Living in NYC for over a decade had me eating in dozens of different Indian restaurants. This joint has me missing my old stomping grounds in Manhattan. Extremely tasty Nepalese cuisine and gracious service. Love their lunch buffet!

Wow, I have eaten really great Indian food for my whole life and this establishment is a pure and utter disappointment and a poor excuse for “Indian food”. The service is the worst I have ever experienced for an Indian restaurant and the “food” was spiceless and just plain bland. In fact, there was only one man who ran the front desk taking phone orders, taking our order, refilling our water only when asked , bringing our food and check and also probably making the food. I think I saw one employee running the entire restaurant! 😳🤔 Don’t waste your time or money and go elsewhere. When the highlight of your Indian meal was the naan, they missed all the marks. They could not even make raita (yogurt) correctly?!?? Seriously?!?

Easy five stars. We got a lot of food and we loved it all. I love the authentic atmosphere. And the customer service was great. And the prices were on par with other Indian restaurants. I would very much recommend this restaurant to everybody.

Homey, not fancy but does the job. I went for the buffet. Not top-tier flavor, but it was open. Had to ask for Naan, no smoky flavor but it was fresh. But they had Chai tea on the buffet so that's a definite plus. Help was smiling.

The food is really good. I will not call this 100 percent authentic Indian or Nepalese but whatever they are cooking is tasty. We had chicken sekawa kebob, biriyani, chilli chicken and onion kulcha. Portions were huge. You should really give this a try if living nearby.

Truly the worst Indian meal I've ever had. The chicken tikka masala was completely flavorless, huge chunks of plain, unspiced chicken sitting in a pretty orange sauce that had zero flavor. It was hard to find any actual onion amidst the batter in the onion bhajia. The samosas and malai kofta were somewhat better, but not great. We ordered takeout so I will not comment on the ambiance or service. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Had not had any good Indian food in a while, saw this place on my way home. Not worth the money I paid. For the a 20 entrée I literally got 1 piece of dried chicken breast in big chunks. Horrible portion for the money. Maybe the buffet is where its at. Definitely not the regular menu.

This place has a great buffet with lots of variety. They have a good mix of vegetarian and meat dishes. The chicken Khorma had a nice flavor.

Our visit to Royal Kitchen was delightful. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Our meal was flavorful for appetizers we ordered vegetable samosas and chat papari of the two the chat papari was the exceptional! For our entrees we had shrimp tikka masala, plain naan and an order of chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. For dessert we had gulab jamun and rice kheer both of which was tasty! We will definitely return to Royal Kitchen.

Over the months I've gotten a few items occasionally and I always liked it. But yesterday the food was at another level. I got quite a few items yesterday for family and friends (goat briyani, lamb saag, veg. Jalfrezi, chk. Tikka masala, tandoori chicken, naan). Each item had the spice level as specified. I really appreciated that the food was hot even though I picked up a little late. They have the best tasting Indian food (satisfying the south Indian palette specifically) around the hunt valley area. They'd be my go to place from now on. Glad I don't need to drive to Catobsville every time I crave tasty Indian food.

I remember when Royal Kitchen first opened. It was amazing. The food was great, decor was gorgeous and the staff cared about service. Fast forward a few years later. Ownership has changed along with the whole staff. Everything has gone downhill. Yesterday I went for the first time in a long time for an order, to go. We were told during the call that the order would be ready “in 25 minutes”. 50 minutes later, I was still waiting at the counter, and it wasn’t even busy. There was literally no order coming out of the kitchen in the 30 minutes I was there. I was also told that they wouldn’t honor the lunch special ($12.99 for any chicken item + 1 naan) because “lunch time starts at 12 sharp”. So I guess you’re out of luck if you want to order your lunch at 11:50? I wouldn’t know since the flier only mention the end time (2pm) I paid $35 for a tikka masala, a garlic naan and a mango lassi. I feel staff has been quite dishonest all around. It was the last time they saw my money. So unfortunate.

Edit: this restaurant is under new management since my original 5 star review below. Much slower and less attentive service. Chicken tikka masala was good but not great... it was missing something but couldn’t put my finger on it and had way too much cilantro. I hope this restaurant can make it but by the empty dining room we saw tonight, I’m not hopeful. We come here all the time and it never disappoints. It’s our favorite Indian restaurant in the area! We’ve tried a few apps and try to branch out but the chicken tikka masala is a staple and the best I’ve had. The naan is always fresh and piping hot! The staff here are warm, welcoming and attentive. If you’re looking for Indian on food in Baltimore county, this is your place.

I went for dinner. Food was bland, cold, & looked and tasted like store bought frozen food. Flavor was definitely missing. Naan & water were decent. Overall had an “ick” feeling being there — didn’t seem clean or well maintained. Couldn’t leave fast enough.

I ordered food from here for delivery at 7:30pm on a Saturday. I called at 8:30pm-9pm to check, and some man answered the phone saying that they didn't deliver but he was going to return to the restaurant and deliver it or something like that. I couldn't understand him. I told him he could just cancel the order and they shouldn't have accepted if it was a problem. He refused and said he was going to bring the food. Nobody ever brought any food and they charged me $50.

2 full hours to get food 10 minutes away, for an order at 7 pm. I called after an hour and they said that they were just finishing it up. I tried calling again after 40 minutes, but no one picked up. Someone called and said it would be 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, the food arrived. The food was ok, but definitely not worth a wait like that.

The food is good, but they routinely mess up take out orders. Ordering online appears to work fine, but you arrive to pick up and they can't find your order. After much rummaging around they finally find it, apologize, say it will be ready in 6 minutes, or something like that, then you sit and wait 15-20 minutes because they only just started cooking your food after you arrived to pick up. They are very kind and apologize profusely, then it happens again, almost every time.

The food was great. The wait was a bit much. Give yourself more time. Need to check out the weekend buffet sometime. #indian food #baltimorecountymd

Today I ordered vegg momo for pickup but they mixed chicken 2 chicken momo on that. I never had any kind of meat since my birth but today because of their careless it happened. I called them back and they offered me free order but I denied that because its not about money its about somebody’s religion, values and faith.

The food is great and never makes any sense when you order your food you come get your food because they tell you what time that it should be ready you get here and they’re just starting your food or you do order online and it tells you it’s gonna be ready in 30 minutes you get here 30 minutes late and have to wait an extra 15 to 20 minutes. This is about the second time this has happened to me and it’s unfortunate because the food is good so it’s worth buying but they’re messing with people‘s time they don’t know if I’m on my way to work or whatever the case maybe but I still have to wait extra minutes after getting here at the arrival time and you’re just starting the food that makes no sense

Tasteless food I have ever eaten. There is only one guy managing the hotel and it took 1 hour to prepare the order. Coming to food! No words, we told him we want it spicy and of course we look Indian but ended up getting bland food and a sweet chilli chicken. There is nothing Indian about the food, if you have an Indian pallet skip this place.
