I
brought
my
one
year
old
in
for
his
12m
check
up
and
because
he
was
showing
signs
of
a
cold.
And
also
we
were
concerned
he
may
have
a
dairy
allergy.
Paulina
checked
him
and
had
mentioned
that
his
throat
and
ears
were
looking
red
and
irritated,
she
prescribed
us
some
amoxicillin.
Also
took
some
allergy
test/blood
work
etc.
we
waited
for
his
results
to
come
back
he
started
becoming
more
irritable,
having
more
symptoms
of
a
cold.
Yesterday
(the
28th)
he
started
breaking
out
with
small
red
dots
all
over
his
body
head
to
toe,
labored
breathing,
really
bad
congestion,
etc.
It’s
now
been
7days
since
he
was
prescribed
the
antibiotic
and
have
been
waiting
for
that
call
about
his
allergy
results.
As
any
mom
would
do
I
got
concerned
and
sent
my
husband
with
our
son
back
to
the
office.
Unfortunately
Paulina
just
so
happened
to
not
be
there
on
a
Tuesday
which
I
wasn’t
expecting
but
we
were
reassured
by
the
front
desk
that
Robert
can
see
him
(i
explained
to
her
everything
that
was
going
on
with
my
baby
and
she
suggested
we
come
in
right
away).
On
my
end
I
should’ve
known
to
just
take
my
son
elsewhere.
I
advise
my
husband
to
ask
them
about
the
results
while
they
are
there.
I
walked
my
husband
through
everything
he
recited
everything
my
son
experience
in
the
last
few
days
with
his
symptoms
and
voiced
all
of
our
concerns.
Robert
had
my
son
waiting
for
an
hour
while
he
spoke
to
all
his
female
workers
and
paid
absolutely
no
attention
to
anything
else
going
on.
The
first
thing
my
husband
noticed
is
He
was
SURELY
distracted.
After
some
time
they
go
in.
He
checks
my
son.
Reads
results.
And
simply
brushes
my
son
off
and
“diagnoses”
him
with
a
milk
allergy
prescribed
allergy
medication
and
sent
him
on
his
way.
Mind
you
this
is
a
1
year
old
with
spots
all
over
his
body
wheezy
breathing,
congested.
My
husband
after
noticing
how
distracted
DR
is
has
to
question
him
over
and
over
what
to
do
next
what
to
expect
if
he’s
sending
the
meds
to
our
pharmacy.
leaving
my
husband
clueless
heading
back
home
with
a
wheezy
baby
worried
heart
&
more
questions
than
answers.
We
travel
very
far
to
get
to
this
office.
Because
we
love
Paulina
so
much.
now
I’m
on
my
end
heading
to
the
pharmacy
it’s
now
almost
closing
time
for
the
office.
I
get
to
pharmacy
to
my
surprise
no
prescription
for
our
baby.
We
call
the
office
multiple
times,
a
few
minutes
before
closing
and
no
answer.
At
all.
Now
we
are
freaking
out.
I
spend
almost
another
hour
at
the
pharmacy
waiting.
Still
nothing.
It’s
now
almost
7pm.
I
head
home
and
my
baby
is
asleep
but
his
breathing
has
gotten
much
worse
his
lips
look
blue
and
he’s
pale.
I
immediately
rush
him
to
the
hospital.
And
let
me
tell
you,
what
we
found
out
was
heart
wrenching.
With
low
oxygen
needing
a
steroid
to
open
up
his
air
way.
My
one
year
old
has
RSV.
Completely
missed
by
Robert
and
brushed
off
as
an
allergy
outbreak.
(Which
I’m
sure
was
convenient
for
him
to
read
tests
and
assume
that’s
the
cause
of
this
so
he
can
go
on
with
his
day)
They
even
said
if
we
gave
him
an
allergy
medicine
it
would’ve
just
made
his
situation
worse.
The
amoxicillin
also
caused
another
reaction
to
his
illness.
It
was
by
gods
grace
that
I
knew
to
bring
him
just
in
time.
I
called
today
to
tell
front
desk
what
happened
and
how
could
he
have
missed
it.
I
stated
I
specifically
want
to
speak
to
Paulina
so
the
girl
said
she
will
call
her
only
to
be
called
back
by
an
angry
man
with
no
accountability
and
pure
disrespect.
Blaming
my
husband
that
he
should’ve
taken
our
baby
to
the
hospital
because
common
sense
instead.
First
says
he
sent
the
prescription
than
says
maybe
I
sent
a
little
after
closing.
And
so
much
more.
I
think
I’ve
said
enough.
Now
my
baby
AND
toddler
has
RSV
because
it’s
contagious.
Something
that
could
have
been
prevented,
or
even
forgiven
with
accountability
and
some
compassion.
A
simple
sorry
would
have
been
fine.
A
simple
how
is
the
baby?
Is
he
okay?
No
this
man
was
just
angry
for
his
mistake
and
chose
disrespect
instead.
I
hope
he
can
learn
from
this
experience.
And
I
can
no
longer
return
to
this
practice
due
to
this
negligence.
