I have stayed in this hotel for a total of 53 days this year. Everything is excellent. The rooms are clean and well decorated, the staff is mega friendly and the fitness center is top quality. I will continue to stay here as long as I have business in the area. The restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Everything I've had has been delicious (even the Food I don't normally like). I would definitely recommend staying here if at all possible.

I had a wonderful stay here! They truly value Titanium Elite benefits - got upgraded to a King Suite and free breakfast the next morning. The room was incredible, great view and modern room with Malin + Goetz toiletries. The rooftop pool was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast and eggs benedict was delicious, and the service was great

The hotel is centrally located in Clayton. The lobby is very nice with plenty of seating. The onsite restaurant is pricey, but the food is good and nicely prepared. The issue I have is with the rooms. For a 4 star hotel these rooms are tiny. There's hardly any space for a chair. They did their best with the design to utilize the space available. The bathroom is also tiny and has terrible lighting. The worst part is that the bathroom door is frosted glass so when you turn on the light in the bathroom at night it lights up the entire hotel room. The rooms are clean and the amenities are high end, but it's a tight squeeze if more than one person is staying in the room.

Another hotel that has a better than average fitness center/gym. The photos on the hotel website don't do it justice--has much more equipment than pictured (additional equipment in the attached photos). Extremely courteous staff and great food at the restaurant. Excellent location--within walking distance of many, many restaurants, etc. I didn't need to drive after I arrived. The only negative comment that I will add is that the shower floor was quite slippery--be careful.

At first, we had a “superior” room. However, it shared a wall with the service elevator and the ice machine, and was not quiet at all. Not what we would call a superior room! We went to a second room, which smelled like very strong bleach. So we tried a third room, and the toilet was broken and constantly running. The fourth room was finally good enough although there were several burned out lightbulbs and unplugged light fixtures, but we may do. (they did give us a $40 credit to use at the in- house restaurant. More on that next.) at the Ennis restaurant, we sat at the bar. However, Jordan, the bartender, was quite short, tempered and seemingly rude. she ordered other staff around and didn’t make for a nice atmosphere for the guests. she ordered other staff around, and didn’t make for a nice atmosphere for guests. she was giving free drinks to someone in our right and low price drinks to the people on our left, but then charged us $20 for a shot of tequila to fix a beverage that I told her didn’t taste right. She also didn’t know how to make classic drinks (like a boulevardier). Our waters were also constantly empty and we had to ask for refills. The food was tasty though! Overall, not a pleasant experience!!

This hotel is definitely in of my top 5 hotels to stay at in St. Louis!!! I checked in with no problem Wednesday for the first time ever at this Clayton location and was greeted as soon as I got out the car. The man took my bags and placed them by the check-in counter. The lady at the front desk kept a smile on her face and treated me with respect. The check-in process was fast! My room was clean, artsy, and had a peaceful view of the city. The gym is one of the best I’ve even used and the cleanest in a hotel. The view was amazing on the 15th floor too as I worked out. The food was 4/5🔥🔥🔥 and the staff at the bar made great suggestions and held good conversation. Even the janitors, housekeepers, and valet spoke and made you feel welcomed. I went down at 4 in the morning to extend my stay and the overnight manager James was amazing. He was patient and kind and made sure he answered every question I had. The next night a concert was in town and I witnessed him single handedly handle a crowd and trouble shoot issues like a real professional. This was one of the best few days and stays I’ve had in years! Le Meridien should be on your list ASAP if your in St. Louis or visiting. Lovely hotel. Friendly service and smarty designed rooms. The bathroom was also very nice and appeared recently renovated. The hotel is also dog friendly.

Located in Clayton, one of the nicer neighborhoods in St. Louis, this hotel definitely is a great starting point for exploring the city. The lobby is on the smaller side, but check in counters were easy to find, not too long of a wait, and welcoming. Small little bar and dining area further back in the hotel (think more rectangle than square). The hotel itself is decent sized, not too large or small. Rooms were easy to find, elevators took you up quickly and not much of a wait (not sure about occupancy level). Rooms were modern enough, not freshly renovated but also not due for renovation either. Decent sized rooms - views are OK but you're in Clayton. Not the most picturesque area... Amenities were fine - of the ones I tried. Internet worked well. Plenty of wall plugs. Bath products got the job done. Definitely a place I would go back

We originally had reservations at another facility but changed our minds about it and decided to stay at this hotel. We surely made the right decision and from checking in and out everything was awesome. Side note : they offered us passes to Art museum which was included with our room at no extra charge. Very clean an efficient hotel

Second stay at this hotel. First was a few years ago. They have definitely improved things since then. The service is top-notch. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The rooftop pool has a resort feel to it. Jordan who was our server was professional and very pleasant. I recommend the Mocha-Chata nightcap! Also, the location is in short walking distance to downtown Clayton, Mo. We will return upon our next trip to St. Louis/Clayton, Mo.

