I have been going to Capital Strength for 6 months now and am loving it. I knew nothing about weight lifting and have never been successful with my exercise goals until Capital Strength. Now I feel comfortable about lifting and working out because I have been taught the right way to do it. Also, I have always dreaded going to the gym but I now look forward to working out at Capital Strength and feel amazing after my workout. My personal trainer at Capital Strength, Eli Hines, is a consummate professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and really cares that I reach all my fitness goals. I’ve worked with personal trainers before but Eli is at a much higher level.

The best gym I've ever been a part of. I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to Carey, Eli, Peter, and Donny's coaching during group sessions each week. You walk in the gym and the workouts and your personal bests are already recorded and ready to go. The trainers work closely with you to show you how to do the exercises and give you recommendations as you go. Can't say enough good things about this place - it's a real gem (no pun intended)!

I am so happy I found Capitol Strength and Conditioning when I did! It’s been a great experience and it’s the perfect, supportive gym atmosphere. Eli is the best trainer! His workouts are always fun and challenging, and he’s always pushing me to do better. Added bonus for always being willing to talk Marvel!

I wanted to start strength training to feel stronger and boost my self confidence. But I needed an experienced coach to help me lift safely and properly to avoid injury. I contacted the owner Matt and after my initial consultation he paired me with coach Elijah Hines. I have really enjoyed working with Elijah and highly recommended him. He really knows a lot about strength training, but is also humble and professional. If you want to become stronger and more self confident contact Capital Strength Training.

Had an amazing experience at this facility. My trainer Eli honestly made me feel different about working out. I have now come to truly love it and find it therapeutic. I recently moved to holly springs and was more then willing to make the drive to come and work out with him. He is always on time, kind , professional and seriously the best trainer I have ever had. I would request him if you have the option! The gym is great as well. It is clean and the people are professional and friendly. Worth every penny.

I am coming up on a year at Capital Strength & Conditioning and have really enjoyed the atmosphere of gym as well as the progress I've made since transitioning from a CrossFit environment. I typically workout with Cary and Donny but my experience with all of the coaches has been great and they do a wonderful job of keeping track of where you are in the workout week and if you need anything tailored to your needs. Overall my experience here has been unmatched and I look forward to continuing my training with them!

I highly recommend Capital Strength to anyone searching for a trainer no matter how experienced they are with weight training. They have a very welcoming atmosphere with knowledgeable and personable trainers who will tailor a workout routine that fits your goals and experience. I’ve been working with Eli for the past 3 months and he has been extremely helpful in getting me started out right on my fitness journey.

I had a great experience with Capital Strength and Conditioning! As a beginner, I wanted a trainer who would teach me the fundamentals of weightlifting, but I was a bit intimidated beforehand because of my inexperience. Eli was always super encouraging and approachable. He gave me feedback that was helpful and easy to incorporate. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is new to weightlifting or working out-I learned a lot and had fun while doing it!

I've been training with Capital since Feb. and have loved every minute of it. Coming in, I have never lifted before, nor did I know where to begin. Within the first few sessions and drastic changes in my diet, I noticed a significant changes. Eli was very patient with me and focused on understanding the movements first and the theory behind the different exercises before upping the amount of weight I lifted. I trusted the process and did everything that Eli told me to do and to focus on and really glad I did because the changes were immense and much greater than I expected. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciated training with Eli. It did not feel like I training with with an instructor, but rather a friend. I really engaged with him on a level far greater than on a fitness level. I looked forward to my Wed. and Sat. because I knew that I got to train with Eli. His character stood out to me more and shined brighter than his knowledge of strength and conditioning. It made me want to do better, to do better with the next rep, and to come out of the session better than I was at the beginning. I can't help but give all thanks to him.

I've really enjoyed my time working out with Coach Eli Hines. I found Capital Strength and Conditioning through my wife, who has been training with Eli since the beginning of the year. Eli is extremely knowledgeable and is happy to share anything he feels will help in my fitness journey. I'm seeing myself get stronger each week, as well as my waistline getting smaller. All of the trainers are incredibly nice and motivating. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to make positive changes!

