Disneyland for dogs. Keep an eye on sea / tide levels, the lower the better.
Early morning summer walk with a dog. Calm and peaceful. Plenty of parking. LOTS of sand...get a good shoes. Had a low tide. Walked by the river on the wet (firmer) sand. Looped it back by the "forested" path. Nice off leash park.
Wonderful area with a boat launch, off leash dog area, picnic tables, trail, grass area, fresh water, bathrooms and plenty of safe parking. Lots of kms along the river for pups of all sizes to run and play! Highly recommended!
The only park where I take my dog, it's off leash, family friendly, and a very large place for your dogs to explore, and meet lots of friends... there are picnic tables for us to sit and enjoy the day... I haven't had time to explore the whole area yet...yes it's that big!
Very nice park. Dog friendly and open fields. You don’t have to ever worry about dogs running into traffic. You’ll only any to worry about stepping on doggy poo
Great place to bring your dogs, lots of trails to discover, huge sandy area to play fetch & of course the shoreline to throw sticks/balls/buoys etc into the river for your furbaby to swim. Just needs more picnic tables.
This place is amazing !! Such awesome views of the Fraser River and a great place to fish locally. There is a boat launch as well and a pay-by-the-day parking lot for the trailers and towing vehicles. Lots of regular parking also with nicely kept washrooms. There are picnic tables right on the causeway between the Boat-launch and the River. Some in shade and some in the sunshine. There is also a walking trail that runs along the River and its perfect for dogs to go for a swim and cool off.
The back trail behind the water is a great walk too
Beautiful area, especially if you have dogs!
Had such a fun time taking my girl here. Had forgotten about how great it is. Spent some good time on a walk and on a trail through the bush (don't be stationary, there's a lot of ant activity right now, not sure if fire ants), then found a log to sit on and read a book. Lots of passerby dogs gave me nose kisses and hellos.
We have picnicked and enjoyed the ambiance here over the years. Beside the boat launch there is always live entertainment and lots of delicious looking food being prepared. It can get a bit breezy. Plenty of parking (roll up your windows as it’s a bit dusty). This time we followed the river east and were pleasantly surprised by all the off leash happy dog activities. There are some very nice trails and smaller paths through the treed area. It’s about 3 km from the parking to the marsh at the end of the beach and back. Lots of cosy spots to relax along the way.
Riverside off-leash dog walk with trails and other walks nearby. Big field for frisbee and catch. Numerous benches and logs to sit and enjoy the views of the Fraser River, North Shore mountains, and boat traffic. Sandy stretches, grassy fields, lots of parking - though it seems to fill up fast as this is a popular destination for dog owners. Enjoy!
Lovely beach park nearby the vancouver International Airport YVR, it has a reasonably large parking lot with washroom provided, there is a beach area that's completely off leash for dogs and trails for walking if not walking to walk on the beach. Many also bring their boats and jetski to the area, enjoying different types of watersport
Nice simple park next to water with boat launch and dog area. Quite scenic but can get very busy and loud/hectic due to dogs.
