Poor service. Needed help with 200lb weight bench and cut myself trying to get it myself after trying to get help for 20 minutes. Took my bench up front with the price tag on it. I used a pallet jack left alone on the floor to drag it up to the registers. I have a bad leg in recovering from and a service dog to help me get around. After passing employees with a pallet jack and service dog, no one cared to assist me. Once I got to the registers, I was told the price was $250 vs the 78 dollars on the ripped box that was under clearance. Front end manager didn't seemed bothered by the fact that I had to drag the fkn bench over 100lbs to the front by my self or the cut on my hands that I got trying to get it on wheels after getting help from other kinds customers that saw my service dog. She was more interested in disputing the price with me instead and offered her best at 20 dollars more off of the clearance item with the broken box. No other help was offered not even a word about the blood on my hands and on the box. This is the worst experience I've had at a retail store and the lack of concern for my health or customer satisfaction was an eye opener. It's not my responsibility to make sure the price are set properly on an item in the aisle nor is it up to me to help myself to bring an item that obviously needs team work to lift to the front registers.

This Walmart has become unprofessional, disorderly and ghetto. The workers are teenagers with attitudes. The mangers are never seen. The fruit selection always look inedible, old and out of date with nets flying around them. Every time I come there shelves always empty to no items available. Seems as if the restock takes forever to be stocked. Overall very ghetto !!! Not to mention shoppers leaving their kids unattended , constant theft and employee drama. I don’t recommend this shopping center a place to shop at.

Nearly everything is locked up. Had to find an associate just to unlock the case to purchase socks. Was then followed to checkout and, WATCHED by both the security and associate. I shouldn’t need to be MONITORED having only socks and apple juice. Was not a pleasant experience. Target has my money next time.

I honestly cannot say, how happy I am with the service I receive at Walmart. However, this time, I received excellent service at the Granite City location in Granite, IL. Cashier was polite, professional and friendly. She knew her job and did it well. Don't know her name but she was exceptional. Store was well stocked and most of all organized. Thank you Walmart for a good experience!

It's big box, has a few items I can only find there. Choose your times carefully. Almost exclusively self-checkout, so make sure every item is tagged.

It's management and it is also the atmosphere. Your employees just treat this like another day in the life. I'm not saying they should feel ecstatic to work here but I should not be able to tell that they hate it here. Get managers that actually care. When the workers see and know someone they can respect, I promise you that this particular WalMart will flourish again. Unfortunately corporate does not care enough to implement anything drastic needed for things to improve. Asset Protection(the ones that come to visit the store) should not be telling people how to do their jobs. They are out of touch about everything. Get better managers and be more selective when it comes to the hires. This WalMart has one of the highest, if not the highest, turnover rate in the area. Possibly Missouri.

Restroom not clean. Some produce was both spoiled and overpriced. I did receive good service locating capers, which were available and reasonably priced. Also, it seems safe enough. So D+ instead of F. With some attention they could move up to a C or better. Let's hope so. It's conveniently located.

I shopped at this location 2 weeks ago. I shop for myself, an elderly parent, and a disabled relative. So I purchase a lot at 1 time. The bascart is full top to bottom. I'm over 65 and once I place large items on the bottom, I don't remove them until placing in the car. The lady that waited on me was on her phone the whole time that she was checking me out. She actually voiced her displeasure with having to bend over, lift items to scan. For I'd not placed them for her to easily scan without having to lift or and turn them over. She told the person that she was speaking with " about having to lift, break her back for something that wasn't for her/hers...do her any good". I've never been so disgusted and disrespected!!! Where do you get these employees from???

I found my items in the electronics section at 6:15pm, and asked Jonathan to check me out. He replied, "In a minute." in a rude tone. So, I went to the messy register counter and waited. After four of those "minutes", I decided to stand at the end of the aisle until Jonathan brought his bad attitude and his stupid hat over to take my money. Something positive - the store seemed generally clean.

I mean… what can you expect from a busy Walmart location?! Snappy attitude from most of the female associates, the most used line here is: “if you don’t see it, it’s out of stock or it’s probably being unloaded from the truck”, or “that’s the new policy” from the Walmart Customer Service Department. Yet still… it’s one of my fav’s in the STL area lol. #5150!!!

Nothing ever change with this GHETTO WALMART SUPERCENTER!! Really, the purest form of negative atmosphere, with NO customer service minded employees!!

This store was by far the nastiest cluttered store ever, associates walking around on their phones with ear buds in. So many buggies full of merchandise just left. Self check outs were filthy! I know construction is going on but pull ur life together and clean up the store! Went down one isle and 4 employees were playing toss with items, cursing and laughing!

I prefer Target and Schnucks over Walmart. You get no assistance from cashiers or workers. It looks very trashed inside the store. You can't find anything. The layout is horrible. The paint job outside the building is very tacky.

Only 7 of 23 self check lanes are functional. The rest have closed and malfunctioned. Chronic inability or refusal of store management to sufficiently staff cashiers to make up the difference. Every time I come here a new set of items are locked away in cases. Finding an associate with keys is a minor miracle occurance. Have just decided to pull the plug and no longer shop here. WalMart corporate needs to start firing executives and Academy Store directors who come up with this nonsense, but they're not going to because of a few extra points on the profit margins that they've determined are worth consistent customer frustration.