I am a novice at lifting weights, even though I have now entered my 60s. Working out at Capital Strength and Conditioning has been a great experience. The trainers are patient, show you how to do the exercises, give feedback on corrections, and are very positive. So far I have worked with Emerson and Eli, and they are wonderful. I was surprised to see that there were many other clients at the gym who seemed to be new at weight lifting. The trainers design workouts and appropriate weights to take you from where you are to help you improve your health and your life. Because you are receiving instruction from highly qualified professionals, you can lift the weights safely. In only 3 weeks I can already see positive changes in my body. They also email you nutrition information and videos, several times per week. I have upped the amount of protein that I eat each day and am making more nutritious food choices. Matt, the owner, is there most of the time. He is a great guy and he clearly knows how to run a high quality facility. I know Matt describes the gym as “no nonsense” but it feels very friendly and supportive. If you take classes it is easy to talk with and have rapport with other clients. I started on the same day as another woman and we say hi and fist bump each other each time we see one another. It is unlike any other gym I have joined. I give it my highest recommendation.

Fantastic space and team. I've been doing one-on-one training sessions with Kaycee for the past month. I appreciate how she and the other trainers tailor workouts to clients' unique needs, are patient and steady, and encourage steady progress without risking injury. My goal has been to simply more easily and confidently move around, and I've already learned so much about movement and my body through my training. I feel much more energized and confident with all my physical activity thanks to my sessions, from my regular runs, to chores around the house, to just playing with my dog. Starting these sessions was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time.

Great coaches, spacious facility with plenty of machines, free weights, towers, etc, and most importantly effective programming. I visited on a nice day and they had the big doors open, letting in fresh air. If you want yo get into shape and see results this is the place.

I can't recommend this place enough! I've struggled with getting into exercising for forever but since I've started going here I honestly look forward to it! The staff are super friendly and do an excellent job of creating a comfortable environment for everyone while you're in the gym. And my trainer Emerson is a 10/10 guy very knowledgeable, takes his time to make sure you are going at the right pace, and does a great job of making exercising fun fir the both if you! If you're thinking of trying it out just go for it and you won't regret it

I love Capital Strength! My husband and I have been working out with Chris for over two months now. He is the best trainer! I am fairly new to strength training, so Chris answers my million questions while both challenging and encouraging me. As a dentist, I am super protective over my back, and Chris is able to tailor the program to fit my needs (and my nerves!) Capital Strength is a great place to work out. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have two (or more) of everything! They send weekly emails with nutrition tips, recipes, educational videos, etc. If you are looking to join a gym, make sure it’s Capital Strength!

Capital Strength @ Conditioning is the best gym I've ever worked out at. There is tremendous space and equipment options available for anyone at any point in their fitness journey. What has made this gym so much more impactful to my life, is working with my personal trainer, Emerson. From Day 1, Emerson has helped me achieve excellent results. In just a little over 2 months, I've lost 5 inches on my waist, and gained significant muscle in my chest, arms, and back. Emerson blends workouts to be challenging, attainable, and fun. He allows me to give input into what exercises I enjoy or don't enjoy, and ensures we are achieving results in the process. He has been extremely flexible with my busy work schedule, and is always willing to accommodate my needs. Thank you Emerson for being an amazing fitness partner and continuing to challenge me to get results! -Justin

This gym was the perfect place to workout. It was spacious, clean and had all the right equipment for me to do big lifts and any body weight movements I wanted. I lost count of how many squat racks there were there were so many! Nice coaches and owner too.

I recently moved to Raleigh and looking for a gym was a top priority. Capital Strength has great trainers, programs and equipment. Convenient and easy to get to, and easy to schedule workouts with the app. And CLEAN and ORGANIZED. Compound lifts were new to me, so good trainers were essential. Ben's coaching has helped me gain confidence and trust myself. His cues and coaching help keep me from overthinking and slow down. Ben, Eli, Peter and Cary make me want to show up and try my best. I'm really happy with my progress.

I’ve been going to Capital Strength for about a month now and it’s the best gym I’ve ever been to. I’m a complete beginner to lifting and upper body work and Ben,Peter, and the team are incredible - extremely nice, very encouraging, and are great, very knowledgeable instructors. The exercises Ben prepares for me are fun and challenging and I look forward to every session and continuing making progress. Highly recommended!

