We had a Lagos Weekend Getaway and a friend recommended RSVP for our Friday dinner and I would say I wasn't disappointed. As much as we wanted the poolside seating, we couldn't get that and had to stick to the indoors which wasn't bad at all. We had to make reservations by phone to get a table for 2 at the restaurant. The ambience was good, I think some slow old-school jamz could do a lot of good at the indoor seating on a Friday night. We had a nice fine dining experience and if there was anything I would change, maybe have customers converse in lower tones so they don't disturb other customers. There was so much noise coming from different groups, it was really distracting, We just wanted to have our dinner without feeling like being in Lagos traffic. The service was top-notch! From our welcome to the lady attending to us recommending drinks and meals, it was just perfect. The food and drinks were really good too, maybe a little pricey but really good. I enjoyed the salmon I had, it was the best salmon I have ever tasted. If you're looking for a 5-star restaurant on the Island, I'll definitely recommend RSVP but do not forget to book a reservation.

RSVP is one of those standout restaurants in Lagos.. the experience much like SLoW is hard to beat. Menu is very creative and you can tell there is some passion behind it. The restaurant has a very authentic classic style indoor and combines that with a super cool outdoor pool area that gets really busy on weekends. If you could only go to one restaurant in Lagos, this is probably it.

Food: started off with the famous salmon carpaccio which was good but nothing mind blowing as well as the chicken pops which were nice and crunchy but it was more crunchy batter vs chicken in my opinion. For mains we had the chicken curry katsu and the dirty burger. The curry Katsu was good although again I thought the breading made it a bit too crunchy for me. The dirty burger was alright as well. I think the patty was a little underseasoned but that’s my personal preference. For drinks had the virgin blueberry mojito and a tropical drink whose name I can’t remember. Drinks were great! For dessert- had the famous bread pudding and it was delicious and worth the hype. Also tried the crème brûlée which was pretty good as well. Ambience/cleanliness: clean and lovely ambience both inside and outside with great decor. Could be nice for a date night or catch up with friends. Customer service: I called to make a reservation the morning I was planning to go and was told they were already fully booked and my party would have to sit outside. When I arrived for some reason they couldn’t find the reservation I made the same day but thankfully the manager came in and gave us a table in what appeared to be a somewhat empty restaurant (there were probably 3-4 tables filled). This was the only unfortunate and frustrating part of my experience. Otherwise we had a good server Doris who was polite and attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. Parking: I don’t recall cars being parked in the main space so I’ll say you’ll have to find street parking if you plan on visiting. Cost: N112,000 for a party of 3 Overall had a great time and would visit again. I can see why this is a trusted go-to spot in Lagos.

A new favorite place in Lagos. We came for lunch but ended up having brunch. My husband had steak and eggs, and the steak was perfectly seasoned and delectably tender. My Croque monsieur made me feel like I was back in France, creamy and rich. Would highly recommend.

RSVP Lagos This place piqued my curiosity when I drove past one day. I looked it up and became even more curious when I saw it was listed on TripAdvisor as the 4th top restaurant in Lagos. I stopped by weeks later to dine in, and it did not disappoint…with the only pain area being the lack of parking space. Asides the 4 parking spaces juxtaposing the fence, parking is along the busy street. At your own risk, of course. RSVP is described online as “an upscale fine-dining American restaurant.” It doesn’t fall short of this description. The aesthetic execution and attention to detail are almost flawless. Framed art/pictures/quotes sit on some wall sections, and a lot more affixed on a slanted ceiling ✅ A section of the wall with gorgeous wallpaper ✅ Automatic vertical blinds which roll up neatly by dusk, to reveal a glass wall ✅ Plush leather sofa seating and leather-wrapped seats ✅ Wood panel flooring to attenuate footfall sounds ✅ Superb central air conditioning ✅ High end cutlery and bespoke dishes ✅ Plants and greenery well distributed ✅ Highly informed, polite and helpful staff ✅ Soft music which doesn’t interfere with conversations ✅ Quality liquid soap and dispensers in clean, air conditioned toilets ✅ A choice of interior and exterior (pool side) seating; the latter with a plethora of fans to keep you comfortable in the searing tropical heat ✅ I can go on and on. I was very pleased with the clean, crisp layout and the brilliant use of space here. The online menu has a very clean interface, with detailed descriptions of meals/drinks and their prices. Pricing is premium, of course. A 3-course meal for two, including drinks will average N110,000. I had the fried & grilled squid (Calamari) as a starter, steamed Grouper Fish - listed as Fish for two on the menu - with sides of Green Goddess Rice and Double Fried Plantain. The fish (deboned for your convenience, thankfully) comes with a bread basket and French Fries. It was smaller than I’d expected, but a culinary masterpiece. Carrot Cake was the dessert, and the chef was kind enough to add grilled potato slices on the house. The meals were superbly cooked, and I really enjoyed every bite. The service was the best I’ve received in a very long time - special kudos to Sola who was very helpful and cheerfully so! I have been around quite a bit and I can testify that RSVP is one of your best options for premium dining in Lagos. Highly recommended for date nights and group dining, especially when you’re not on a budget.

