👍👍 Delicious fried chicken. The sticky rice was a little hard but once you get the sauce it's great. Also, I initially ordered a Thai ice tea without ice and they brought me one with ice. But then gave me.one without ice and didn't charge me for the first one. Hence the $10 tip on a $21 meal. Love th... People often mention good, ordered,

Service was polite, attentive, and food came out HOT! Our host was very sweet and checked in on us to keep waters filled and made sure we had everything we needed without being pushy. I think one of the chefs ran our food? They were also very polite and brought out HOT HOT HOT and deliciously steaming dishes! Overall had a very satisfying meal that scratched the itch for pad thai. Parking is limited in Hampden, but not impossible depending on the day/time. The Ave is cute and fun to walk up and down!

Visited for lunch and ordered the shrimp summer rolls, calamari, yellow curry, and woonsen soup with chicken. We didn't try any pho because I couldn't justify the lack of options for the price, esp when there are so many good Vietnamese restaurants in Bmore. Overall, every plate was decent. Calamari (my fav plate) had a solid crunch, albeit heavier than I was expecting. Summer rolls were fresh and tasty with the dip, but pretty minimally packed compared to ones I've both had and made. Woonsen soup was a solid alternative to American chicken noodle soup. Yellow curry tasted good too. My only gripe was the curry sauce being so thin because you couldn't easily eat it with the rice. In terms of nuance, everything was really straightforward without much complexity in flavour or ingredients. Reminded me of home cooking. For the prices, I'm not sure I'd rush back, but nothing I had here was unpleasant.

A great place for (super) noodles. I ordered one of the pho dishes, and I'd definitely recommend; they're known for it on campus. You're paying a few extra dollars than what pho normally costs, but the portion is massive. I'd choose this place over, say, Mi & Yu Noodle Bar (@ the rotunda) if you're looking for size over flavor. It was a hearty meal. The Thai Iced Tea was pretty standard but it comes in a tall glass. Good place for a group dinner.

Food was very good, only complaint is the spice level was pretty low even ordering 5/5. But the flavor was spot on. Service was prompt and attentive, staff was nice, food was ready quick.

Got the pho and it was pretty good! Baltimore does not generally have very good Asian food, so I was surprised by the food here!! I will be back again if I’m craving pho :)

The staff were very friendly. It was so good I went two nights in a row, first night I had take out, next night I did dine in. I sat in the bar area. Which had a nice atmosphere. Everything I ordered was good. My only issue was my entree came out before my appetizer and it seemed like it wasn’t put in with the other food. Other than that, everything else was great. I had the Beef Pho, calamari(not pictured), mango sticky rice and the lychee daiquiri

Always have a stellar time and meal here. Ms. Mona makes wonderful broth for the pho. Generous portions as well. Careful of the spice level. Gets quite hot easily.

I have NEVER had pho before....ever. I chose Mona's for the 4.5 & someone reviewing as "best pho in the city". Let me be TOTALLY honest... If THIS is what pho is I will NEVER eat it again. 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮 The broth was the blandest thing everrrrrr. A NISSAN or Maruchan cup of noodles has WAYYY more flavor than what I received. 💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️ I ordered the Veggie pho with CHICKEN broth. It was disgraceful. No type of love. THIS broth definitely did NOT simmer or cook for hours to GET FLAVOR. It tasted like a weak chicken bouillon cube over UNLOVED, UNSeasoned veggies!! Maybe (??) Mona's has good food but THIS PHO was a miss. I will NOT be returning to try ANYTHING else. Thanks GOOD LUCK.

We ordered a number of dishes cause we wanted to try them all. The pho was really good, the curry was a little underwhelming--a little to watery for my taste, the pad thai was good as well. The Thai iced tea was unexpectedly good. Overall a yummy experience. 🙂
