Ample parking, just dodge the inquisitive sheep. They will watch you eat and stare out your dogs, but I managed to stroke my newest butty on the nose. ๐Ÿ‘ There's an ice cream van up there for your treats and coffee, views for days, and a few hiking routes with wind turbines in every direction, don't stay too long they'll make you dizzy! A few bikers enjoying the steep ramps. Interesting place.

Small car park with lovely views and very friendly sheep! From the car park I went for a short walk over the hills. The view south was very cloudy/misty so I will definitely come back when the weather is a bit brighter (I reckon you could see the sea with some better weather).

An enjoyable car ride up a winding road brings you to Bwlch mountain, where there's a small parking area overlooking the mountains around and in the distance, the town of Treorchy. If you walk through a gate and up a gravel footpath, you have views of the other side of the mountain, of the Afan Valley. The only downside for me and my dog, was the off road motorbikes that raced up behind us on the gravel footpath. However, all in all, it is a wonderful area with fantastic views.

Quick break stop along the journey with stunning views over the valleys. Be mindful of the sheep if you are planning on stopping to have a quick sandwich, they don't have any intention of leaving you alone! From there you will also be able to see the Yellow Heart Memorial Foundation and a stolen car that was sent off the road down the valley!!!

Good place to stop and take in the scenery, parking is limited, but there's a steady turnover on weekends. Ice cream truck was there at time of our visit, seems to be a regular.

Great views , with good weather. Awesome motorbike roads. Great for cycling too , if you are feeling adventures to tackle those climbs :) Plenty of flat parking. There are also great walking trails in the area.

A good motorbike ride up. Quite a lot of traffic in the towns and villages on the way back down. Good views and an ice cream van at the top.

Great place to stop off when enjoying driving through the Brecon Beacons. The views are great all around - but this is one of the best spots to stop and actually be able to take it all in! Lovely on the sunshineโ€ฆ less enjoyable on the rain. No on-site facilities - plenty of bushes.

The view at the top of Bwlch Mountain is fantastic! We first drove past and didnโ€™t stop as it was too cloudy and couldnโ€™t see bigger all but on the way back it was clearer and we got much better views. The sheep seem friendly up there! Worth stopping and having a few minutes to enjoy the view!

What an experience, it was like walking on the top of the world. We had views of the Bwlch on one side and then the Rhigos on the other. It was tremendous to see Pen Pych main waterfall in the distance, Pen Y Fan, Llanwonno Summit, Pen Rhys, Pen Y Fan, Corn Ddu and Cribyn. Well worth a visit ๐Ÿ˜€

Plenty of parking at the top. If you walk up the road opposite the parking you can look back down the valleyโ€ฆHairpin road side. I was at the top on a Friday and there was a drinks van in the lay-by which I guess is there most days.

A fine drivers or riders road that offers spectacular views over the valleys.

Beautiful views and easy walk with access by car but parking limited, some mobile refreshments available, shame about the litter, beauty spot spoiled by rubbish with little attempt to clear things up, shame really

Beautiful views over cwmparc and Treorchy one side, the other side views of nantymoel, and the Bristol channel.

Amazing roads with great views, but watch out for sheep and cyclists.

Superb road for driving and fantastic views. Not that much traffic on the road, so quite enjoyable. Not quite as good as some of the empty mountain roads in Ceredigon, but still well worth a visit.

Great ride out over the Bwlch. Up from Nant Y Moel the home of Lynn Davies, Olympic Gold Medalist, long jump, Tokyo. Also home of the great Clive Roberts.

Stunning views. Great roads for a drive as long as you're cautious. Can be very cold even in Summer.

Lovely views for you if you fancy an ice cream or your own food and drink. The parking bay is free and busy at weekends normally there is a ice cream van there during the summer months. When parking i recommend reversing in as the main road can be busy to give you better view to pull out.