It was my birthday dinner and it was definitely a lovely experience for the family. Service was great, staff friendly and helpful. Overall rating would be an 8 from me and yes, I would definitely recommend.

Definitely one of Lagos’s premier restaurants. Has been around for a while has a great ambience for dinner or drinks. Well attended on Friday and Saturday nights for drinks and vibes especially at the outdoor section. The food is good especially if you’re in the mood for gourmet bistro fare. Grab a few things to share it’s the best way to experience the food. Grab a seat at the bar to have a good cocktail and conversation.

A superb dining experience in the heart of Lagos. A stunning venue, fantastic service and delicious food. The decor is magnificent. The inside of the restaurant has a very tall ceiling, it gives the venue a sense of space and freedom. The highlights of the evening were the tempura prawns, lamb shank and mushroom risotto. They have a fantastic drinks menu with a good selection of local beers. There's also a wide range of South African and European wines available. The back of the restaurant has a swimming pool and bar. The decor here is really stunning as well. This area is transformed in to a club type venue on some evenings.

Very elegant and beautifully designed! At the heart of Lagos, stands unique in design, class and quality offered either in service or in the order itself. The place is really nice, yet, more expensive than the surrounding restaurants in the same area. Above all, we enjoyed our time there.

I had a great time at RSVP, my second time there. Food was great, nice ambience. It’s also not as pricey as people say it is. I think it’s affordable. My friend complained about her food and the chef made another one which she enjoyed. We had a great time.

I had their lobster sliders, it came highly recommended, I say I recommend but not as a full meal, if you are on a budget better have the full burger, but you know the downside of having a full burger on a date 😬their pasta hasn’t been influenced by the Nigerian touch, I mean it’s not bad but wasn’t great either, maybe because we chose to modify the seafood meal for a chicken meal. All round it was a good experience, their lightening is good for selfies, it’s also very good as a first date spot, as it is cozy & they do not have loud music.

I had my first burger and I didn't regret it. It was awesome experience. Ambient environment with awesome experience. There are different varieties to choose from. Its nice place for group dining. Outdoor seating available also. Not just burger there are lots to eat around. They have good tea options.

Great restaurant that serves good quality food. You can tell that every single bit of the food is both fresh and high quality, as opposed to stuff from a can or packet. Absolutely love the seafood pasta. It was rich and you could tell the pasta is handmade, fresh. The cocktails too were absolutely divine. The new ambience is nice and cozy (but a little on dark). Staff is attentive. It's definitely not cheap. Average meal is about 25k and average starter is about 12k. I guess it's meant to be fine dining. Dropped a star because at the prices they charge (100k for two people), the complimentary starter is very VERY stingy. They were basic roadside groundnuts that couldn't have cost more than N200. There are restaurants where you pay much less and get better complimentaries like hot specialty breads and jams. Also, the waiters corner you into a 10% tip (which was about 10k) for just doing their job serving a table of only 2 people. Otherwise, good experience.

The food here is fantastic and the service is just as good and VERY fast. I came twice, once as a party of 3 and as a party of 10 and the food & drinks came out every bit as quickly both times. Service wise, the servers are very attentive & knowledgeable about the menu if you have any questions at all. I LOVE that they have no issue telling you exactly what dishes they personally prefer and which ones are more of a hit/better to order if you’re stuck on deciding. The server on my 2nd visit was so confident about their Quinoa salad he told my dad to hold him personally responsible if it wasn’t the best quinoa salad he’d ever had lol (we didn’t have to because it was!) Ambience wise, the decor & vibe was just lovely. Manages to feel both classy yet also cozy. The tables are really large so they’re able to add an extra place setting to a table if needed without anyone feeling squished. Food-wise: SALT & PEPPER CAULIFLOWER: Was very good! The breading was perfectly crispy, cauliflower perfectly crunchy - and the chili tahini dip was great. It’s not the best I’ve had (I think the breading could use more flavor) and relies on the dip for most of it’s flavor, but it’s solid option you won’t be unhappy you ordered. 3.5/5 BEEF SLIDERS: The BEST sliders I’ve had across many countries in a long time. I went silent while eating it because my brain was just trying to process the amazing flavors happening in my mouth. It’s SO good it’s actually ridiculous. 5/5 QUINOA SALAD: Amazing! Was my first time having this kind of salad so I have nothing to compare it to, but I think it may have set an impossibly high bar. 5/5 CRAB TACITOS: The person who ordered this described it as incredible. 5/5 SPICY HUMMUS: Very good! The hummus was well spiced and the nuts added an interesting texture. The soft warm bread was perfect (and you can also ask for it to be made a little crispier if you prefer a harder texture). 4/5 LAMB SHANK: Very good! Fall off the bone tender just as described. The lamb is seasoned but not particularly bursting with flavor, and is another dish that relies on the accompaniments. 3.5/5 CREAMY MUSHROOM PASTA: Delicious! If you love pastas with truffle cream sauces you’ll be so happy with this. You can also add protein (chicken, prawns) if you wish. 4.5/5 GNOCCHI: Amazing! Even better than the creamy mushroom pasta. 5/5 WILD MUSHROOM RISOTTO: Was described as extremely delicious by the person who ordered. 5/5 TRUFFLE POTATO MASH (Side): Not particularly memorable or delicious. Only the faintest hint of truffle. Good consistency but rather bland compared to the standard set with their appetizers & mains. 2/5 I also adore their to-go packaging. Depending on how much food is leftover, they use these tall skinny wine bags that look super elegant. Their outdoor lounge is GORGEOUS and has a speakeasy-style entrance to it from the bathrooms, which was a very fun find! Great food, great service, great ambiance, great packaging - absolutely great everything!

