The restaurant name may say deli, but it should also be considered a diner in that they have all the great diner foods plus deli foods. We really enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely need to come back!

Walked out of Newks and straight to this Chappy’s. Wonderful service, came straight in and sat down wherever we liked. Kind service and accommodating. Phenomenal Food! Definitely underrated.

So disappointed in today’s breakfast. Portions were not only disappointing but insulting. Also blueberry pancakes tasted like flour and Whirl butter. Gross.

Well I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the egg, meat ratio to the bread was lacking. It was mostly bread. Bacon was good but no way were there 2 eggs on it. My husband got an omelette and he enjoyed it. He also raved about the Sawmill gravy! Guess that's what I get for ordering 5 minutes before breakfast ended?....I will try them for Lunch next time. Our Server was very attentive and sweet.

We were out running errands and popped in for a late (mid-afternoon) lunch. The restaurant was clean and attractive, with just a few customers while we were there. Our server was attentive and friendly. She brought our beverages right out and then took the rest of our order. We each had a yummy sandwich with chips and pickles. Portions were generous and the food was tasty and fresh. We had a positive experience and will come back again.

This place has a great family atmosphere and I believe that kids eat free one night a week with an adult. I think it is Thursday. They have both table and booth seating. Server and cooks offer great customer service. The parking is always easy, but watch out for speeding cars.

Excellent service from Owen. Laid back atmosphere but felt more like casual dining than a deli & I appreciated that. I enjoyed their seasonal menu & look forward to trying regular menu items in the future.

Our favorite local deli plus so much more! I’m from Montgomery so I have grown up with chappys. I tell all my friends and family about it and they love it too! Inexpensive but quality food and service. Family owned. Also love the free ice cream hehe :)

Nothing beats a deli/diner and Chappy's did not disappoint. One of the most friendly, outgoing, and down to earth servers and staff I've ever been around. The food was excellent. We've had breakfast and lunch from there several times and they are consistent in their service and quality of food. 10/10 Will be back.

If you have an odd aversion to good food and great service, then move along and don't stop. This is a place that shines in good, reasonably priced food and an atmosphere that makes you feel like a long-time friend of everyone who works there. It's probably my favorite spot in the Auburn-Opelika area. Granted, I haven't tried every restaurant because Chappy's gives me the best reason for stopping there. Go there for the food. Go there for the fast and friendly service. Just go there.

Our waitress was amazing and the food was fantastic! I definitely recommend the breakfast quesodilla. Picture is of our leftovers from the quesodilla and kids cinnamon rolls.

This is a greaT spot for a group breakfast or lunch! The food is great and comes out hot and fresh. Brandi is the best server and always remembers what you like to eat and drink. So much to choose from and there’s a bonus…a small cup of ice cream after your meal!

This place SLAPS! Went on a recommendation for sandwiches but I really wanted a salad. The Athenian Greek salad was perfection with their homemade vinaigrette. Fresh, crisp lettuce, and great toppings. At the end of my meal my waitress mentioned they offer a mini soft serve included and it was some of the best soft serve I’ve ever had?! Would come here just for ice cream at night if they were open late enough. I’m not from Auburn so I’m sure this is a known staple but so good and fabulous staff. Takarea was my waitress and she was the absolute sweetest!

My husband got a turkey Ruben and loved it. He ordered a stuffed egg on the side. He always eats one of those when we go. I got a regular Ruben. I hadn't eaten anything that day, so I decided to go for the double. They came in single, double, and triple size. It was delicious, and even though I ate the whole thing, I probably would just get the single next time. It was a lot of food! My sweet tea was good too. The staff was extremely nice also.

OMG. So we're not from the area and had never been through here but was looking for a quick bite to eat on the drive home. Home-run. This place has a deli menu with all of the favorites. Their loaded baked potato soup was fantastic. Room temperature so I could eat it right away, the texture was creamy, and it tasted so good. The sandwiches/wraps were fresh and filling. The seasoning and cookery was on point. The pickles were to die for. Spend the $1.50 for the extras. They offer to go drinks a mini ice cream cone at the end. The service was also fantastic. I didn't even have my drink half way gone and it was refilled. They also checked in just enough and brought out things we needed quickly. I can't wait to come back and it will be our place whenever we're down here!

Food quality was excellent. We had 2 orders of chicken and dumplings , and a Ham & cheese croissant. All was great.

I come to chappys all the time and love the place. I came here today with a group of friends and my french dip was cold, the cheese was not melted and the fries were freezing. My friends I came with also got each one of their orders wrong. I am super disappointed with Chappys this visit.

First time trying it my server Bailey was super sweet and nice. Love it will definitely be back. Food was Hot and Fresh and delicious. The free dessert was just the right amount. All the staff that I encountered was Friendly and Smiling 😃...

Love Chappy's. Last time I took my daughter, not even realizing that have a deal where kids 12 and under eat free with an adult entree. This was my second visit to Chappy's and they did not disappoint. Sandwich was amazing and the sweet potato fries were lovely.

Great lunch. Started hailing right as we were leaving. One of Chappy’s best employees, Austin, walked us to our car in that awful weather. Just being a nice young man. Thank you Austin. You are The Best!!!!

Food was so good! Waitress was amazing 👏. We will definitely be back! Prices were not bad at all, considering all places have increased their prices.

I walked in and the guy in the red shirt asked me how many I said one. He grabbed a menu and walked towards a table and threw it down. Didn’t say follow me or hear you go. That was a huge put off right away. While I sat there I saw him seat other people but said follow me and hear you go and actually talk to them. I guess I wasn’t worth his time but the waiter was awesome and friendly and quick. The food was decent. This would have been a 4 star but the manager or greeter guy really put me off.

Pretty good breakfast with great service. It was rather interesting that other worker besides our server approach our table who decided to have a conversation about tattoos. My husband graciously talked to her about them.

Food: My party and I ordered the conecuh scramble, steak and cheese omelet with bacon and a kids m&m pancake with bacon. Each dish was made to order and we nearly cleaned our plates. Service: We were immediately greeted upon entering the location and seated shortly thereafter. Overall our server was nice and the other staff members assisted with my table's requests when the server was busy. Atmosphere: What's not to love about Chappy's Deli? The restaurant was clean and there were sanitizing stations at the entrance along with sanitizing wipes at each table. While masks were optional for customers, all staff members wore a face covering of some kind. Recommendation: I highly recommend Chappy's and plan to visit this location in the very near future.