Quiet part of town. Numerous restaurants nearby. Excellent service from the front desk. Kelly in the bar was friendly and very knowledgeable. Well appointed room; a bit small, but I was alone. Very nice view from the floor to ceiling windows.

Check in and the room is/was amazing! I really appreciated Daniel C. up at the front desk for check-in. He was polite, courteous, and got a good laugh or two out of us! Really went the extra mile and provided us a list of local restaurants. Looking forward to our stay here and checking things out in the STL area!!

The Meridien is the kind of hotel that reminds you why hotels are wonderful in the first place. Every part of our experience exceeded expectations -starting with the decor which is a modern Art Deco that mixes comfort and luxury. The pool is a great size, with a massive lounge area full of recliners, couches, and even a spa water section. Extremely attentive staff are available for every question you have and always on hand to offer a beverage. It felt like they truly wanted us to have an amazing stay. The food was surprisingly delicious for hotel fare, and affordable enough that we were able to order room service multiple times. The rooms were spacious, with very comfortable beds, views of downtown, and luxurious bathrooms. In short, this experience was so good that I wrote my first Google review about it. I wish we never had to leave!!

Beautiful hotel with parking on-site. Rooms are lovely and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Only downside to the rooms is the lighting. There was no good place to put on makeup.

Back again! Another lovely and fabulous stay at the Le Meridien in Clayton. This newer to the area hotel boasts the ultimate luxury and modern stay for any visit to the STL area. Upscale accommodations in the room make it a wonderful weekend escape! Treat yourself to the king suite that is perfect for relaxing with a separate living room and a spa like bathroom. This family friendly hotel goes above and beyond to create a unique experience during your stay. Ask about the tent experience if you’re traveling with kids. Kudos to Guest Services Manager, Gerald, and all the staff for creating another memorable stay!

My room was tiny for the price. Parking was extra. But hotel is clean and modern and staff were fantastic. Recommended

Room that we were given had obvious quality control and cleanliness issues. Clear obvious dust on top of and behind bathroom mirror. White questionable staining on the seat in room. Sticky shiny stains on the nightstand ad so on. Bathrooms are super tiny. Barely above a Holiday Inn Express. Needs better management and a higher standard of cleaning and attention to detail.

Convenient, downtown Clayton location for this upscale hotel. They provided a nice brunch for our party on the pool deck, but for some reason didn't choose to use the portable heaters readily at hand to deal with the 60 degree morning temperature. That was an opportunity missed.

We enjoyed the staycation except the hotel advertised room service and then it was not available for the whole weekend. It was also interesting to be in a hotel mainly catering to business people and only have coffee service in the room. The room was nice but was definitely for a business person to stay in, not really for a couple or family vacation.

I visited the hotel to meet up with some work colleagues and the hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and able to assist me with getting to the room and how to get to the elevators so i could get to colleagues room. The lobby was very nicely furnished and modern. They have valet services, and there is an attached parking garage for those visitors that have cars. My colleague’s room was very nice. There wasn’t a refrigerator to keep food or drinks cold in the room. There was a desk and office with in room wifi. Amazing views of downtown St. Louis. We were able to see the arch from the room my colleague was staying in.

Came here to stay on my wedding night. Person at the front desk didn't explain anything at check in. An employee barged into our room at 10 am(checkout wasnt until 12), my husband and I were not decent and didn't even get a chance to open the door before someone barged in. Hallways were extremely loud and kept us up all night and it didn't help we were right above a very noisy pool. Very disappointing wedding night.

Was here on business for a few days. Comfortable and clean rooms that are up to date and clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Food service was very good and staff was attentive and efficient. Daily housekeeping was a plus. Not a great location to restaurants and such but found several within walking distance of a few blocks. Overall a good value.

I just had to give a shoutout to Mirsada from the hotel's restaurant🎉 Every time I went there for work, she made us feel so at home with her super welcoming and friendly vibes. It's the little things that count, and she definitely knows how to create a positive and memorable experience. Big thumbs up to her and the awesome team at Le Meridien!

Whenever I'm in St. Louis this is my first choice hotel. Recently was there for several days and experienced exceptional service from a couple folks on property. First, Tom, the bell hop was amazing! It was a busy day with several cars blocking the main area at the front of the hotel. We were about to check in and had to park off to the side. Tom recognized this and walked several hundred feet to greet us and apologize for the inconvenience. It may not sound like a lot, but it was really unexpected and showed that he focused on top notch service and ensuring that we had help with our bags. Over the next several days we would see him sporadically and he was always super friendly with a big smile on his face. Also, Corinthian, in their restaurant went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. She was super friendly and helpful which made our breakfast experience so much better. Thank you again to both these amazing folks at the Le Meridien.

That hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I don't think I have one bad thing to say about it. They're style is so modern and chic. I absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay in St. Louis and I'll definitely be returning!

Had a 2 room suite, very nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly and said Hi whenever they saw me or my wife. Good location in Clayton. Good restaurants nearby and Starbucks 4 blocks away.

