Delicious for a first timer like me to try Brazilian food. Beef and Cheese Pastel is one of my favorite and the 3 sampler snacks (3rd photo) he let us try which I forgot the name (chicken filling, beef filling and cheese filling), all yummy. Must try!

We had an incredible experience at River Road Café in Richmond, BC! The service was absolutely amazing – the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was equally impressive, with a fantastic variety of traditional Brazilian dishes. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, showcasing the richness and diversity of Brazilian cuisine. From hearty stews to perfectly seasoned meats and delightful side dishes, every bite was a treat. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the menu and the customer experience. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service. Can’t wait to return!!!

River Road is a very nice small Brazilian restaurant located at a kind of remote area of Richmond. The restaurant has the same vibe as family owned restaurants in Brazil, very chill. I’ve tried most of their snacks and they are really good. I really love their esfihas, and French bread which are hard to find. They also sell a variety of frozen snacks that are just as good.

Very authentic Brazilian bakery and special lunch plates. High recommended. Also you can buy frozen foods to bring home.

I believe the feijoada is the main dish for sure, but don't forget to try the pastel. You can also find other Brazilian dishes and products.

Had an amazing brunch experience at this café! The hospitality was top-notch, thanks to Roberta, the store owner, and Thiago, who gave great food recommendations. The Riserise Breakfast was both sumptuous and light—perfectly balanced. The Amarato bread was a highlight: incredibly puffy, soft, and easily the best bread I’ve had in a long time. The chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection, keeping all its juiciness intact. Their Brazilian house coffee was rich and flavorful, and the Café Pingado (a strong blend with flat milk) was an absolute must-try. Also loved their easy-to-go meal boxes, making brunch or dinner effortless. Definitely a 5-star experience—highly recommended!

From outside, you'd think this non descript building houses a run off the mill simple cafe that would get you a quick sandwich on your way to work, but you'd be 100% wrong. This place is a hidden brazilian oasis which offers specialities made with care which you cannot find anywhere else in Metro Vancouver. The staff is super nice and the sandwiches and fried starters are super good. Definetely worth checking!

A thank you to Roggerio for introducing this cafe/diner. A low key place with friendly staff. I had a great breakfast that started off with a ground beef pastel, thin steak and onions, sausage & eggs breakfast and the owner threw in his house special bean stew for me to try. Everything was yummy and they sell other products there. Cheese balls and mini churros I baked at home and their pickled chillis are all really good as well. Thank you to the owner for giving me a sample of the house special bean stew. It was really good and it was a generous size. I will definitely be visiting again.
