I vowed I would never go again and regret being persuaded back. The booking system is ignored and when food queues are already 50 minutes long you accept walk ins. Carvery is overwhelmed with just eat take out orders which ensures the queue is slowed down considerably. Not great when your mum is walking on 2 sticks and has to wait like this. If you order from the menu as well as the carvery dont expect to eat together. Our pizza and burger was left on the pass for 10 minutes with no waiting staff so resorted to wait on our own tables. Why you cant pre slice the meat is beyond me this slows the counter down even further. The quality of the food today was poor cauliflower with a light dusting of cheese flakes and some strange orange powder that needed a sledge hammer to cut it. Strange internal markings in potato as shown. When I asked to speak to the manager the lady on the front desk said she was but after sharing my thoughts she decided she was just a supervisor and I could call heaf office if I wanted. Nice one!

Attended for my Daughters Birthday and if I could give zero stars I would. The only decent part of the meal today was leaving, but only after receiving a refund for 4 of our meals after they either didn't turn up or looked inedible! They mixed up orders and at one point even admitted to forgetting parts of our order. My wifes adult macaroni cheese was mixed up with a children's portion - see photo of what was received. Safe to say she did not eat this, and it was cold anyway. My Mum ended up having to serve our table herself to avoid food going cold. The chips that did arrive were stone cold. Just Eat orders seem to be your priority rather than the orders received in-house. I honestly would not return nor recommend to anyone. If you want an hour long wait, for cold food and zero service then this is the place for you. On a positive note, you do have a few lovely staff members, it's just a shame that's where the good part of the review ends.

Good breakfast maybe a bit more selection on the breakfast needed but it was good value for money and the service was great. Drinks served very quickly and staff very friendly and talkative with our team. Seated 7 of us very promptly, would come again.

Absolutely diabolical service. Prioritising carvery and takeaways over anything else. Me and my partner sat here for approaching an hour and didn't receive starters let alone our meal. We demanded a refund. I appreciate the apologies but this only goes so far when it's clear that the issue here is disorganisation. Oh well, at least they brought our drinks within the first 20 minutes.

Customer service was shocking , had to set the table myself after sitting waiting for half hour , staff un helpful in serving my diabetic nan at the carvery as they were more concerned about taking the items off the carvery for deliveries and was told she had to wait. My partners starter came and the dough was still raw and able to stretch when cut. Her main had 2 raw eggs to the point that that they were running clear when picked up off the plate. And as if our experience wasn't bad enough we were handed 2 spoons for our dessert with bits of food on ( hadn't been washed properly) . Requested more spoons and they were a worse standard than the first!! Would never eat here again . Stay clear unless you want to wait hours for no customer service and food poisoning.

Sam made us two of the most tasty, delicious pizzas we’ve ever eaten - and Jan, the barmaid was so bubbly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Great customer service here. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly

I was served by a lovely Karla who was very attentive and extremely kind! She helped me with the discount and went above and beyond to ensure I was a happy customer! The food was absolutely lovely, and all staff were extremely helpful! Very decent price for the food portions also!! I’ll definitely be returning here in the future! Lovely environment!

Out for a family meal, 13 of us in total. Sat in the newly renovated room at the back of the pub. Nicely decorated and much more enjoyable to be tucked out of the way but still able the enjoy lots of space. Safer with small children as they can move about without running into other customers with hot plates of food. Lovely atmosphere and food quality was greatly improved from the last time we came. Staff were lovely too. Lots of positive changes at the fulling mill, great to see!

We experienced aboulsolutely outstanding hospitality, the customer service was above 100% the manger on duty Ashley D was more than accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure our food was exactly how we wanted it. Tracy B was just as accommodating with her friendly and approachable attitude at the bar nothing was to much for either of them. You don't come across service like this much nowadays. Me, my partner and our kids had a great time here and will visit again without a doubt. Fantastic! Worth every penny spent. Emma and Michelle xxx

We visit often and the food is always great! Today, I booked a pizza party for my daughter and the service was fantastic! They all had a chance to make their own pizzas, had drinks and ice-cream. The staff were amazing! Very helpful, attentive and kind. Thank you all for your patience! The pizza party is a fantastic package, I'd love to do it again!

