Visited LingYen Mountain Temple for the first time on Lunar New Year evening. While there are many visitors, the temple is very well run with staff and volunteers handing out incense and directing people to prevent over crowding in areas.
I got many positive emotions and vivid impressions after my visit to this temple. The temple staff are really friendly to guests and tourists. On weekdays in the morning, there are very few visitors, and you might even get invited to lunch. It's so delicious 😋!
Spent New Year’s Eve here for the second year in a row, participating in the bell-ringing ceremony—it was a peaceful and fulfilling experience! The temple is incredibly generous, offering blessings each year with gifts (this year, a prayer bracelet), red envelopes, offerings, and a vegetarian meal. I also completed my refuge ceremony here.
Na Mo Buddha. This place is so serene and peaceful as soon as you enter the premises. The Grand Buddha Hall is out of the world. Gives you the peace that came in for. Their library and information hall is very well organized. There are a lot of materials in both English and Chinese. The staff are very helpful. They had lavender tea on the day we went. It was very nice and warm. Aug 2024 - they are constructing the next phase. So parking is limited here. There is a lot C about 250 mts from the temple or you can try and find street parking for now.
One of the most comfortable temples in Metro Van. Lots of parking nearby. The new building will be spectacular when it opens. Check schedule for free vegetarian lunches (donated by others, or you can donate).
A place i will always enjoy going to and recharge. We went on a Sunday and were able to enjoy a vegetarian lunch after morning prayer. The pictures were taken pre chines New Year celebrations.
Came here twice, the main building is not open. We cant go in the main hall. The next phase is building and it looks very big. Not sure how to enter the main hall, would appreciate if there is more instructions