I started working out at Capital Strength four months ago and it’s been a fantastic experience. My trainer Emerson is the absolute BEST! He is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and invested in his clients’ success. He completely changed how I felt about weightlifting. What I love about this gym is the variety and quality of the equipment and the atmosphere. It’s welcoming no matter your gender, age, or ability. Highly recommend!

Cooper Howe and all the coaches at Capital Strength are exceptional. I've worked with Cooper for over a year and a half now and I can't believe the physical (and mental) gains I've received. I look forward to going to the gym now! Cooper is great at creating engaging workouts, explaining exactly what muscles are being worked, and checking in on progress outside of the gym. He's quick on his feet when it comes to altering workouts due to injury or fatigue. Capital Strength recently expanded their location. The facility is clean and everyone there is extremely friendly. They have every piece of equipment you could ever need. I would recommend it to anyone looking to grow - muscle, endurance, AND confidence.

We have been training at Capital for the past 8 months now and it has been one of our best experiences! The coaches are super friendly and they take our objectives seriously! We love training with our coach Carey ❤️ She has helped us tremendously in bringing up our fitness levels and building strength. She also quickly jumps in to take care of any mobility issues we encounter and also make modifications to the workout to be more aligned to individual needs. She is very well prepared for all the sessions and takes good care of us. She is an absolute JOY to work with such that we do not mind traveling extra miles to get to our sessions every week. Absolutely recommend.

My wife and I joined Capital Strength about 7 months ago and have worked with Shane the whole time. He has been great to work with and has concentrated on creating stability and strength with everything we do. The trainers here really focus on the individual and what your goals are. They are knowledgeable and develop safe training plans with their clients abilities being the paramount focus.

Capital Strength is a great place to train. The staff and trainers are all welcoming and friendly, while also pushing you to get your best results. The atmosphere in the gym is light and fun, but serious when it comes to the work outs. I highly recommend Capital Strength for everyone from strength training beginners to seasoned gym goers looking to get to the next level.

Capital Strength & Conditioning’s concept of semi-private small group training is different and better than what I had in mind. When I think of small group training, I think of a group of people doing synchronized workouts, like military training or any athletic team sports training. Rather, due to everyone having different goals and start days of their workout schedules, you’re working out at your own pace with others around doing the same, with trainers coaching you on proper form and making sure you not only execute each exercise properly and safely, but also making sure you understand the mechanics behind each movement in detail. If we’re being honest, you’re mainly paying for the knowledge, and knowledge is power. The fact that the team is awesome enough to let clients snap pics of the weekly exercise board for our own keepsake and how eager all of them are to help you understand certain concepts tells me how much they want us all to succeed at our goals. Which leads me to my next point: passionate. It’s the main reason why I’m now on Month 2 and looking forward to many more sessions with them. No matter which trainer we’re talking about here, not a single one ever has given me that vibe of “I’m just here for a paycheck”. Each one has their own way of training and demonstrating, but each one is also as passionate as the next: I see it everyday I go in, and I want to continue to surround myself with these kinds of energy. And when you have a private gym filled with trainers like these, the whole team and everyone who passes through creates a scene that makes you wanna return. Just sign up and find out. You've already come this far.

I can’t say enough great things about Capital Strength. With being new to strength training, I signed up for personal training and have been working with Carey for the past six months. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful all while holding me accountable in achieving my goals. All of the trainers and members are friendly and encouraging. I look forward to going so I feel like that says a lot about the environment. Highly, highly recommend!

I joined Capital Strength almost a year ago and can’t say enough good things about it. I personally love the smaller, more personalized environment - the trainers are amazing and the programs set you up for success. I came from a group class gym setting and knew very little about strength training - now I love it and will never go back! I genuinely look forward to my workouts and I’ve never felt stronger - I highly recommend Capital Strength and look forward to continuing to train with them!

Joined Capital Stength & Conditioning about a month ago and beyond impressed! All staff are extremely friendly and professional. They will help you meet your fitness goals starting at your current point on your journey. I have been working with Shane since coming here and have lost 25 lbs in my first month. He continues to motivate me holding me accountable for my progress and modifies my workouts so I can get the most out of each workout. I can't wait to continue to see the progress and results I'll have and Thanks!
