    The front desk is what ruins this office . As soon as you walk in to check in you do not see any friendly faces and this is a pediatrics office only. All the front desk looks mad and annoyed to be at work. Why choose this profession? On top of that if you ask a question its always talk back instead of helping with the answer . But then dont like when patients are giving back attitude and same energy to them. I was given the wrong information over the phone and was not aware of any changes to prices and how they do not accept cash anymore instead of the front desk apologizing for the wrong information given they right away are mad at you for their mistake. The medical assistant in the back are very helpful and happy to help with what they can.

    Worst site to be in. They just know how to schedule an appointment one after another and have no clue how to manage the patients. I had to wait for a full 2 hours before I was able to see a nurse to have vitals done for my son. Then another 30 minutes to wait for the doctor. Make sure you cancel everything for that day if you have to schedule for this clinic.

    I don't have a complaint about this location. Doctors, nurses, registry personally all were nice and respectful. I had appointment, didn't have wait for long, was assisted fast. Ladies at the registry are always polite whether coming in person or over the phone. So, I'm happy with this location And they are open till 10 pm every day

    I have been a patient of Riverside for half my life and as of the last 5-6 years the company has completely gone down HILL! And now with this switch to optum it is the WORST its ever been. Patient care is no longer on the forefront. You call and you get connected with someone not even in the united states that barely has the correct information. The calls take about 20 min now just to get a simple prescription refillef or an appointment made. This placr is an absolute disappointment the only thing that kept me here was my relationship with my doctor but I no longer can take this mess. Im done and no one else should be coming here its only a business now and thats all they care about

    I’ve been going to Riverside (before they became Optum) for over 20 years. The Secaucus location was the “Urgent Care” of the locations, opened Sundays, opened late. Opened when you needed them and did not want to visit an ER. The only catch was that you needed to be a patient. This past Sunday I found myself in need to see a doctor. I called about 8:45am and was advised I can go between 12-4pm as that’s when they will be accepting walk-ins. I arrive at 11:45am and was turned away and told the doctors are not accepting walk-ins today. The kid behind the counter was rude, showed no empathy and did not care about me being misinformed. Needless to say, I will be finding a new doctor. Since the transition with Optum doesn’t seem like the changes made benefit the patients.

    They try to trick you to make money. I went in to get my wrist checked and they gave me a xray referral. I got my xray done and nothing came back so I wanted to get my MRI done. So I called them couple times to get my MRI referral which is suppose to be free. I called them three times to get my MRI referral and they tell me "Please go in person if they don't get back to you". So I go in person just to get my MRI referral and they asked me to go to a room where the doctor would come and give me a referral. So me not being aware that they were going to charge me for this. The front desk did not clarify that I was going to get billed. The doctor literally came in for 5 seconds and did not even look at my injury. Nothing was done and I was billed for no reason. It's a trick from the front desk just to make money. At least they should clarify if you are getting billed. HORRIBLE SERVICE even when I tried to call the billing department. They made me call them 3-4 times before even giving me a proper answer.

    I was just in the office trying to get seen ,since this location is supposed to be a walk in office to avoid to go to emergency room. There waiting room was empty , and they didn't want to see me. I called the call center and gave me an appointment for later today, this could've been avoided . If they didn't have anyone there why not offer to see me instead of saying we don't take walk ins. I would understand if it was packed but there was no one ,literally no one in the waiting room. This company keeps getting worse at patient care

    HORRIBLE !!! Everytime I call to get a new prescription, the front desk puts the call on hold without saying a word. I was on hold for 15min which I timed. Called back 3 times and got the same results. The front desk is very unprofessional and bring shame to this dr.s office who's ivr msg includes all the awards received. As a medical coding specialist myself, it seems the front desk is aiming to sabotage this office. The rating is already a 2.5. It will get worse until the cancers are removed from the office.
