Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard is a large chain of dessert shops with locations across America. This was actually mine and my wife's first time trying this place surprisingly but we were amazed with what they had to offer! They offer a variety of Italian Ice made with real fruit juices and flavors. If you're not familiar with Italian Ice it's similar to a snow cone but with finer ice and richer flavor. The atmosphere was cute and had a modern yet carnival looking design on the outside and the people working there were very friendly and wanted to help and seemed happy to be there. The desserts were tasty and different. If you haven't had the chance to try them out, do it! I had the Ice Sampler and got s'mores, Orange, Unicorn and Dragonfruit. My wife had their seasonal "Ocean Splash" with custard and sprinkles with gummy sharks. The orange ice was bursting with flavor and basically tasted like an orange juice icee. It was very fresh and refreshing. The Dragonfruit was also refreshing and had good flavor as well. The unicorn was interesting because it's a mix of like 5 or 6 flavors and at first I thought it tasted like grape, then bubble gum, then cotton candy but I just couldn't put my finger on it! Still, it was delightful to try. I got the s'mores because I wanted to see how they were attempting to get the flavor into shaved ice and they did a decent job. It was the least favorite for me out if the four but I still ate it all. They use a vanilla and marshmallow flavoring in the ice and add mini chocolate chips in the mix. I was saddened to see that they didn't add any graham crackers on top or something because that is essential to s'mores! My wife's Ocean Splash ice had the flavor of cotton candy or bubble gum to me but they were attempting to have a tropical flavor with it but I didn't ask what the flavor actually was. The custard that they add goes on the bottom of the cup as well as on top. Their custard is velvety and almost fluffy. Very light and smooth. It had good flavor and went well with the ice. We had to go back to Rita's a few days later because we really liked it and I got the Reese's peanut butter mudslide concentrate and the wife got a pear and mango ice cup. My mudslide was good and had plenty of Reese's and lots of hot fudge on top but looked kind of messy and didn't really look like the picture haha. I had her ice and their fruit ices are what they are good at because the fruit flavor just comes through so well and it's so refreshing on a hot day. The prices are reasonable at Rita's and it's definitely a place we would visit again if we ever need a tasty Italian Ice fix! Atmospheres are great, service has been good at both locations and flavors don't disappoint. Can't wait to go back! Follow me for more reviews across America 😎🍔🍕🦖🔧

5* for service 5* for their frozen Ice Price wa reasonable The frozen yogurt was not the best. Rita’s you can do better! The size was good. Great presentation, taste I will give it 3 (being generous here).

Love it it barely beats my favorite Snowball Stand however when they have 2 custard flavors other then the normal I am game ..that would be my main request more custard flavors to go with juicy pear ,watermelon, black cherry, more fruity custard flavors for gelaties please that will make it 5 stars for me

Well, you can't go bad with Rita's. I try and try different flavors and have been satisfied with each one.

Brain freeze? After 50 years I decided I needed to see what the line is all about. I tried two items and wasn't overly impressed with either. The 1st was really just a finely shaved snowball, the 2nd was a mix of snowball with ice cream. They appear to offer various renditions of the same two items. Let's cut to the chase. Pack some ice cream into the bottom of a yeti cup and go to your favorite snowball stand. Or, just go to a local dairy for ice cream. I personally think both would be better, jmo.

They just reopened not too long ago and this was their free custard day. The line was to the street and down along side it, but they were efficient and like moved decently. We got our order and it was just as I remembered last year.

I really enjoyed my gelati here. The custard was the perfect consistency and my birthday cake ice was beyond what I expected. The young lady that was working was beyond friendly, even in the day of covid offered us a sample. She also filled our order with ease and speed and honestly I drive by here quite often and there's always people there but it never seems like there is a long line

Very friendly employees & love the variety of different desserts. And of course everything tastes great! Reminds me of being a young kid sitting on the porch of my parents house, with our choice of frozen treats to enjoy with my family!

It doesn’t get better than this place! I love the ices and custards and combined in their gelati!! They are especially wonderful because they will make your favorite flavor on request if you call either the day before or early enough in the morning before they decide on new flavors. 🙃

Deserves the ratings it gets, 100% legit. We had some sort of hot fudge Sunday something and a sour apple Italian ice. It was amazing, next level. Will be back.
