The old man behind the counter is extremely unprofessional, insecure, and rude. He accused me of having a fake ID when I am 24 years old. I offered him multiple forms of identification, both federal and state. He told me "no store in town will serve you with that ID" so I proceeded to the next liquor store down the street, and got my 12 pack of beer without any problems whatsoever. Perhaps The scanner machine needs to be looked at, or the old man's eyesight is just going out, either that or this old man truly is just a rude bitter old piece of trash. I'm currently enjoying my ice cold beer while writing this review. I would never, I repeat ever spend a penny of my hard earned money in this horrible establishment. I am very glad that another store got my hard earned money. When I called the store later to speak to management, the old man very cowardly hung up on me two times in a row. I feel bad for you bro. Have fun living out your remaining years slinging beers to Maryland's finest.

Great dive bar. We were in town for a quick layover and this was the only good looking bar that I could find on Google. Close to our hotel. Bartenders were GREAT! Very welcoming and helpful. They helped with some restaurant recommendations that worked out perfectly. Small but good selection of draft beers. It's been a long time since I've had National Bohemian on tap! YUM! There's an on-premise liquor and beer store so you can stock up before you head home (or wherever you're going). By the way, the pizza place in the shopping center is really good. Don't go here for lunch. The sign says "tavern" but this is just a liquor store with a bar attached. The "food" on their menu is ordered from another store in the same mall and walked over. If you are looking for a place for a business lunch, these guys can't even give you a consolidate receipt to submit. You will get one recently for beverages and a separate receipt for food. Doesn't work with my company.

Start by getting yelled at, then when you ask for a possible order for a case of a particular wine, get yelled at. Oh, when you look at your receipt you'll notice that you were overcharged. Don't waste your time. The products are over priced anyway.

Towne Tavern sponsored a Chili Cook Off fundraiser for GB Charities. A friend organized it and we attended. Very accommodating. On a regular basis, they have live bands on the weekends.

Moved back home this past year and needed a new liquor store close by; had a drink while I was there and met some lovely people too! Bartender was speedy and good conversation on the side. Now usually just use it every few weeks to buy some cider 🍻

I have never felt so welcome in a place I’ve never been. I was led to the right place to choose my beer as I mistakenly picked an uncooled sixer. Guy led me with clear instructions and a pat on the back to round out that neighborhood bar/ liquor store feel. Just came to get a six pack but I will return to spend more hard earned money. These guys have a great system and a very friendly demeanor. Good job remembering what’s important: a good time and smiling faces.

Excellent band playing (Southway) unique small bar atmosphere and quite cozy. Well worth the drive up here from the city. From on service industry member to another, keep up the good work!

Friendly guys, but highway robbery. Outrageous prices. Single cans start at 2.50 for natural LIGHT. If you need to purchase alcohol on sundays, save your money from these greedy s.o.b.'s and go to Maria's out on Taylor, a bit of a drive but they don't price gouge.

Sunday night bartender is impossibly rude. Like straight up hostile. I refuse to go in there. I guess he hates his job and like....money🤷‍♀️

It's a local "dive" bar. Good service with a great attitude. Excellent pours for Jameson (I assume it extends to other shots too). People leave you be. What more could you want from a local hangout? Good times at minimum, more often than not great times. Cheers.

Open Monday-Sunday and close enough to make sure the fridge will get it's fill of my favorite drinks for the games. And if I want a change of atmosphere I can watch their TV at the bar and lounge.
