Great first experience at Tony's! They were busy but kept the line moving and getting everyone served. The crew here knows their job very well. I got 4 hotdogs. A Tony Dog, Chili and cheese, Beef Sauce, and a chili slaw dog! Typical Bham skinny frank but the chili and beef sauce definitely set Tony's apart from others. The buns were steamed but not wet and falling apart. Their kraut they use isn't offensive in taste and doesn't take away from the rest of the toppings. Slaw was runny, which I like on my hotdog, but if you don't, you now know. The fries were cooked very well! Over all, for 4 dogs, a fry, and large drink to spend $16.81 it was well worth it and I'll definitely be back again!

Today was my first time visiting this awesome place. I was craving a homemade cheeseburger 🍔 and Tony's satisfied that craving. I saw the line outside the door and knew there had to be some homemade goodness inside. I live in Birmingham but I'll definitely be back. I wish was one closer.

The polish sausage is very good, I got mine with slaw and chili and it was great! They deep fry the sausage which is an interesting technique. It is a small place with a small menu, but seems like everything they have is good. Good location and it isn't too loud even though it is busy. They don't have wasteful packaging when you dine in which is great. Overall I enjoyed it a lot.

Absolutely positively the best there is. Always busy. That tells you all you need to know. You will not regret it. But you better be hungry. Because the serving is a lot. I have never gone back and edited a review but this is my first. If I could give Tony's more stars I would. Lunch, breakfast it's all excellent.

This was the second time I've eaten here. This time I was lucky enough to get some photos too. The food is spectacular. You know a place is good when the line extends past the door. You can't go wrong with a couple of jumbo dogs!

We went for the first time and we're very unimpressed. We made our way through the line to the register to be told we were supposed to have ordered already. There is no signage saying this and none of the employees attempted to take our order. Prices were outrageous for what you get. There were two of us and we paid $30 for lunch! We will not be back.

Located in the Southgate Village strip mall. A charming family owned diner with a staff filled with smiles and hospitality. The food is served hot with the taste of a classic home cooked meal. The food is typical of a diner but it's the combination of a hard working staff that keeps the regulars coming back for more.

Very traditional deli…friendly efficient staff. Loved the mix crowd and lively conversations going on. And the breakfast omelette was delicious, bacon well cooked, all great.

Absolutely awesome dogs and burgers joint. Always packed out. Great prices. Family owned and operated. I’m not sure you can beat their cheeseburgers, hand patted, and huge! This is a must eat here kind of place.

Spanish omelette was delicious, the employees were all kind and welcoming, and you could tell they had so many regulars because everyone coming in was catching up about their new baby on the way, their son's wedding later that day, etc. $12 for a huge breakfast and drink that was perfectly seasoned in every bite? Can't beat it. Can't believe it took me 3 yrs to get over here when I live so close!

This place is delicious and has been for years. It gets really crowded and runs out of space at lunchtime, but other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever. Love coming here after my dr appointments. Food is always great, and the bacon, so crispy so good

Saw this place for years but never went in. Finally had time so my wife and I decided to visit this place and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I love hot dogs and that was part of the reason I went. My wife got the chicken finger plate with 3 fingers. I on the other hand got two jumbo chili slaw dogs and a regular chili cheese dog. They were awesome. The people who ran the place were quick and so nice. The atmosphere is just inviting. It’s a little small but we were still able to find a seat even though it was slightly packed. Loved it and will definitely come back when I am over on that side of town again.

Best hotdogs and burgers in Alabama. There were 4 people working to get the order to me in just a couple minutes. Great fast service and the food was amazing. Highly recommend.

Great old diner atmosphere, feels like the people working there enjoy what they're doing which makes me enjoy being there. Also, a place you can get something to eat without breaking the bank and it tastes good too! P.S. would have given it 4.5 stars if I could.

The best food I have had in my lifetime. I even have my own menu items. Ask for AJ special for breakfast or lunch. They’re food is out standing you can’t go wrong with anything. Prices are great. Staff is friendly. Owners are present and nice. Nice clean environment.

A local person recommended the place and I decided to give it a try! We are from Florida on a camping trip so I might never make it that way again but I'm glad we tried it for lunch. The place was packed and the line was out the door but it went by pretty quickly. Great fries!! Just a perfect crisp to them. I also loved the juicy Bacon Swiss Burger!! Well done Tony's!
