1 of the only maybe few good things I can say about my experience About planet fitness would be mainly bc of this location specifically... If you want a friendly, diligent, and most importantly.. consistent clean environment, I'd highly recommend this location!! Everywhere youll go will preach cleanliness is their utmost priority but this specific location actually practices and follows through regardless if Sean(the gm is there or not which he's usually leading by example 99% of the time ). Couldn't Ask for better leadership nor staff At this specific location so keep up the great work yall

Open 24/7 only 4 days a week now. (unless you drive 30-40 minutes away, no respect given to the 3 south locations members, all three are closed early three nights a week) They can't have just one $10 an hour person sit and read a book at the front desk a few more hours a week? (like until 11 pm versus 7 pm) They also let all the high school and college kids have free memberships for the whole summer, packing the gym too tight.

I wish I could give a negative star. For what should have been a simple process, I tried cancelling my membership through phone explaining I moved across states, they told me to send letter to the actual gym address(this in late 20' or early 21'), I said ok and sent a letter thinking that it was cancelled, and recently I noticed that it has not yet been cancelled and still getting charged, by now its probably hundreds of dollars over the course of 2.5years, while not even using the service. This is madness. Absolutely will not recommend anybody this place and never again using PF service. I see that similar experience were shared with other people looking at the reviews...are you guys trying to make a fool out of us? We are tallking 2020-2022(now) thats 3 years of $300+/ yr, who know what extra fees they charged if they like stealing from people.

It feels so good to be back. The staff is always super friendly. I'm not sure why someone would choose Club Fitness (unless it's the only option around then I get it) if there's a Planet Fitness available...... Planet Fitness' size is much preferable ESPECIALLY during this Covid time.... Either way if you have the option you should choose Planet Fitness. 👍👍👍

Been going to this gym since it opened in 2016. The hours have not once changed and now is 24/5 and 7-7 on the weekend. The only reason I haven’t switched to the edge is because I like the 24/7 planet fitness offered. Guess it’s time to switch to the edge

He is caring ,funny and the crew seems to be happier.it is very important as a big company to have your customers feel important and that you took the time to listen. I had a very bad experience with this branch, I went back in September to cancel my membership and their employee told me that it's canceled, I asked if I need to do anything else he said no, he didn't explain that I should get a cancelation email since I didn't get an email when I joined the gym in the first place. In December I found that the gym has been charging me for 4 months after I supposedly have canceled my membership, I called them to complain then they canceled my membership for real this time, and refused to refund me, their manager Ashley was so rude to me on the phone and refused to refund me while it's their staff's mistake and it's a $100 not like a dollar or two. I wanted to warn people who deal with planet fitness and this branch in particular!

This Planet Fitness is great! I really needed to start eating right and going to the gym, and chose this location at random. I'm glad I did! The staff are always friendly, and the place is super clean. I see the employees cleaning constantly. The equipment is well kept, the other gym members have been respectful. I'm an early-bird, and I like that they're open before 5 am 4 days of the week so I can get in early and get my workout in. They're often open 15-20 minutes before the posted hours on weekend and Mondays to let members get a jump on the day. Awesome! I've made 105 visits to the gym thus far, along with a complete diet makeover, and I've managed to drop 55 lbs in that period of time. PF can't put the dedication and hard work in for you, but they can provide a clean and comfortable environment for you to get after your goals.

Super clean facility. Equipment always maintained. No classes( but maybe a trainer leading some?), no nursery , no loud body builders, no loud music, never too crowded. Get in and do your workout . My kind of place

This place was very good super clean, I’m traveling and I stop here last night I want to plant fitness 24 hours, was very dirty and everything was nasty ah my God , but today I want to this place it’s really amazing it’s really beautiful clean and staff friendly I want to tall the manager thank you for keeping this place clean always and thank you for Kelly, this girl she works here I sow her clean behind the costumer and she’s very friendly thank you.

I love this gym. The staff are super friendly. The gym actually does not smell like some gyms. The price is awesome as well. I get my workouts and I am on my way. They also have several machines here.

The reason for only four stars is the staff couldn’t be more disengaged if they tried! When I signed up over a year ago, the staff would greet you coming and going with big happy smiles. But their manager left a few months after I joined. Now, 90% of the time they are on their phones with their heads bent and couldn’t care less if you are coming and going. I sure don’t understand why there are 4 people behind the desk. Are they supposed to be meandering through the gym seeing if anybody needs help with the equipment, or structure a training program or cleaning or just be helpful? Not sure why you need 4 people to man the desk The gym is very clean the equipment all works flawlessly. The restrooms are always clean. There are lockers available in full view of everyone so the chance of theft is minimal. When you download the app you can have training videos for workouts. The numerous wall monitors are no longer flooded with music videos of scantily clad women in provocative dances. Thank goodness they got rid of that and now it’s extreme sports only which is thrilling to watch.

The staff is so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming. This is my preferred planet fitness location.

I’ve been going to this gym for about three years and the staff is always impeccable. Some of the nicest people that I had met. you need to plan your visits if you want to get on equipment some of the clientele they are getting very possessive and will take multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. Some people dare sit on the gym equipment while playing on their phones I tend to go early in the morning or later at night when there aren’t as many people there and I always get a pretty good workout.