It was busy like usual when I visited. They didn't have some of the things I went in for, like the largest Arm & Hammer laundry detergent, but that was ok. A lot of their checkout lanes with cashiers were removed and replaced with self checkout lanes. It made the lines take longer, because a lot of the older people were struggling with scanning, bagging, and paying. They didn't ask for help until they struggled for a long time and it was not offered at all by the employees. The employees just stood around and talked as if the lanes weren't backed up.

Sucks that we have minimal personal attention from cashiers. Granted, there's always a lane open through self-checkout.. wonder what my w-2s will look like at the end of the year?😆

Employees could not be bothered. Worst shopping experience of my life. Would give it 0 stars if it was an option. Save the headache and drive to a different Walmart.

The guys were over worked while other employees in store just walking around. My service was great even though I had to wait 2 hours. Very respectful and courteous. I am 76 and appreciate that.

I was there very, very early, like when they opened, and the cashier that assisted me in checkout was phenomenal!! Her energy was so pleasing!!! There was another cashier in the lane next to her and I tell you, it was like we'd known each other all of our lives!!! They had no idea of what I was going through that day!! My son, who passed 2 years ago that day, had me an emotional wreck!!! But, I BELIEVE GOD put them on the right place at the right time!!! I only hate that I didn't get their names!!!!! They were 2 African american women. I was checking out just after 7am, with a cart full of items, as I am a caterer!!! My cashier told me her birthday was in Aug!! I just want you all to find them and acknowledge them for superior customer service!!!

I get all the staples i need here. We were used to going to a bigger supercenter that has everything! This one just as well supplied, full shelves and clean. I also notice an active mall security car in the parking lot and this means a lot to us. We also frequent the pharmacy and they're cheerful and quick to finish transactions. However i notice slower service recently due to manpower issues

Placing a pickup order is a joke at this location. Be prepared to wait 30+ minutes to get your order. They don’t answer the phone number, people who get there after you will get your order and then they’ll claim to not have your order. They have lost 3 of my orders, this will be the last pickup order I will be placing

DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA at the Hanley Walmart Auto Service Center in St Louis, MO this morning. I was first in line at 6:30am for an oil change. They open at 7. BUT their mechanic can't drive a stick shift so he was just gonna dismiss me. I'm not allowed to pull it in and their boss won't be in till 11. So when I come in at 11, I'll be first served, right? NO! No guarantee for that. It's first come first serve. Well...I was first come. Totally rude and dismissive. So I left. And I left my car in front of his bay. I walked around the building to speak with the Walmart store manager. By time I got there he had cut through the store to the front. After explaining the situation to the manager, he said, "Yeah, if we can't drive a stick shift now, then she's first up when we can." I just looked at this young boy and said, "See, how hard was that??" Then I walked around the store again back to my car. I told him that I'd move my car after I'm done registering (again) so I'm in the system when the manager arrives. He blew a gasket and threw a hissy fit. He walked off the job, got in his hot rod, peeling out through the neighborhood as he drove away. Albeit, my car probably isn't safe to return to this location. Unless of course he's fired, because everyone else that was waiting had no mechanic on site now. DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA

i have mixed feelings about this walmart. it’s the only walmart that i have EVER been to that the workers were at all times friendlier than the customers. i’m from out of state and i try to be kind to everyone i meet, but at this walmart store, everyone was especially upset and impatient. i got no smiles back, no i’m sorry or excuse me. this is not walmarts fault, but this is the only location in town i’ve noticed this happening.

The Super Center is amazing to me. If I don't find what I want, I can substitute most of the time. I always want to go to this place, the staff are very polite and helpful. This is what I remembered when I worked at Ventures, politeness, courtesy and smiles.

Overall, very good. I do wish they would open more lanes or maybe have a lane at each end for 10 items or under. I feel that would be helpful for all

Theft? Someone took my cart earlier this week. Had 2 frozen foods and my personal sweater. Has not been found. Many empty spots on shelves. Clothing items without tags. Softlines is a confusing mess. 2/3 of employees have poor social/customer service skills. 2 stars for prices and short queues. I don't have Target money in this economy.

I love ❤️ the way they remodeled. The aisles are much wider and you can get two carts down them. I wish they would have more lines open with cashiers. There's more self checkouts then cashiers. But, I appreciate the fact, that there's more room to walk. You have to learn the store, as things have moved, I guess for the better.

There were many shelves inadequately stocked. No frozen potatoes. Restrooms were clean and staff was helpful. Thank God they opened more lanes to check out as I was exhausted from the seek for groceries!

The worst off all Walmarts. Very rude employees, more interesting in chatting with each other then helping a customer. I was also yelled at by a male employee because I told him that price was different on the shelf then what was showing on a cash registered. Never coming back…

😠 Creative names/gimmicks with extremely mediocre flavor, bad aftertaste and overpowering sweetness. If you want to spend the money and consume the empty calories there are many better donuts to eat close by. Very pricy but does not deliver. It is a Walmart doughnut decorated by a 3rd grade craft fair...
