OMG! What can I say but simply amazing. Everything I ordered was so fresh and amazingly delicious. The customer service was superb. They explained the entire menu to me and the owner made me feel so welcomed. This is definitely the number 1 Jamaican restaurant in Savannah.

I’ve been to plenty of Jamaican restaurants in different states and this is by far the BEST!!! The flavor is amazing. Ive only had the oxtail, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. However, I’m sure everything else is just as flavor-able. A must try place!!! I will be back ;)

Visiting Jamaica Taste was truly an experience to remember. The vibe and music was nice and inviting. Customer service was impeccable. But the food was AMAZING! I had the Rasta Pasta with a side of Cabbage & Carrots. I was able to enjoy every bite as it was full of flavor. I will definitely visit again and get this dish and try other dishes as well. The next time I will add my dishes!

We took a Uber to come here. I shared the pictures with my wife and we just decided to hop onto a Uber. We were not disappointed. We loved everything about the food. She order the jerk chicken wings and rice and bean and cabbage. I ordered the Fricassee Chicken, rice and beans and cabbage. The all order was out of this world and the manager and his wife came to our table. Really authentic Jamaican food. If I can come here everyday, I will.

Mr. A was a phenomenal customer service rep. he made sure I had everything I needed and he had such a great attitude. The food was delicious, so no complaints there. The service was actually pretty fast for him to be by his lonesome. I definitely recommend if you’ve never tried Jamaican food and if you have it’s still worth a try. I’ll return for another plate, you better believe it !

My name is Christopher. First let me say, the level of friendliness when I called to order my food. Impeccable. I ordered 3 large Oxtail plates. Two with rice and peas and Mac and a cheese. The other, rice and peas and cabbage. It was ready in 20. When I get there I’m immediately welcomed and thanked for being there, I give the amazing woman my name, she tells the Kitchen that “Christopher is here”, I pay and step to the side to wait. A few moments later she calls my name and shows me each plate one by one and when I tell you my mouth watered and my jaw dropped at how amazing it looked and smelled. She packaged it up and said “Christopher, here at JamaicanTaste we ask our customers of two things; 1. to please leave a review and 2. please come again” Best experience ever. Now on to the food, look at the pictures and tell me that’s not just the most amazing looking food. The taste was even better!!!!! Oxtails were so juice, the flavor was amazing! The rice and peas were doing what needed to be done and with the sauce too! And that Mac and cheese was Mac and cheesin!!! The cabbage was on point too! I cannot wait to come again and try the Rasta Pasta next. You will not regret it!!

Amazing service & Amazing food!! First time having authentic oxtails! It was delicious! The food was so hot (fresh)! I could tell that everything was made with so much love! I live in Cali so I will definitely be back next time I come to Savannah!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

The food was so good! Everything was flavorful. We had oxtail and curry chicken. And a few sides. Maybe give more mac and cheese. That’s the only thing. The owner and the cashier were nice and inviting. They had music playing in another side and I liked that. Try the food here, you will be happy! Most people were getting to go. There are only a few tables to sit.

Outstanding Food! Very nicly arranged, so many flavors, just amazing! We got the Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas and the bananas, and a beef stew with plain rice and a mix of corn and peas. As tourists from Germany we were looking for something special besides all the common stuff you get in US next to a Highway. And we found it. Also soooo friendly people working there!! Alex at the counter was so nice and welcoming! The chef himself came out for a chat, unfortuaetly they where out of goat for the order we placed, but he scraped the last pieces for tasting and offered a beef stew instead, which was also so tender and flavorish. We definitly recommend to get some food at this place, and also appreciated the friendly atmossphere.

He was very welcoming & professional. The service was excellent considering he’s by himself in there. I went for the red snapper but he was sold out so I decided to try the fresco chicken & it was nice combination of sweet & sour on a chicken. I definitely be back again

Found this spot driving past it and stopped one day to check it out. Nice and clean inside with a welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted at the counter and was given some great suggestions. The menu was easy to read and after I ordered my food came out shortly. The smell was amazing and when I got home to eat it, it hit all expectations. Great portions and friendly service. I am definitely coming back. The oxtails were amazing. The plantains were sweet savory and melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this place!

It was my first time eating Jamaican food. The food was very delicious. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere was very nice. I will definitely come again.

We had a fantastic meal. Everyone was so friendly. There were 4 of us in our party. We all got something different and we all loved what we ordered. This will be on our list every time we visit Savannah!

My husband and I came in for some Jamaican food, he’s really picky with his ox tails - we figured with the reviews it would live up to the hype. &’ did it??? Baby that food SMACKED Ox tails were AMAZING and the jerk chicken 1000/10 (we didn’t even talk we just ate it was that good) Service was great too! He introduced us to some Jamaican juice and it turned out to be sooo good too. He even faced the fan towards us so we would be comfortable eating here! (Small gestures go a long way) He was knowledgeable and super friendly, funny too. Overall amazing experience will be coming again! And we live in Hinesville so that tells you something. Get in when you can don’t miss the opportunity. The reviews are legit baby. 😩

Best Sat soup so if u missed it try next week, best goat soup and awesome service . Jerk chicken and rice and peas with cabbage was great too! Well seasoned and again the reception is iconic!!