Good food, good variation, good value for money. Only criticism was there was only one person serving on the carvery who seemed to be doing everything. He was serving customers, dealing with take away orders and going back and forth to the kitchens to replenish foodstuffs, gravy, etc while the queue was ever increasing. .2 people serving would have made life a lot easier.

Nice breakfast, food was perfect, Nem was very pleasant & helpful, my only criticism was there was no Worcestershire sauce or black pepper, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Great food, which is the only positive. Management team seem to be not existence and staff are running around like headless chickens, which is achieving nothing! Staff can't even get a drinks order correct from the app. The woman working on the carvery is the only one working and needs support.

After paying for our carvery and enjoying, we decided to have a dessert. I went to the till and paid for 2 apple pies. After 25 minutes no desserts had arrived so my partner went to find out where they were . It was nearly 10 minutes later when they eventually arrived. They were not that busy with people eating in, but it seemed concentration was on takeaway meals.

The food was fab. plenty of choice. The venue was clean and staff were very polite. We had a lovely family meal.

My review is of they're deliver service and their really bad plating up of my order, this time last year meals were delivered in a paper branded carrier bag and the meals plated up in good quality disposable trays. Fast forward to present, your meal turns up in a polystyrene tray in a plastic bag, which makes the food 'sweat" with condensation and rapidly cools. The vegetables accompanying your chosen meat has also over the last year diminished less than a serving spoon of each, and despite asking for the removal of the roast potatoes the still turned up. The container of gravy wasn't secured and was dripping out of the bag when delivered. Whole meal was sent back.

Awful. Never ever going back. Went for drinks. No Diet Coke, no ice and no burger buns for burgers. Being a Monday and it was advertised as 2 burgers for the price of one!!!! Settled for a carvery. Had to take back my beef, way too much fat on it. Fair play though they were very nice and gave me turkey instead. That’s why the one star. But never ever again will we go there.

Over all service was all we expected as always. Some staff members were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Certain ones always make us feel very welcome when we visit once a week especially for a carvery. The lady who always serves us on the deck (FON) always greets us with a big smile 😃 if you’re having a bad day she’s guaranteed to make you smile. Restaurant is clean as to be expected and very well presented for customers. When asked staff will most definitely help in any way they can and I do love a chat with them it’s just like being home. Overall definitely a 5 star ⭐️

Absolutely wonderful carvery. We come here for breakfast when we can and it is amazing, great quality meats used and no anemic Sausages! Cooked to perfection for me. Hash browns the best I've found. Nice calm atmosphere and my son loves it to and hes hard to please. Service is top quality, lovely helpful lady served us this morning, she is wonderful thank you, see you again soon! 😍

First time here today, we came on a recommendation from family, the staff were friendly with good customer service the barmaid explained how everything worked. There Is some room for improvement, the carvery wasn't very well stocked which wasn't a problem for us as we were not in a rush and the beef was very tough but the rest of the food was lovely. One other thing was that the queue at the bar seemed to go extremely slow, it wasn't busy today but I can imagine when it is busy this would be a hard work, tables were cleared quickly so all in all our experience was good and we definitely would return again soon 😊

We live in Blaengarw and we travel over the mountain to come to this carvery ! It’s our favourite !!! The service is always great. Food is always lovely and fresh. The last few times we have been here our service from Tracey.B has been second to none - thank you so much.

Did arrive lunch time, burger was okay did fill but not given much flavour. The fudge cake was lovely. The staff are very cheerful and helpful.

Had food from here last night. Food arrived late via uber. Food was well over cooked to the point that it was inedible! Didn't receive my dessert that I ordered! Tried contacting the restaurant and they don't answer the phone! So payed full price for something that went in the bin!

Booked for group of 9. There was plenty of room where we were seated. 2 had food allergies 1 gluten / 1 dairy this was dealt with very nicely, they even got to cheat the carvery queue. Carvery was nice and the atmosphere was great.

absolutely love coming here, especially when our regular table is available. Lovely staff, especially Anya who served us last time we came. Very friendly, great food.

