I would give zero stars if it was an option. I have Amazon Prime which guarantees two day shipping. For whatever reason, this post office cannot grasp the concept of this. These people deliver packages whenever they feel like it. I was scheduled to have a package delivered yesterday, August 29th. The package went out for delivery; however, it was never delivered nor was it scanned back into the facility. I called the post office this morning, August 30, to inquire about my package. The package was at the post office. I asked why wasn't it delivered yesterday and the person that I spoke with stated that she didn't know. The person also asked me if I could come and pick it up. EXCUSE ME??? Me come pick the package up that you people were suppose to deliver? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it that your job?!! To deliver mail and parcels, right?!! To my knowledge, there wasn't any damage to the package that would cause me to have to go inspect it. I am still mind-boggled at the fact that this person wanted me to come pick up the package instead of apologizing for the inconveniences and stating that the package will be delivered first thing this morning. In any event, I stated that the package was too heavy for me to come pick up, which the person agreed with and went on to state that my package would be delivered some time today. Sometime today? Really?! That package should have been delivered first thing this morning. Heck, it Should have been delivered yesterday. Addendum: I received by package at about 1:45pm, give or take a few. The person that I spoke to on the phone this morning actually delivered it in what looked to be her personal automobile. I really appreciate her for doing that. That being said, the feedback that I received as to why my letter carrier didn't deliver it yesterday left a lot to be desired. She stated that perhaps it was because it was "too heavy;" however, she quickly backtracked on her statement. She also stated that she couldn't get anyone else to deliver my package. I beg your pardon?!! I had no idea that letter carriers had an option to deliver packages. I do believe that I'm going to have to contact the powers that be to get some clarification. Freaking ridiculous.

If you are not from here; you might believe its current state is the norm. Previously these districts held a better standard, and did not require reminders to remain professional from customers. The previous employees from 1988 , were great, and it showed. Common knowledge of to not bring your religion to work could have been lost in the preceding generation. I am a original towny yes...Ms. Babyless and not single, I have a boyfriend, do not assume...We do not desire bad attitudes. Community involvement or gossip, ask for a tutor. Do not use others like pawns. I miss and remember how these districts were then. 2 opposites can not be the original. Anti-self loathing!

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Packages go "missing". Mail not being delivered. I even have USPS informed delivery and still don't receive delivered mail. When tracking packages, instances of receiving text alerts that carrier could not "access" my home to deliver my packages. A flat out lie. One particular instance of " no access", my husband was in the front yard landscaping, and I was in the front room with the door open. Filed complaints with postal inspector and local Park Forest office. No resolution. If anything, it's worse.

The 1 star goes to the very few nice folks that work there. I give a zero for the rest of the folks that are rude and/or don't care about their job so it is reflected in our mail service. For months I was having issues with them simply picking up packages. I would schedule a pick up and they would deliver my mail and ignore the package. I would literally have to put a huge note on my door so they would take them. On top of them not taking the packages they were marking the pick ups as complete. I would get a receipt in email so I knew they were doing this. Normally I am not one to complain but it was so frequent I eventually had to report them through the USPS hotline. They used the excuse that there was a new carrier on our route the week before I complained. Which I find to be interesting because this was going on for a long period of time before that. I thought things were getting better and then another package was not picked up. When I saw the package was not picked up I called and then they said they were going to send someone back out and they never did. I had to put a note on the door Monday for them to actually take it. I didn't complain because human error happens from time to time and it had not happened in a while. Then something happened to our mail this past week. My husbands replacement wedding ring was suppose to arrive and be delivered. Tracking said it was out for delivery at 9:30am and nothing ever showed up. Tracking was never updated on Friday and nothing arrived in our mailbox so I called them. I spoke to a woman who told me the package never left their facility and it was certified and was at the post office. I told her I would not be able to pick it up because I was at work and would call back Satuday morning to get it first things in the morning. So Saturday morning I called when they open at 9:00am and even though they were open I was not able to get anyone to pick up the phone until 9:30. It would just ring and ring. I spoke to a different woman who was VERY rude. Told me she didn't have time to talk to me, track my package or go digging for it to assure when I came in that it would be there. I explained I would not be home the rest of the day and if the package had not gone out with the carrier yet that I am suppose to be able to pick it up. She told me then come in then or call back in an hour. I rushed up there in hopes to talk to someone else and I spoke to another woman at the front desk. She was very nice and could not find the package and took my information down and told me the supervisor was going to locate it and get back to me. That never happened. So I waited until 1:00pm to call back and magically the woman on the phone could find it now so I went in and picked it up. The woman who helped me and checked me out at the counter told me she was the one that found it and was very nice. I told her what happened and she was just as upset as I was about how things are running around there. You could tell she is frustrated working there without even saying it. Now I am looking for another package that was suppose to be delivered last week as well. They even marked it as delivered yet nothing has showed up here. I have contacted the seller as they insured the package so hopefully they can get a claim processed and send me another one. On top of it the condo association we live in called to tell us they found some of our mail in the street!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They returned it to the post office and we have not seen that yet either! Something seriously needs to be done about this post office. I have written to the mayor of the town and plan to go to corporate. I suggest others do the same!

They have lost two of my packages. Both were marked as delivered, but I never received them. I filed claims for both of them and after several long months received an email saying they were unable to find my packages. UGGHHHH!!! Unbelievable. Money down the drain. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I am relieved to see a similar sentiment among other reviewers; I was beginning to think this was personal.

Here we go again - Delivery Notifications with no delivery. 5:36 receive a text that package was delivered & left with individual. I immediately go to door no package. I call in the morning ( hey at least they answered this time) First woman I talked to was my carrier, but injured so she's not been on my route lately. She was pleasant to deal with. She claims the carrier is stating he handed the package off. He did not hand any package off to anyone at my home. The called moved to a supervisor that claimed same thing. I told her the same thing. No on handed anything off here, if he handed anything off he delivered to the wrong home. She says, he will look in his truck & she will call me back. Well if he handed it of, as you claim, then why would it be in his truck? Package arrives in my door at normal delivery time. -- Dear carriers. Don't scan a package and not deliver it. Just keep it in the truck and deliver it the next day.

If I could give 0 stars I would they scanned my package as delivered and it wasn’t at my home so their either stealing packages or losing them. I went up there to ask where could my package be and they couldn’t even give me a direct answer because “their system has been down since Wednesday” not only is my package lost the front desk lady had a very nonchalant nasty attitude so now I have a big event coming up and I’m not sure if my package will come in time … thanks park Forest USPS file stress and absolutely nothing

😠 It’s not what you say it’s definitely how you say it. The clerks that work the desk are some of the most unprofessional individuals I’ve ever seen. It maybe time for Lesly to retire- her tone is loaded with disdain and contempt- for whatever reason…. I’m not sure…. Greeting patrons with a smile shou...