Amazing hotel in a wonderful location. This is a great property with awesome staff and amenities. Very clean, updated and fun. It's located in a very quiet area that's still accessible to everything. The food at the bar is fantastic and worth stopping by for alone. If you do, make sure you meet Jordan. I travel weekly and she is hands down the nicest and most amazing service professional I have ever come across. This place is a must stay. Enjoy St Louis!

The rooms are a bit small, but up to date and extremely nice. The TV was awesome. Large screen, incredibly clear picture, and equipped for streaming. Great, friendly service, especially Ray at Cafe La Vie, the hotel restaurant

Great place to stay! Just don’t eat at the restaurant! Chicken fricasse awful, flavorless and dry! Red rice was hard! Not edible! Tried to discuss with manager, and she could care less! Yuck

If you're staying in St. Louis and want a better alternative then downtown (which can be a bit desolate) you should consider downtown Clayton. This is a great new (at least newly renovated) hotel that gives The Ritz Carlton a run for its money. The room was brand new, so its hard to find any faults, but it was super comfortable and had everything I needed. I stayed over the holiday so it was a bit quiet, but the staff was fantastic and friendly and made me feel at home. Check-in with Daniel was efficient and professional and meals with Angela in the dining room was such a pleasant experience. I loved the little coffee bar for their quick bites on the go. Definitely staying here for my next visit.

Just stayed at the LeMeridien Clayton for my son's wedding. We stayed 4 nights. The staff were very accommodating for all our needs. Valet service was quick and polite. All the staff were very polite and helpful. My only complaint was the bathroom in the standards king room and the fact they had no dresser to unpack. I had a lot of luggage do to all the events we were attending during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was beautiful. The Cafe and bar were nice but they did not have enough staff working and it took awhile to get drinks and food. The food was amazing and the bar and Cafe staff were very polite. I would stay here again if it was a short trip.

This place looks fresh and modern, but where it counts it comes up a little short. Our bathroom was super tiny and the lighting in it was horrible. Given this is a recent remodel the designers failed. The bed was nice, but the room didn’t even have a mini fridge which is a surprise. The little espresso coffee machine was good and giving a couple of bottles of water per day is a nice touch. Our restaurant experience was less than satisfying our main dish fish dish of the day it was really quite poor, but the French onion soup was excellent

Our stay was exceptional except the last day we encountered the service manager (Gerald Rhône). We explained we have a family member with a medical condition and our flight was at 6pm, If it was possible to have a late checkout and he rudely declined us. Telling us we should’ve requested when we checked in. Other staff members we had encountered with throughout our stay spoke very lowly of him and expressed to us how he has a racial issue. I have no negative thing to say other than Gerald Rhône.

Rooms are clean and functional, but small. Service is impeccable! The Breakfast buffet is really good. Pool is a vibe...Location is on point due to close proximity to anything you need (stores), highways, and even readily available street parking.

Follow up to original review: The manager of Le Meridien reached out to me following my Google review and was exteremly professional, helpful, and caring. I appreciate the concern and genuine interest he expresed in the challenges I had with my stay. Original: Le Meridien was formerly a Sheraton, and while the makeover is nice and the hotel is clean, the small rooms do not warrant a premium price. My wife and I were most disappointed with the lack of soundproofing of the room. We heard door knocks, room service, doors closing, people in the next room talking, etc. So I tried to turn on the air unit fan; however, these are designed to shut off without motion detection. I had an engineer check it out, but he said it was working as designed. We checked out late in the evening without staying one night because of the noise, and we are extremely disappointed.

I can't say enough amazing things about the Le Meridien! It was the perfect atmosphere for our wedding weekend! We got married in November 2020 and had a wedding of 10 people in Forest Park. It was not the day I imagined and it was a cold and rainy day. The staff made my day by surprising me with a breakfast platter and mimosas! It made me feel so special on a day that I was excited for but a little bummed about the circumstances. For our wedding in October 2021, our guests loved the staff, atmosphere and drinks! It set the tone for an incredible weekend! The rooms are beautiful and make for great getting ready photos! One thing I wish was different was the way our welcome bags were handled. Not many of them were passed out and we ended up taking quite a few home with us. Although we will not have a 3rd wedding, we cannot wait to stay here again!

Beautiful place to stay at. Great service from the staff, which always made us feel welcomed. I recommend higher floors for the amazing view. Room service is on point, we requested something on the Marriott app and room service brought it up to us within minutes. The restaurant at the lobby was a nice addition to our experience. Plus, there are other options within walking distance of the hotel if you fancy something different. Keep in mind there is no microwave or mini-fridge in the room if you decide to bring food back with you for later. We didn't get to enjoy the pool on our last day because of an event reservation. Will definitely stay here if I'm ever in town again.

Lovely hotel! Our room was tiny but it had everything we needed for a night out. Went to the bar before our Uber arrived and our bartender was great. I loved her personality and my drink was amazing. Check in and out was fast and easy. Hotel was very clean and bed was comfy. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
