This is the biggest and most exquisite Georgia Blue I've ever visited. The huge chair 💺 is out.. there was an upstairs and down stairs. Tables and chairs outside . The employees were very polite and interactive. My waitress was attentive and made good recommendations.

Georgia Blue is a staple in the community. I’ve visited of the surrounding area Georgia Blue’s, and I have to say this one is my favorite. The rustic industrial but modern look, gives it amazing atmosphere. The customer service and quality of the food was second to none. I will definitely be back!

In town for family business! Great food, great service and a great location! Friday Special! Had lunch and dined alone! Took some back to the hotel for later!

For my meal, I went all out with the duck wontons, Jenn's Fried Green Tomatoes, and a cup of red bean's and rice. My friend got the pulled pork sliders. I overate, but it was the best lunch I had in a long time. It was a great inaugatory lunch at the newest Georgia Blue location in the Magnolia State. The service was good and the inside/outside looks great. Admittedly, it took a while to get our food, but that was the only hangup. I will defiantely come back in the future.

I didn’t realize that this would be my 2nd review. Our server, Robert, was excellent so I had to give him his props. Very attentive and prompt with service. Updated on when entrees would come etc. The only issue was I noticed that the restaurant had decreased serving size of entrees. They are much smaller yet still same price. Honestly, you are badly full of hungry. The good was delicious (Shrimp and grits) but the servings are way too small for price. This will most likely be a deterrent for me. I’m not a big eater but I do like to get my moneys worth.

***UPDATE*** 12/10/22 As I stated in my previous review, I planned to dine here again. So today, while Christmas shopping with my husband, we decided to give it a shot. He’s not eaten here before so I really wanted to get his take on it. We were both very pleased. The wait was very short , everyone was very nice and informative. Our waitress had to leave unexpectedly, but she came to the table to apologize and let us know who would be taking care of us for the remainder of our dinner. I thought this was really considerate and professional. Her replacement was very attentive as well. Now, on to the food….. He had the Shrimp and grits, and I will tell you straight up. I hate shrimp…. BUT even I would eat this! When I say it was absolutely delicious, that would be an understatement. They’ve jazzed up the typical recipe a bit and added corn, which sounds so simple… right? Trust me, it adds so much flair. You have to try this!! I had The Mardi Gras, I was sure about this dish when I ordered it. I was torn between the Mardi Gras and the Mahi Tacos. After speaking to the waitress and her explanation of the flavors married together in this dish, I chose it, and I am so grateful that I did. The Mahi was absolutely delicious. It was cooked to perfection. I love blackened Mahi but some people tend to over cook it. Not GB , it was so tender and juicy. The spinach and tomatoes were just as good as the fish itself. I ate nearly every bite of the spinach. My husband isn’t a big fan of cooked tomatoes or spinach but even he loved this dish. Then, as if all those things weren’t enough, they lay it upon a bed of mashed potatoes! I ate so much that I was sick…. I’ve included photos below. On my next visit….I plan to try the nachos and one of the beautiful, mouthwatering, deserts that I seen. 😊 The atmosphere was great. This location was a little different than the one I visited on Lakeland. The prices are a little high but the blue plate special was awesome! We had pot roast, although it was different than what I’m use to, I would definitely eat it again. Service was friendly and efficient. However, I give the 3 stars because my friend and I arrived ( table for two) the hostess told us it would be a minute because they were clearing a table ( which was fine) he then left to walk toward the kitchen and about 10 minutes later a waitress walked up , walked past me and got a couple that just walked through the door and proceeded to give them our table. She didn’t ask if I had been taken care of, if I was waiting on an order, she didn’t ask anything…. Just bypassed us and sat the next couple. We were then forced to wait another 10 minutes. This wouldn’t have been an issue other than the fact that we were on our lunch break and in a hurry. ***UPDATE*** After their very sweet reply, I wanted to say that I will definitely dine here again! I really enjoyed it.

I ordered a salad and Gyro with fries. The salad didn't have any toppings. I had to ask salad toppings. The Gyro looked like it was frozen meat.