Excellent value and service. We go every week without fail. The staff are kind and efficient. The food is lovely and tastes like homemade. We especially like to recommend Jan for the hard work she is always busy but goes above and beyond.

Christmas day was a total shambles and a very unlikeable experience. Under staffed and over run was a understatement, dinner was supposed to be 1445 ended up having something to eat at 1630 but just main course. We were so lucky as many people had Takeaways, just not right for Christmas with the family. Never again. One star is what I rated but it wasn't worth that.

This pub is beautiful from the moment you park! It's very clean as well, we saw all the staff cleaning when they had nothing to do. The staff thenselves are so friendly and polite, they appear to be having genuine fun at work and that just adds to the experience. The carvery was well stocked and freshly cooked and the lady who carved for us was brilliant. My son had a stuffed crust pizza and absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend.

**Please see update to this review** Food tasted good, but it was cold for the second time in a row that I've been there. I won't go there again Since posting the above information the manager has asked for me to get in touch to address the matter. On this occasion, I unfortunately haven't got the time due to home improvements and helping my parents. This contact from the manager shows a business willing to address issues, so I'll change my rating to a higher one.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Wasn't overly keen on the food this time round ordered 2 halloumi wraps with mayo and sweet chilli sauce witch comes with salad and chips. Chips where very dry halloumi was nice no salad or mayo and drenched in sweet chilli. My son ordered chicken burger witch come over cooked and dry was very disappointed.

First time coming here and the food was fantastic. Carvery was much better than any others I've had before in other restaurants. Apple pie and custard was a fantastic portion size. Will be coming back again.

Food is ok, you get what you pay for when you get so much volume for under £10 a head with drinks. Staff amazing and helpful. Really friendly and cleared and cleaned table straight away when we’d finished and even offered to get us more drinks etc if we wanted. Hope their hard work is recognised by management.

The service is quick and friendly. The carvery is delicious. We visit here at least once every 2 weeks. Jan is always so helpful and always happy to see you. She is a superstar with the gentleman I care for and always tries to talk to him and include him when order which he likes because not everyone acknowledges him.

Lady at the till ( Janet ) was very lovely, polite and helpful and also saved us a few quid. Food was lovely but only disappointing this is that the cauliflower cheese had no cheese sauce and was a bit dry. Apart from that myself and family enjoyed our meals. We'll done all keep up the good hard work.

I am here right now and oh my goodness the food is EPIC don't ever change it ever again. Mash was creamy and stunning. The staff were so nice but I want to give a special shout out to Georgiana the member of staff who served my food to me what an amazing lady she is so kind and so friendly. Thank you. Fantastic, professional, happy and friendly customer service from Tracy today! Accommodated us 8 last minute despite being full and extremely busy. Thank you Tracy. The young lad who brought our drink was also very friendly and helpful! Food was fresh and plenty of choice. We will be back !

Food is always well cooked and tasty when visiting the fulling mill. We arrived very late and had the carvery. There wasn't much meat left as to be expected but there was enough and the sides were still being replenished until the very end. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Gone home with a full belly and a good mood. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

My experience today, food was lovely not to hot, but hot enough. Not as busy as other times I've been , so it was lovely to just be seated and watch the traffic pass by. Waitress welcoming and talkative. Nice

I had 3 pick up carverys they were very expensive I paid £35 for the 3 .I was very disappointed at the amount of meat on each carvery.also roasts were not good like rocks could not bite through them and a poor amount of vegetables. Also the stuffing was in bits instead of balls I would rate the carvery at a 2 star they need to pick up their A game.would not buy another carvery again.the burgers are nice though and pizza is not to bad but have had that on odd occasion burnt.sad really as it used to be a really nice place years ago and at a reasonable price.

The premises are clean and the tables are quickly cleared once diners have finished their meals... The pub was busy and meant having to queue but the meal my wife and I had was worth the wait! We visit now and then and have never been disappointed. Will certainly come back.

First time here and we had a great experience. My baby has dietary requirements and the ladies behind the bar were amazing and so friendly and patient in accommodating to our needs. We will be back again
