    The worst KFC I have been to. The lack of staff is painful, even internet orders take 20 minutes to be prepared after you've checked in. The seating area is dirty with litter and food strewn over the tables and floor. The food preparation area appears dirty and poorly managed. Update 17th April 2022 The restaurant has recently gone through a refit, but the service needs complete replacement. My last order had 9 items missing from it. Avoid this place, it is really the worst. If I could rate it at zero stars, I would.

    Today, my husband and I were here to eat lunch. Already at the beginning we were ignored at the service, where the lady ignored us while serving a customer who came after us. We waited a long time for the food. When picking up our order, we were informed that there was no cutlery. We ate the hot and spicy Rice box with our fingers. There was no sauce for this so we have sweet chilli instead. For me, this situation is unacceptable. We could have at least been informed about the lack of cutlery when ordering so that we could have changed the order. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the service wasn't.

    I couldn’t believe the state of the place, they have spent a lot of money re doing it. There’s food all over the floor tables dirty drinks tipped the wet floor sign was flat on the floor ! I was in there for at least 30 mins waiting for food, the floor behind the counter was covered in food debris, I’m surprised they haven’t got rats !, no one bothered to clean it all up and no one looked bothered the place was in that mess, honestly I’ve never seen anywhere look so dirty. I won’t be going back.

    Ordered drive through. Told to park up. After half an hour there was no sign of food. Went in to ask- still making it they said. Then after 10 more minutes someone else said it’s just been taken out to your car. When I checked, no delivery to car. So back in I go to ask again. Had to tell another 3 people what the order was and then when I eventually received it, it was wrong. Toto shambles and no apology. Unless you’re truly starving I would stay away! Poor service!

    Filthy tables, nobody cleaning. My son and I intended to eat in, but there were no clean tables. You could see the crumbs and grease on the tables. We took our food home to eat - maybe that's what they prefer? Portions are smaller than other take away places, and rather pricey for what you get IMO. I won't be going back which is a pity because the chicken spices are lovely.

    Ordered through app for drive thru collection only to be told rudely that I was to park up and pick up inside. Waited at counter with numerous staff telling me that I had incorrectly ordered so in the end I handed over my phone to prove that I had pressed the “already here” button. Manager and another girl proceeds to fiddle about with one of the tills to be informed “we don’t know how to do it”! By this time I had waited 34 minutes for my order. Finally given my order without an apology.

    1 star is fitting. Ordered £54 worth of food on the kiosk and it came up with “technical difficulties” but took the money out of my bank. I spoke to a worker who then tried to take my order on a piece of paper to make it up which is fine to then be informed they were missing the sides I ordered and I could have chips (bare in mind there’s about 8 sides). Asked if I could just have a refund and was told I couldn’t as there wasn’t a manager that could approve it so had to go away with food. Then wait half hour for the food. Get away and realised that I’m missing 2 lots of bites, 4 wraps and other things including condiments which I told him. Got £31 worth of food given to me in total ( worked it out on the app after) I’m really disgusted by this. Sort it out because you’ll have no customers left doing stuff like this. On top of this staff had a disgusting attitude. Will not be coming back.

    I ordered on screen but had no receipts the machine must have been out of paper I went to counter to wait for order to be called the staff didn't have to clue what they were doing I waited 20mins for my order watching the staff chatting & pressing button on the order display until she wiped it clean & no orders showing when I asked to speak to the manager he came out & they told me my order had been done & taken by someone else even though my number hadn't been called & I had been watching them all the time so knew it hadn't. if the machine had paper in it for receipts they could have double checked the orders going out. After speaking to the manager things did improve slightly the staff made themselves look busy & stopped standing around talking it's a shame one of them didn't come out into the eating area to empty the bin which was full to over flowing I will not be returning avoid at all costs

    Ordered from here last night,the fries were warm but the burgers were cold, learning experience l. I will never order from here again and to sum this place up in one word..... vile.

