Great place to visit! A lot of history and architecture to see. The gardens are really well laid out and beautifully appointed. You can participate in a lot of prayers and worship and purchase incense from the shop. While I have a few photos here, there are lots of places inside you can't take photos or videos of. That said many statues and figures are very impressive to see with their size and intricate details. There's a small restaurant and gift shop on site as well. When my family and I went, the library was unfortunately closed. Overall, a neat place to visit.
A must see place in Richmond. Everybody was respectful and kind. Felt like I was not in Canada and it was great.
I recently visited the International Buddhist Temple and dined at the Taste of Zen Kitchen, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This place is truly a hidden gem and a peaceful escape from the city. Atmosphere: The temple grounds are absolutely beautiful, with traditional architecture, serene gardens, and calm water features that make for an incredibly tranquil setting. Walking through the temple grounds felt like stepping into another world, where everything is peaceful and intentional. Volunteers: The volunteers here are some of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve encountered. You can see they take pride in maintaining the temple and making visitors feel welcome. Taste of Zen Kitchen: The vegetarian food here is exceptional! Every dish is prepared with care, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into creating meals that are both delicious and nourishing. I tried yam fish and dim sum platter and they were flavorful and satisfying. Perfect for anyone looking to try quality vegetarian food with authentic flavors. Calm and Relaxing: This spot is perfect for a day of relaxation and reflection. The overall vibe is peaceful, and there are plenty of spots to sit and take in the surroundings. It’s a wonderful place to clear your mind and feel at ease. Overall: If you're looking for a unique, calming experience with delicious vegetarian food, the International Buddhist Temple and Taste of Zen Kitchen are a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene day out.

If you are a Buddhist and looking for a place to feel calm and at peace, I would recommend this temple. At bit of a drive, but it was worth it. I did not see any monks who provide services, u need to do everything by yourself.
This temple is absolutely beautiful 😍. I saw it a few times while driving by on the way to Steveston Fishermans Wharf and finally decided to see if you could go in there to visit and WOOOOW! I want to go back whenni have more time and take more photos to post here. The statues, bonsai gardens with ponds and displays are awesome. They offer prayer bead necklaces, bracelets and incense to sell at entrance. This place is a must see! If you let go a little, You will find a little happiness. If you let go a lot, You will find a lot of happiness. If you let go completely, You will be free!
A very large temple situated in the Asian district of Vancouver. It's clean, and spacious for large grouping or families to go through without overcrowding with lots of architecture, statues and history embedded on their very grounds. Their garden fountain at the entrance is a beautiful landscape! Staff are present, selling incense or guiding visitors at the prayer hall. It's free to visit, and has ample parking too. I recommend visiting the International Buddhist Temple!
