    After new ownership this place has become more welcoming it seems, still has a bar and the food menu is great Im glad something so close opened up right where I live and I can easily go here with family and my partner for a small meal or a little enjoyment with the kids.. catered to children without a problem and staff are really nice

    Just had a family meal there and it was lush!! I wasn’t expecting it to be very nice because it’s so cheap but the food was so nice we will be back next week. The staff were very attentive and polite and 2 mixed grills for £11 it’s a bargain! 8 Very happy customers tonight.

    Went here for breakfast and it was £4 with unlimited coffee and it was absolutely beautiful One of the best breakfasts I ever had. The server was friendly and helpful and it was a beautiful place to eat

    Great value for money on meals. Drinks (alcoholic and soft drinks) well priced. Owner does a lot of good for the community too!

    Came here for husband's birthday. I had hunters chicken, he had mixed grill. The food was absolutely amazing. I ended up taking half of mine home because there was too much.. only complaint allyn needed a bigger plate 😂

    Visited The Gelli Hotel today for funeral refreshments and were very impressed with the venue.The staff were very friendly especially Kate and Libby whose special cocktail was absolutely amazing would recommend the venue to everyone for any occasion will definitely be returning

    The food was very good for the cheap prices paid, definitely one to visit if you are on a budget. Only criticism was the miserable bar staff.

    Myself and my two children had dinner here tonight. The portions are so generous I couldn't eat it all! Excellent value for money. The boys had desert which is included in the price of the kids meals. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

    Superb Sunday lunch today 4 fabulous meals 3 beef dinners two with Cauliflower Cheese and the new Yorkshire pudding wrap, wow that is something special. . Well done to Shelley couldn't have asked for better Try this next Sunday you won't be disappointed,. Chris keep this going

    I was chauffeur for a friend tonight, rather than come home just to go back to The Gelli to collect said friend I decided I was gonna have a meal and a drink here. Best decision of the night! The steak was the best that I have had in a long time! I'd probably go as far as to say it was better than the steak I would normally get at a Beefeater! 🤭 I'll be back here very soon!

    Had fish and chips here Saturday and couldn't eat any of it , not cooked properly through and the fish was like a paste felt so ill looking at it , when the table was cleared there was no remark about the plate going back not eaten , bad service bad cooking , will definitely not go back 🤮