    Visit this kfc today and placed an order I waited 45 minutes for my order to be made and ready to be picked up when I finally received my order it was all wrong it totally redicalus it took 45 mins for my meal and thay can't get it right what a load off rubbish I've been to a few kfc and this is buy far the worst one I've been to . The staff wearnt the happiest as well wen I said about my meal waited all this time she rolled her eyes and slide my drink towards me and it tipped all down the side. I don't recommend this kfc at all long waits ,moody staff and and wrong orders.

    Well looks like youve lost another customer, as i wont be going back again!..I ordered on line with just eat..the order arrived very very cold & incomplete with several food items missing from my order. So for the £13.50 that i spent, we got a total of 5 chips (no where near a regular portion of fries) & 3 mini fillets. A total waste of my money & a very hungry little family. I have tried countless times to contact this restaurant but they are not answering their phone. Customers BEWARE & GO to another restaurant!

    Wow this place is just shocking! I ordered my daughter a popcorn chicken box and when I took it to the table I notice one item (pineapple stick) was missing so I went back to the counter and asked for it to be told “We haven’t got any” I asked them what can I have instead of it because I paid for something I didn’t receive. In the end I got another side order instead but the customer service with the lack of items on the menu is very poor management and I would avoid this place!!

    Ate in for the first time in ages! All empty tables were dirty. Had to ask for the tables to be cleaned. The floor was stinking - I don't know if they have a cleaner...but they need one! No plates for us to eat our family feast. And we've now finished our food and are still waiting for the beans

    Just went into KFC Porth and ordered a bucket meal. Not my best decision and i wont be going there again. The staff were polite and helpful but my food was awful. The chips were only half cooked and the chicken awful the coating is so hard i couldnt eat them. My food bin is now full and my stomach empty. Wont be going back ever again. I had to give one star or it wouldnt let me post my review but i wouldnt give one star.

    One of the worst fast food outlets I've ever been to. The worst was - another KFC. Porth KFC has THE MOST DISGUSTING toilets I have ever had to visit. Both the Men's toilet and the disabled toilet do not look as if they've been cleaned for days, or longer. There's a toilet brush in its holder which is completely full of brown water (not rocket science to work out what that was). The floor was wet, toilet dirty, no paper available. As the toilets are evidently a health hazard I have no intention of ever buying food at this place. Before visiting the toilets I had purchased a coffee (ordered a cappuccino but was served an ordinary white coffee which was tepid). Avoid at all costs.

    Porth , Staff no manners, food slapped together and cold . Rubbish all over the car park , bins overflowing. Then staff outside smoking and spitting ignoring the mess around them. Shocking should be closed down

    Great stop-off for a quick bite to eat. Friendly staff and quick service. Such a shame many of the customers are too lazy to put their waste in the many bins provided. This encourages the gulls throughout the parking area. Overall a great place with high standards, well done to all the staff.

    First when you walk in..it's usually dirty all round. The staff bar none are miserable and bad customer service. To get very bad portions and bad food on top of that. Highly not recommend this place at all. The nearby llantrisant restaurant is much better.

    Placed an order for delivery through the KFC app at 17:44 today. Delivery scheduled for 18:40 , yeah ok fine. From 18:40 until 19:10 the time for delivery kept adding +5 minutes. Called the store at 18:50 and they stated waiting for a driver to accept (yeah ok, a shortage of Uber drivers, not KFC fault) ... At 19:20 my partner called the store as the delivery was nowing showing 19:40 - nearly 2 hours since ordering. The young lad on the phone told her that it's been picked up and on the way to us - great! However at 19:25 ish I get a notification on my phone from my banking app to say the money has been reversed. I check the KFC app and yes it says order cancelled. I call the store to query whether it is indeed cancelled, as just 5 minutes prior it has been collected by a driver according to the young lad on the phone. He goes and checks and tells me it's been cancelled BY THE UBER DRIVER ?!? Of course I'm not an idiot and tell him that an Uber delivery driver cannot cancel my order and refund money from KFC and the boy told me that infact they can - if they cancel the collection, the entire order is cancelled and refunded - not just go back into a queue for another driver to accept the job like everywhere else in the world. Either Porth KFC is a magical place with different working practices to every other place that Uber works in, or I've just been flat out lied to. So I ask the chap whether the driver has in fact collected my order, like he told my partner 5 mins ago... He goes off to ask colleagues, and comes back with "no" . I query why he just lied 5 minutes ago and to be fair, he did apologise... "Yeah sorry about that" . Oh whoopdy do. Thanks a bunch KFC Porth - I'm so pleased that we've sat here for 2 hours waiting and then you have the audacity to lie to us.

