My
husband
was
racially
profiled
in
this
store
a
2nd
time
by
the
same
staff,
Ms
Morales.
My
husband
went
into
our
local
Edgewater
store
to
return
a
candle
that
was
recently
purchased
by
him
a
few
weeks
ago.
He
mentioned
to
Ms
Morales
that
he
didn’t
have
a
receipt
but
could
provide
the
card
used
with
the
original
purchase
and
he
only
wanted
to
exchange
the
candle.
She
very
adamantly
stated
he
couldn’t
do
it
and
took
the
candle
from
him
and
placed
it
behind
the
counter.
My
husband
left
the
store
and
called
other
stores
and
Corporate
to
find
out
that
the
return
would
be
accepted.
It
was
Ms
Morales
that
wasn’t
allowing
the
return.
He
had
other
staff
help
him
and
ended
up
finding
his
previous
purchase
and
helped
him
with
the
simple
exchange
and
now
he
found
a
candle
that
he
loves
pictures
below.
The
1st
incident
happened
with
Ms
Morales
in
2019
and
corporate
had
recall
of
this.
Not
only
was
this
embarrassing
but
it
makes
us
want
to
take
our
business
elsewhere.
He
could’ve
simply
walked
out
and
disregarded
this
issue,
but
this
is
for
all
the
others,
that
she
may
continue
to
do
this
to
that
may
not
speak
up.
Ms.
Morales
needs
to
be
reprimanded
for
this
type
of
behavior
that
reflects
badly
on
a
corporate
company.
