I played two experiences here before: Seekers of the Shard and Deadwood Valley. Both games were a ton of fun and extremely enjoyable with the friends and family I went with. Justin was very friendly and helpful getting us setup, and the whole staff went even going as far as ensuring our VR goggle lenses matched with our prescription lenses! I really appreciated the highlight reel after the games and the option to download it.

This was my 5th time at the Richmond location and the first 4 times were awesome. This time however game glitches ruined our experience. Room boundaries were not calibrated and would disconnect players when we were not near boundaries. When looking at other players- they were distorted or had arms sticking out their backs. The guns that we paid extra for did not work and game had to be restarted multiple times to “fix” and or replace guns. We were told that the batteries needed to be changed. Game was probably restarted 4 times and still glitches were going on and guns not operating properly. Staff was aware of the issues and only after complaining did we get 20%off our game. While watching our video at end we heard over the speaker they were offering 20% discounts for next bookings…lol not much of an offer for our poor experience. Not sure if our group will be going back. The one at Kingsgate Mall is closer to us.

The store itself is well-organized, and the VR equipment is top quality. I had a blast trying out the different VR games, and I was impressed by how immersive and fun everything was. Ivanka also made sure I was comfortable with the setup and helped me get the most out of my time there.

I went to this place for the first time today after only finding out about it yesterday lol. It was one of the best times in my life, the customer service was amazing, we were greeted by this very nice man, i wish i cought his name. me and my mom tried the squid game experience. It was so fun and interactive and super easy to understand the rules as they are explained very thourally. The man that greeted us also went through everything with us, made sure our equiptment was on correctly and was very thoural and polite about it. at the end we got to see our highlights and it was so fun and entertaining, best place to go if your in the richmond area. side note: same guy drew a chromakopia album cover on a sticky note, my mind is blown i asked if i coupd have it expecting hed say no, but he gave it to me. im keeping it safe its going on my wall. fantastic place, 5 stars!!!!🤯😎🥳

Very nice setup and graphics. Only thing we didn't like is the fact that in the game we picked you never move locations throughout the game, you're always in a living room environment so it gets boring after a while. Also, the game itself is fairly short, around 20-25 min and you're done. Would like to go back to try a different game.

The staff there is super friendly and helpful. We tried the Squid Game VR game, it was so much fun! Lots of screaming and laughing during the game play, and make sure you keep hydrated after the exciting game :)

We had a lot of fun. There were some complications, but we warned about it with the particular game that I had selected for our group. I really had my heart set on that game, so we risked it. It was definitely an unforgettable experience. I've shared the video on social media, and I've shown friends who have not seen the video. They are very interested in attending the next VR session.

Had a lovely experience here at Sandbox VR. The immersion into the world was lovely from the headset, but what was truly nice was the haptic feedback from the vest, the capture detail from your hands and legs, and the wind from fans that helped immerse you into the setting. The staff were quite friendly, helpful as they troubleshooted for my friend whose gear wasn't working quite right at the beginning. I appreciate the 3 video clip highlights provided at the end where we got to see the hilarity ensue as we played. Although the price is up there in comparison to the time played, Game Played: Squid Game

Sandbox was a really fun family experience (you are only allowed 6 ppl at a time per room). It’s a unique VR experience but you really do feel immersed and there is a really cool segment if it is your birthday. The equipment is a little heavy, so probably better for teens and older. It is also a little bit expensive since you only get half an hour in the room, but it is a very unique experience so makes it worth it. They also give you a really cool video to keep at the end. We would not do this often, but definitely fun and a must try! We did the Amber Sky experience and enjoyed it. Just remember that what you’re saying, and doing is being recorded so will be in your video :)

Kinda disappointed. Game quality wasn't great and you couldn't move much out of the room. Felt restricted. ZeroLatency is much better.

Was pretty cool. Played Deadwood mansion. The zombies were very intense and the experience was almost too realistic. The only negative I can say is the price is quite high for the gaming time you get but the equipment is decent so I would pay the full price and play again.

The place in itself is great, good props and games. Firstly they cut short our time because they needed sometime to set up the game and props, which is not something that’s a customer fault. And worst is, during one of my last visits, we faced that the game for one of us was not even working. It got stuck, and they have asked us to not remove the gear/headset and just raise a hand to indicate a problem. I don’t think the lady that was operating our game was even listening to it, and out of 1 hour of play time we lost 20-25 mins for such a costly game play, due to their negligence. On reporting it later; they said it can be a glitch or prop issue, but we wont be able to do anything. And for the delayed start we apologize. I’d recommend going to Evolve or Zero Latency in Vancouver and not waste your money here.

It was a lot of fun and sweaty! They provided 3 highlighted videos(including your zombie dancing), so you can show off on social media. Recommend the Zombie game and bringing more friends. Only 2 of us to kill all the zombies was too tough but more exciting lol Kudos to the staff. They were very patient and explained things well. Monitoring and troubleshooting immediately during the game.

I highly recommend you come here with your baby boomer parents and millennial siblings for some, not so typical, fun family time. It was VERY realistic. You turn your sword as your character and you see the glimmer on the metal blade as you rotate your wrist, so cool. The staff help put your gear on, if you were doing this for hours, I could see how your neck might get sore from moving around with the headset, the eye piece isn't heavy but takes getting used to if you played for a long time. We did one game and was lots of fun, I can't remember what it was called, I think it was a harder one. You have to touch the other players to heal them if they become frozen. It's hilarious to work as a team and see how different everyone in your family plays the game. They even show a video of you at the end. Would come back, lots of fun, this was our first VR and it was awesome!
