Egypt
trip
from
July
10th
to
17th
2018:
2
days
Cairo
followed
by
a
Nile
cruise
Basically
we
were
very
satisfied
with
the
organization
on
site.
All
transfers
worked
exemplary
and
the
two
guides
Sharif
and
Mina
were
really
excellent.
However,
there
were
also
things
that
spoiled
the
holiday
pleasure.
The
booked
flight
from
Cairo
to
Luxor
was
missing
from
the
travel
documents
submitted.
A
corresponding
e-mail
with
a
request
for
a
callback
and
a
message
on
the
voicebox
was
not
answered.
On
the
day
of
departure
I
reached
a
Dahabtours
employee
by
phone
who
told
me
that
the
flight
ticket
would
be
handed
over
by
the
tour
guide
in
Cairo.
We
asked
him
about
this
as
soon
as
we
arrived,
but
he
had
no
information
about
it.
Thanks
to
his
commitment,
however,
he
managed
to
send
a
copy
of
the
booking
confirmation
by
the
next
day.
It
was
really
annoying,
however,
that
the
booked
“all-inclusive”
service
for
€
80
per
person
was
not
offered
during
the
Nile
cruise.
We
were
told
that
all
drinks
with
imported
ingredients
were
excluded.
I
even
had
to
discuss
whether
or
not
orange
juice
is
included
in
the
“all-inclusive”
option,
as
oranges
may
also
be
imported.
What
is
left
is
essentially
only
tea,
mineral
water,
orange
juice
and
Egyptian
beer
(which
was
hardly
consumed).
The
drinks
on
the
day
of
departure
had
to
be
paid
for
separately
as
Dahabtours
had
already
settled
with
the
cruise
operator.
We
paid
a
total
of
around
€
70
(verifiable
with
the
cash
ticket)
of
drinks
for
€
160.
There
is
one
point
deduction
for
this.
There
is
another
point
deduction
for
the
fact
that
Dahabtours
did
not
even
reply
to
my
complaint
in
this
regard.
Finally,
it
should
also
be
mentioned
that
instead
of
the
bus
transfer
from
Luxor
to
Cairo,
there
was
no
return
transfer
by
train.
The
pick-up
from
the
train
station
in
Cairo
and
the
transfer
to
the
hotel
went
smoothly.
Summary:
excellent
organization
on
site
as
well
as
hard-working
and
excellent
travel
guides.
However,
I
found
the
behavior
of
von
Dahbtours
Germany
with
regard
to
the
booked
and
paid
“all-inclusive”
service
to
be
unacceptable.

Ägypten
Reise
vom
10.
Bis
17.
Juli
2018:
2
Tage
Kairo
mit
anschließender
Nilkreuzfahrt
Grundsätzlich
waren
wir
mit
der
Organisation
vor
Ort
sehr
zufrieden.
Alle
Transfers
funktionierten
vorbildlich
und
die
beiden
Reiseführer
Sharif
und
Mina
waren
wirklich
hervorragend.
Allerdings
gab
es
auch
Dinge
welche
das
Urlaubsvergnügen
trübten.
In
den
übermittelten
Reiseunterlagen
fehlte
der
gebuchte
Flug
von
Kairo
nach
Luxor.
Auf
eine
entsprechende
E-Mail
mit
der
Bitte
um
Rückruf
sowie
auf
eine
Nachricht
auf
der
Sprachbox
wurde
nicht
geantwortet.
Am
Tag
des
Abfluges
erreichte
ich
telefonisch
doch
noch
eine
Mitarbeiterin
von
Dahabtours,
welche
mir
erklärte,
das
Flugtickets
werde
vom
Reiseführer
in
Kairo
übergeben.
Dieser
wurde
von
uns
diesbezüglich
gleich
nach
der
Ankunft
gefragt,
er
hatte
aber
keinerlei
Informationen
darüber.
Dank
seines
Engagements
gelang
es
ihm
aber
bis
zum
nächsten
Tag
eine
Kopie
der
Buchungsbestätigung
zu
schicken.
Wirklich
ärgerlich
war
aber,
dass
die
gebuchte
„All-inklusive“
Leistung
um
80,-€
pro
Person
während
der
Nilkreuzfahrt
nicht
angeboten
wurde.
Man
erklärte
uns,
sämtliche
Getränke
mit
importierten
Zutaten
seien
davon
ausgenommen.
Ich
musste
sogar
darüber
diskutieren
ob
Orangensaft
in
der
„All-inklusiv“
Option
enthalten
ist,
da
Orangen
eventuell
auch
importiert
werden.
Übrig
geblieben
ist
im
Wesentlichen
nur
Tee,
Mineralwasser,
Orangensaft
und
Ägyptischen
Bier
(welches
kaum
konsumiert
wurde).
Die
Getränke
am
Abreisetag
mussten
zusätzlich
separat
bezahlt
werden,
da
Dahabtours
mit
dem
Kreuzfahrtanbieter
bereits
abgerechnet
hatte.
Insgesamt
haben
wir
für
ca.
70,-€
(nachweisbar
mit
den
Kassabons)
an
Getränkekonsum
160,-€
bezahlt.
Dafür
gibt
es
einen
Punkt
Abzug.
Einen
weiteren
Punkt
Abzug
gibt
es
dafür,
dass
Dahabtours
auf
meine
diesbezügliche
Reklamation
nicht
einmal
geantwortet
hat.
Abschließend
sei
auch
noch
erwähnt,
dass
anstelle
des
Bustransfers
von
Luxor
nach
Kairo
nicht
erfolgte,
sondern
der
Rücktransfer
mit
der
Bahn
erfolgte.
Die
Abholung
vom
Bahnhof
in
Kairo
und
der
Transfer
ins
Hotel
erfolgten
jedoch
problemlos.
Resümee:
ausgezeichnete
Organisation
vor
Ort
sowie
bemühte
und
hervorragende
Reiseführer.
Das
Verhalten
des
von
Dahbtours
Deutschland
bezüglich
der
gebuchten
und
bezahlten
„All-inklusive“
Leistung
empfand
ich
aber
als
unakzeptabel.
