Today
we
went
in
to
buy
a
few
bits:
this
is
my
go-to
shop
for
toiletries,
gifts,
cleaning
products,
pet
accessories.
We
do
shop
here
a
lot
usually,
or
go
to
other
Homebargains
stores
in
the
area.
Usually
staff
are
very
efficient
and
friendly,
and
we
get
good
service
in
general;
but
today
although
the
error
was
corrected,
I
felt
that
perhaps
the
lady
serving
us
could
have
benefited
from
a
little
more
till
training:
she
scanned
a
product
twice,
but
she
didn't
check
her
till
roll,
and
scanned
again;
she
asked
if
we
wanted
our
receipt
to
which
we
replied
'yes',
and
she
quickly
folded
it
over
as
she
handed
it
us.
I
wasn't
sure
at
first,
if
she
had
over-scanned:
so
I
promptly
checked
my
receipt,
and
went
back
in.
It
was
busy,
but
we
were
told
to
put
the
item
to
the
side,
and
we
had
customers
giving
us
filthy
looks,
for
pointing
out
the
mistake.
The
manager
was
very
apologetic,
and
the
member
of
staff
became
apologetic.
At
the
end
of
the
day
it
was
resolved,
but
the
member
of
staff,
who
was
serving,
should
have
checked
to
see
if
it
had
double-scanned,
if
she
wasn't
sure.
