Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. Leg of lamb with veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Delicious and good value for money. Great service too. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place! We were made to feel extremely welcome and were looked after really well from the moment we walked in. The beer (from their own micro-brewery) was great and a nice change to keg beer. The menu was really interesting, based on ‘Street Food’ and all 5 dishes we chose were exceptional. We would like to have tried everything on the menu! Great value for money and a definite cut above most restaurants we have visited. Thanks - we will be back!!!

Pleasant surroundings, including nice garden area. Great food, a bit different to regular pub grub. Well organised, staff friendly and efficient.

Lovely place. Went for food and cocktails for the first time. Cocktails were 2 for 12 and were lovely. And food was mouth watering. Service was slow but when the foods that good you don't mind so much!. The pub has a lovely outback area with seating and heaters it was just a lovely vibe out there. Staff were friendly and polite. Overall enjoyed :)

Stopped off here when out walking. Nice friendly pub with a good selection of real ale: the bar staff were friendly & chatty & there's a reasonably sized outdoor space. Didn't try the food, so can't comment on that. All in all, a nice pub which is obviously popular because there were quite a few people in, on a Sunday night.

Booked for a large party on Saturday evening, we were able to have our table early and were not rushed to move on. lovely atmosphere ,staff were very helpful, food was lovely, great beers , will definitely be back soon !

We were very lucky to find this lovely family run business. I visited unexpectedly with two young children while waiting for a train and we were welcomed very warmly by the young married couple who are the proprietors. A beautifully decorated bar which retains the character of the past. I hope to visit again some day.

Awesome meal and night at the Otley last Friday night. 9 of us all had amazing food and a wonderful night (again!) Staff and service overall were excellent, can’t recommend the place enough.

Incredible atmosphere... Food is OK... All the beers are different and flavourful... Me and my girl went for the quiz night. We won the wooden spoon... So I'll say a great place to hang out and have fun....

I have been meaning to come here for so long and finally got around to do it. After been told I must come as the food is delicious. Well I wasn't disappointed, I had the curry of the day. It was stunning, it came with rice, chips and a poppadom. Thinking it wouldn't be big portions I also had a chicken fillet side, I was completely stuffed from the curry but pushed through and finished the side, I didn't want to waste a morsel. They have a wide selection of beers on tap with their very own brand of ales and beers too. Plus the do cocktail on a Friday and Saturday too. Definitely worth a visit when visiting the Pontypridd and Treforest area.

Lovely hot Sunday lunch in the warm (snow had fallen) lovely beef dinner with a huge Yorkshire pudding. I had Christmas pudding and my wife had apple and blackcurrant crumble with custard. Highly recommend. Main was £15 and desert £6

In terms of customer service and friendliness of the staff I would give this place a 5/5. If you're going for just drinks then this place is great. However for food, I wasn't a huge fan. They were able to accommodate a big party at such short notice and I am very thankful for that but I would highly recommend booking in a dance as it is a busy place.

First time to come to The Otley for a while. Loved what they had done to the place decor wise. A bit disappointed that there were no guest beers on as we aren't fussed on Mabby beers. The food was amazing even though we had a really long wait. (Hour and a half) The chef had a night off!!! We had the burgers and mine had so many tastes and flavours peanut butter and Mabby Pink Jam. Burgers were Delicious too. I had loaded fries with Brisket and chilli. Delicious. The lady in charge was very good trying to keep us happy and even offered us a free round of drinks. Would go back but hoping for a few guest beers and a shorter wait next time.

Our first visit as a friend recommended the pub. We were very pleased with our visit. Lovely pub room which has been decorated very nicely. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the gin and the home made brew immensely. The price was such good value also. Definitely worth a visit. You can also book with your dog and they have a separate area for dogs to join you for dinner. We were very impressed. A must visit!

Absolutely gorgeous Sunday dinner, eaten here a few times now and cannot fault the food or service. Friendly, helpful staff and a great portion of yummy food. Excellent for vegetarians and dog friendly to boot. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Pleased that the pub was open during the pandemic. It was empty but we had a good welcome. The real ale was good. Only three stars as there was no atmosphere and the music being played was dire.

Such an amazing oasis in the middle of Treforest. The food was delicious and beyond expectations. 😁

Really pleasant visit with my daughter recently. The staff I believe to be the landlord and landlady were ever so friendly and attentive. Both our meals were first class. The fish and chips came with batter bits which were a great touch. The vegan burger was really tasty. Recommend the sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and custard. Definitely be going back.