    In these searing temperatures we are experiencing, the self service terminals are still showing ice creams on them despite that restaurant not serving ice cream. So had to have a refund. Thats why I have only given 4 stars. Food always good, but the toilet area needs some attention.

    Absolutely shocking ! Not just this visit but previous visits. Tonight was the last straw! Speaker not working and waited 20mins in queue in drive through before reaching window to be asked what I had ordered. To which I replied I haven’t ordered anything yet I’ve been sitting here in the drive through for 20mins ! I expressed my disappointment at the window and left without ordering!There’s always issues at this branch! I Manager needs to sort it out or shut shop! I would have given it a zero but no option other than 1 star !! Avoid this branch!

    I used the drive through. I ordered 2 vegan meals. They were so over cooked that we couldn't bite into them. KFC replaced the order with fresh meals which were better but even they were getting tough on the edges of the vegan fillet. Not really impresses. Were the fillets cooked from fresh or cooked twice? Not the best.

    Terrible service. Ordered a bucket and strips coating was missing off of it where it was just thrown in. We had pieces of chicken wing tips but there werent actually off the wing in the bucket (it was still on) and strips were raw

    Absolutely shocking!!!! Worst KFC ever honestly.... there was NOTHING there everything I asked for it was oh sorry we haven't got that there was like 6 different things, when I asked to change the order the blonde hair short girl was giving a stinking look in the background saying to the person at the window no no , I was like I'm changing it I haven't paid yet they didn't inform me they had the 10 for £5.99 deal and I ordered 8 fillets it came to £9 they didn't even offer me the deal for 10 instead! Rip offs down there and to top it off they told me they didn't have fillet burgers and when I opened the zinger box meal there was a fillet burger in there instead of a singer burger!!!!! Sort yourselves out it's shocking mun and the staffs attitude doesn't help the girl at the window was lovely but the 2 behind her had very bad attitude

    We thought as a refurbishment had taken place that staff would have been changed or at least trained in some sort of customer service. Alas after waiting at the counter being ignored and having to actually ask if anyone was serving I got to place my order. It finally came... incomplete of dips and when I asked for my dips, the girl behind the counter gave me a look of distain and said "what ones do you want then"? As they come with the 12pce boneless feast I obviously wrongly assumed I wouldn't have had to ask. Staff are rude and everything is too much trouble its no wonder the place has such a bad reputation locally. Avoid like the plague.

    Food was average, not up to the usual standard of KFC. The music playing inside was too loud makingnit difficult to speak to staff. The bins outside were overflowing as they hadn't been emptied and rubbish was piking up around them.

    Has to be the worst KFC in Britain and that is being nice. The lack of staff is pathetic. The staff they do have are clueless. A simple order takes at least 30 minutes in store. The store is brand new and totally filthy. If you are fancying a KFC do not go to porth as you will be tremendously disappointed

    We ordered online for eat-in and had to go to the counter after 15 - 20 minutes to find out was going on as it was not ready for collection. Seems that the system was confusing to the staff and it said the order was for collection and to eat-in so they had not prepared it even though the board said it was being prepared. Also had to ask for missing coleslaw, dips and serviettes. We still enjoyed the meal, just would have been better if it was on time and we didn't have to go back for the missing items.