This place is a must stop at. The inside was so cool, with seats that are like old cars. Rustic design and very suiting to Mississippi. I ordered the shrimp and fried chicken pasta. I was sceptic but it was one of their most popular dishes. It was SO good! I followed it up with a GB Doughnut from the dessert menu. This has to be the best fried bread pudding I’ve ever had. It was a large serving easily split between 2 people. The sweet tea is sweet! Overall everything was great and my server Eli was very attentive. Great experience!

Not sure why my previous review was deleted by Google..... First time visitor for 2023 and we were pleasantly surprised by the taste, presentation of the food and the staff. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the entrées. The Bayou Catfish was suggested to me and I will challenge you to it as well. Very savory cheesy grits with crispy fried catfish. The texture was on point!! To the staff and chefs, awesome job and we will be back!

Cute place. Service was great. The food however left a lot to be desired. The appetizer came with the entree. The appetizer was perfect. The entree was stone cold. The gravy had started to try to separate it was so cold pn top of the rice which was cold. The mixed squash and zuchini was alsp cold as was the steak. The steak was cooked correctly but was cold enough it didn't want to melt the butter on top of it. When I sent it back because it was cold it was obvious they put the sides in the microwave, which ruins rice and makes veggies shrivel and the steak was still cold. Based on the rave reviews I had about this placed from friends in the area, I expected much better.

Stopped here for some pre-wedding beverages. Was so good we had to come back for brunch. Tried the fish - was absolutely delicious. Also serve a tasty side salad. In addition, the wait staff was super friendly and fun to talk to in the bar.

Donovan (our server) did a really good job, friendly and professional. Food was really good, well prepared. The only thing I seen that would have helped him (Donovan) on his total sales for the night, ask customers about desert. Don't just ask, make some suggestions ( higher priced items) to the customer. The more you sale, the more you make and the customer feels like you are talking special care of them. Really nice place and atmosphere. Will definitely stop in on next trip to Mississippi.

My experience at Georgia Blue in Madison was terrible! Stop putting messages on your menu about how sorry you are about the bad service and fix it. A better trained server could handle multiple tables at one time. Our service was awful. He left us sitting there for 15 minutes with a baby waiting to order. He did manage to take the orders of tables that sat after us though. Once we did get to order, I tried to order a burger medium. He told me they only cook to WELL DONE for “consistency”. That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. So what you’re telling me is the kitchen is only capable of “consistently” over cooking food. Once we received our food, the food runner who dropped it off was also rude and had an attitude. All we needed was ketchup and bbq sauce. I will never visit this location again.

The margaritas were the best part of our visit. The bartender definitely makes them with love ❤️ If you have a party of 10 or more you have to pay on 1 check and they can only take 3 cards so plan your group and money accordingly They cook the burgers medium well no exceptions. I was a little skeptical but the Blue burger came still juicy so it was good Though the server was nice she was very flustered and our experience suffered a little

Service was extremely excellent , food and drinks /alcoholic beverages also great. Salad with lamb was tasty and great. The amount of romaine rib was surprisingly unusual, Leafy was definitely expected. Otherwise all was extremely good. I would recommend feasting at restaurant but skip the salads.

The atmosphere is well done. Food was overall good. Portion sizes were a bit on the small side - especially for southern comfort food. Service was slow, but I suspect employment issues in today’s labor market. For more content check us out on the gram: @Bobbymontg and @HeathersLG

This was my first experience at Georgia Blue, and it was very good. I ended up having lunch there two days in a row. The restaurant was very clean with a rustic theme. The whiskey barrel wall was really cool, but I wish I would have been able to sample their whiskey at the restaurant. The first day I had the shrimp tacos with chips and queso. The tacos were awesome, and had a great spicy sauce that really made them stand out. The chips and queso was what you would expect, but very good as well. The second day I had the Mahi tacos, and they were excellent as well. Too many onions, but that's jusy my personal preference. All in all, this is a great place to grab something quick but very savory. Would recommend!
