Super cute little spot, I have a gluten sensitivity and I was able to get a fried chicken sandwich! So crazy and awesome, everything tasted so good! The location right on the lake is also really cute, definitely well priced and a great spot for lunch!

Cult following is justified with these delicious chicken sandwiches! No inside seating; 2 picnic tables roadside & located on Gull Lake so you can dock and pick up your order. I love the chicken tacos!

It's a cool spot! I've been here twice and both times I've ordered the Nashville Hot, both times I've gotten the wrong sandwich and been served what I think is a Mother Clucker (with an egg). I'll try again, maybe in the third visit I'll finally get to try their Nashville Hot!

This place really hit the spot today when it came to a chicken sandwhich. I got the nashville hot chicken sandwhich, my mom got the cali chick. It was so good! I highly recommend this place. Also grabbed a chicken pot pie soup. Haven't ate yet, but after eating these samdwhiches. So good. Be aware. This is not a sit down restaurant. They have picnic tables outside. It is just too cold to be sitting out there.

Stopped on our way up from Indiana to Traverse City. MUST STOP. It was so good and the folks there were so friendly. If I could give more stars I would.

I got the Nashville Hot and it was pretty good! I'm not a fan of coleslaw, so I had that removed, but I definitely recommend adding bacon and American cheese. I gave it a lower rating for the atmosphere as the workers were nice, but it isn't very diverse in Gull Lake, so there was a lot of staring which made me very uncomfortable as I waited for my food.

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife wanted a Clucker sandwich for her birthday dinner, so knowing they stop serving food at 4PM I drove from Parchment to south Gull Lake through terrible Gull Road/Richland rush hour traffic. I arrived at Chicken House at 3:50, placed my order and was told “Sorry! We stopped serving food at 3:45 today” You’re kidding ,right? Nope, not kidding and wouldn’t make me 2 Clucker sandwiches even though the grill guy was cooking up a bunch of chicken. “Have a nice rest of your day” said the snotty little girl as I left. I will NEVER spend another dollar there or at Kitchen House or South Kitchen. A previous reviewer said “If you’re within 100 miles be sure and stop.” Just know that they might not be serving food that day, and, by the way, you cannot call them.

Outstanding food. Priced just right. Service was great. If you're anywhere within 100 miles, make the trip. Great comfort food. I like the Nashville hot. It has the juiciest chicken thigh nestled under that fried exterior. Layered with some coleslaw and that Nashville hot sauce.
