengaging with customers and getting stuff done (Thurs 14th Dec, 6.30pm). So absolute praise to this guy who has some work ethic! Staff had no go in them at all. I'll definitely be avoiding this mc.donalds

Worst Macdonalds I have ever been to in my life! Had attitude from some silly little girl who looked 12 years old when I asked if I could have fresh chips. Then was asked to park up for a few moments as they were short staffed (fair enough) then 12 minutes go past and when our food arrives it’s the chips are stone cold! Reading the reviews this is obviously a common theme. NO Drinks and when I asked where are the drinks another child told me I had already received a them and wanted to see my receipt! Woww! Then I wait for them to bring me the same stone cold drinks back in another bag! Then to top it off the happy meal had NO TOY 😂😂😂 Honestly the worst Macds I’ve ever been to in my life and will NEVER EVER RETURN! AVOID!

No toys available with happy meals. No McFlurrys available. Toilets best I've seen though, very roomy unlike most other restaurants.

The service was slow as I had come at a busy time and I could not make sense of the preparing/collection screen because the cashiers were calling out numbers that weren't on it. I recommend that you select the 'Dine in' option or you'll be charged 5p for the standard brown bag (must be a Welsh thing 🤔 ). I can't recommend the apple pies, as they were over cooked brown, yet serviced cold (is that a Welsh thing too🤔 ).

Everytime I come here it's like the A470 coming into Cardiff at about 5pm, absolute carnage.. The food here is adequate enough. I mean it's mcdonalds I'm not going over harvester. I know what to expect. The only thing that brings this place down is the service, not the customer service but the actual way in how its run. Its almost like you mess up orders on purpose the amount of times I've used the drive through and i haven't got an extra cheeseburger like I ordered sitting in the bag and at this point I'm half way home when I realise this. I'm sitting there like "bruh". I never get any sauces in the bag either. I mean c'mon do you expect me to eat my chips dry.

Bit of a que being Xmas eve on the drive thru but got served really quickly. First time coming here and the food was spot on. Festive burger was so tasty. Everything was hot and tasted fresh.

We ordered a food delivery as we were staying at a campsite 1 mile from the restaurant on a 500 acre park with only one campsite, so how difficult could it be? As it turns out, very difficult!! Our food arrived 20 minutes late despite leaving very comprehensive instructions via Just Eat on our exact location and how to find us - you basically drive to the end of the road and we are on the right hand side in a field full of caravans and motorhomes clearly visible from the road. The delivery driver, presumably a local, went to the wrong place. Now, when we arrived here, both Waze and a TomTom sat nav brought us straight to the gate via the postcode provided, and we live nearly 100 miles away. As such our food was obviously cold (let's face it, McDonald's struggle to do hot food even if you were to eat at the counter in store). Utterly disappointed but ultimately not surprised.

The service is fast and the food is always decent and hot but unfortunately they are almost always out of allot of items on their menu, if its a promotional item... they are out, if its a limited edition item... they are out, and always with mcflurrys and milkshakes or any dessert tbh so usually get dissapointed coming here unless you order one of their original boring items.

Excellent food nice fresh fries .The person who served me was very very helpful especially as I had vouchers and a query which she handled very well .I also loved seeing the man with the walking stick making sure every child was happy and given a McDonald's package how lovely !!!

The staff need to practice using their facial muscles when serving customers! They literally looked paralysed! Smile people come on! The customer should feel valued! Not a burden. They were very busy as usual but customer services is everything!

Popped in for a coffee, mid bike ride. It was very busy for a Sunday afternoon but also lots of youngsters that all appeared well behaved. The toffee latte was actually very good!

I am not a fan of the multiple ways you order in store, it just seems to create queues for the sake of them, and causes confusion. It seems they have less staff now that screens...

Amazing service. Probably the best Maccy D's I've ever frequented. Staff were, all, so friendly and helpful. Even the security guard helped an older lady, to her table, carrying her food. I've been to McDonald's the world over, from ESVA, to here in Swansea, they almost throw the food at you, with contempt. So this franchise, just swept the floor with any franchise, I've been too (although, whoever owns any of the Swansea ones, should lose the franchise for the disrespect to the brand name. Yes, I only do the King in Swansea, due to that).

They left out some of my order and I bought 4 happy meals & had no toys with them yet the price was not adjusted. The toys are included in the price but when I rang & told them they said the price stays the same. That is not right surely.

Avoid at all costs! Lazy kitchen staff and absent management and it’s clear from the poor food quality and long wait times. Called up to tell them they missed a patty off a burger and she seemed more bothered in who delivered it…. Seem like they like using deliver services as scape goats coz they asked me to tell justeat. Just tell you kitchen staff to pay attention!

Cleanest mc Donald’s I have been to even though it was such a busy hour on Saturday. High quality food, best chips I have tasted and sandwich was generously filled with veg and sauce

This place is going downhill fast. They get my order wrong 9/10 times. For example tonight. I ordered two adult meals (med coke zeros) and a happy meal (small coke zero). And some how a childs coke zero was put down as a cappuccino. The woman quickly swapped this at the window after i had to convince her my 3 year old dont drink coffee. I was told to park up. When my food arrived i checked it and the receipt. I was charged for the cappuccino and the guy did go in to sort this out but came back with another drink. Obviously i didnt need another one. To get refunded i would have had to go in. With two kids in the car this was not an option. After i got home. The big tasty with bacon had no bacon. I have no idea if they are cheating people on purpose or they are inept.

Went through the drive through, placed my order and the staff read it back, went to pay and it was correct. Collected the order and it was missing items and some were incorrect. No point going back through the queue at the drive through to correct things just won't go again.

Very busy when I visited but I was served quickly. The The customer care guy was really friendly, helpful and really good at his job. How he keeps track of everything I don't know. We'll done.
