Wonderful, relaxing getaway in the city! Lots of wide trails and scenic views. Ample parking - three hours for a dollar! Great place for a picnic on the grass or a stroll by the lake. Wheelchair accessible.

We went to this park for walking and sight seeing back during the Covid era of 2021, and thoroughly enjoyed our walk and the time we spent here sightseeing. Great place to relax and unwind. Also there is plenty of parking available in front of the park (by paying a nominal fee) and close by.

Gorgeous park and lake area. Plenty of space for walking and taking a picnic. The lake is nice and there are several different areas where you can walk by the lake. We went on a warm summer sunny day and I didn't notice any bugs or mosquitoes during our walk. Not sure if that would have been different had we laid around for a picnic, but others seemed to be enjoying themselves at their picnic. Very busy walking trails, but there are multiple ways to go to not be too crowded. Paid parking in some areas, but it's pretty cheap. We paid $1.20 for 3 hour parking.

Hines Lake has beautifully designed docks and seating areas on the lawn for folks to enjoy the views. Highly recommended.

Beautiful park, great vibes, vibrant colors! Water lilies will soon bloom and worth visiting again in June. Wonderful weekend activities with friends and families.

Beautiful place, lots of space to jog around, watch the sunset and see the fish and turtles swim through the waters.. there 2 food trucks for when you’re hungry.. love this park.