If I could leave 3000 stars I would. I have been struggling with my weight for around eight years now which has made it difficult for me to even step foot in a gym. However today I bit the bullet and I am so glad I did. Lily and Willy, the two employees working the front desk were so incredibly kind it brought me to tears. Lily comforted me like we have been friends for years, and that is not something you ever expect from a employee. The support and encouragement Lily and Willy provided was what gave me the courage to finally start my fitness journey. I will forever remember their compassion, and I hope it is recognized amongst others.

The gym is clean, organized, and spread out. It has everything you can imagine to have a great workout. I will definitely come back any time I am in town. Simply amazing!!

The gym is fine But the customer service. It doesn’t exist. I have been unable to walk for the past two years and continually tried to cancel my membership while awaiting surgery to save much needed money. There is no way to cancel online, and there is no way to cancel over the phone. I was told the only way to cancel is in person. So, because I couldn’t physically walk into the location, - I was charged over and over and over for something I couldn’t physically use or stop payment of. This is still ongoing and I am just now getting to the point where I will be safe to drive myself. Meanwhile hundreds and hundreds of dollars of my money is going a company that continues to steal from me.the Better Business Bereau has been notified as of today

The trainers are so helpful and everyone is so welcoming. It always makes me feel great on days I am able to workout but it’s even better when it’s with such nice people in a positive environment.

I love this location! This Planet Fitness is very clean, fair priced, well kept, & up to date. I always have enough space to work out, I don't feel over crowded, & the staff is super friendly & great at greeting folks who walk in/out. (Lily & Drea are the best!) They are so nice & always have a smile on their face when I walk by. They give excellent & elite customer service. I am always pleased at this location & the general manager Shawn was really kind too. He was also knowledgable about any questions I had since I was a new member. Rock on, Planet Fitness - Shrewsbury! I can tell the employees take pride in what they do!

A good place to work out From beginners to relatively advanced. Probably not a great place for power lifters but the best value out there.

It's been a few months scene I been back. It's very clean and nice. Unfortunately non of the new treadmill has a TV that worked wife and I would find one here and there and just share a TV to watch the baseball or hockey games. So we kind of stopped going

They could do a better job at wiping down (cleaning) the tanning beds & floors. UGH!

On May 29, 2023, I had very unpleasant experience, the gym closed at 1 pm o'clock because of the holiday,so cut off was exactly at 1 o'clock they literally wanted to kick us out of the gym, the manager named Tyler didn't let me take a shower and change clothes, I couldn't go out all wet and sweaty, I have to take a shower, I live 35 minutes from there,this guy Tyler called law enforcement on me coz I wanted to take a shower, what world does he live in. Still can't believe what he did. I took shower by 13:15 and left. no matter when the gym closes, we still need a few minutes to shower and change, people like Tyler shouldn't be doing jobs they're not up to, let them heal their frustrations elsewhere, I hope that the owners will sanction such cases, there are many who are not satisfied with the behavior of the management, I called corporate today, they were busy, I will call them again when they open to protest such a behavior. I dont appreciate anyone's rudeness

Regularly when visiting this location you'll find people that don't understand that masks need to cover their nose to do anything. Last time I visited, there were 3 individuals that were wearing masks on their chin; not covering their mouths even. I brought this to the attention of the staff at the desk and they said they would have someone walk around and rectify the situation. Well, they were half right. They had someone walk around, but they walked right by all said individuals without saying a word. Seeing their indifference, I immediately cancelled my membership.

Best gym I've been to. It can get a little crowded during the peak hours. But, everything always is clean and the staff is very friendly

Just started going here and I'm really enjoying it. Really nice facility, all the equipment is really modern and well taken care of. They have plenty of lockers if you want to store anything and changing rooms and showers in the bathroom. If you're a black card member they have a spa area that has massaging chairs, tanning beds, and other amenities. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I found everyone to be friendly but not bothersome, everyone seemed focused on their workout which is a good thing. I go to the Watson location and I really like it. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good gym and extremely clean. Dylan at the front desk was able to help me get signed on and was thorough in his explanation of the gym and it's policies. I highly recommend this location and all others.

I love that this location has kettlebells! I go to 4 different locations throughout the week depending on day and time....variations in my schedule. This I believe is the only one with those or that I've noticed. All the locations are nice and cleaning....usually always see employees walking around cleaning while I am there.

Place is usually pretty clean and not a ton of people. You also get points every time you check in which allows you to buy things there like a drink or tshirt so that's nice.

This business has been charging my husband for months even after cancelling. We have called repeatedly and they lied that the refund is coming but we keep on getting charged. It is sad because I liked this gym a lot but management is a rip off.

more than anything about this gem of noticed staff is consistently very courteous and friendly I just about every location I've visited. The equipment is up-to-date and the gym is clean overall and doesn't seem overpacked

I came here over a year ago and I've been here ever since. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can't beat it for the price. Edit: What a difference a couple of years makes. Staff changes. Changed my bank and forgot to change with PF. Got a late fee. No worries. Manager has always been cool about waving the occasional $10 late fee. This new manager is something else. Decided that the $10 fee was more important than my membership of over 3 years. Evening staff is trigger happy with that "lunk alarm". They hear the slightest noise that sounds like dropping a weight and they sound it, particularly Holly. They are going to startle someone in the middle of a lift and cause an injury. Holly acts like she's doing some public service with that alarm. Club manager needs training as well. Congratulations. You just lost a 3 year member. I'm elsewhere now and couldn't be happier.