🇱🇧 owned, considered to be among the best restaurants in Lagos 🇳🇬 - I heard only good things so I had to test it myself. ➡️We got a table at the pool side - nice atmosphere and design but unfortunately not a strong breeze cooling you down like at other venues closer to the water. Interestingly, when making the reservation they told me that only pool side is available but when we left the venue the restaurant was nearly empty 🤔 🥗 Food was good. Not outstandingly good but high quality. 🧑🏾‍💼👩🏾‍💼 Service was good and attentive but also not on the level e.g. of Slow (interestingly it is the same owner) 💵 Prices are fair and not ridiculous like e.g. at Circa. What can be improved? The music 🎶 outside was a bit loud - gave more a feeling of a bar 🍸 than a restaurant. Especially in the early evening when you want to have dinner and a good conversation, music should be only very low in the background. FAZIT: Overall a good place to go out. I will come again. Four stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Dinner at RSVP was superb. It was difficult to pick from the menu. There were vegetarian options which I chose from. And my choice was perfect. We were served non-alcoholic drinks and groundnut on the house. The food came in timely and was well prepared too. The reception was really nice and the waiters went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well attended to. Prices were fair and affordable. In all, it was a god experience

Great place. For a Friday evening, the indoor was calm and not busy at all. Amazing food. Had the seafood pappardelle, which was supposed to be with prawns and calamari, but these were very sparse. Guava mocktail was so good. And the Blueberry Cheesecake is a must have😍😍😍😍😍 simply divine. I know I have to get this again❤️ I mean, just look at the smiley plate of dessert🥹🥹🥹 Special shout out to Julliet, who waited on us wearing a smile always and gave us great menu recommendations, and Chinenye with the beautiful contacts🥰🥰🥰 I curiously wondered why guests are not allowed to park on the premises, maybe because of the garden nature, I would never know, but that's a lot of parking space being saved and guests struggle to park outside on the streets.

Welcomed by cheerful staff. Food was good and did not take too long before being served. One thing I loved about the salad option on the menu was the variety. The Guava/Strawbwery mix was so good. Covid protocols observed. Sanitizer use and temperature chexk at the entrance.Tablea are well separated. Pretty neat environment with fine view of the lime trees outside. Wood and mirror fittings looked really good.

Although I didn't spend much time here, it was worth it. The meals looked and tasted delicious. This place is well suited for an evening hang out as the pool behind gives a lovely view. They have out door fans to cool you. The wait for our meals was short as the place wasn't crowded. Worth every second of your time. The waiters are nice, attentive and neat.

The service was top notch. Beautiful ambience. The food was quite pricey and very small though it was filling oddly. Their vegan option is not truly vegan. You have to totally spell everything out for them. Great dining experience in all.

This is a classy place to hang out. I recommend for a first date if you have some extra cash to spare. The staff are polite and obviously well trained. They paid attention to small details. They did not remove the cheque nor the gratuity until we left the restaurant- most people don't even know it is rude to do so. The menu is somewhat limited, but has something for everyone. I needed a sugar rush, so I went and got these..... I would definitely be going back.

The food ordered was ok, nothing fantastic and a little overpriced, in my opinion. We had to wait over an hour for our meals, perhaps because it was fathers day. The mojito from the bar was average. The staff that attended to us was a little all over the place because he was the only waiter attending to tables even though there were other staff on the restaurant floor. I also noticed some staff standing around wore long faces and had unapproachable demeanour. Infact, one completely looked through me when I beckoned to him, acted like he didn't see me calling his attention.

Fine Dining at its best!!! Every dish I tasted was enjoyable and pleasing to my palate. From an impressive cauliflower starter to an elaborate roasted salmon main dish to a luscious brownie dessert. Excellent food with great texture. Yum 100% PS: RSVP New Year’s Eve party is the best i have EVER experienced.

This place was just there. Good ambience and good food. However, I don't think I got that feel a great delivery of service from RSVP. For the money spent, I expected much more of a first class delivery of service. Great for fine dining, if you are looking for romantic dine out, this is your go to place. I enjoyed the meal although I feel is it overpriced for how it is. The waiters are okay, but they can do more to make the diners feel very welcomed.

Samantha’s is very stunning and cozy. The staffs are very warm and willing to help out with everything. However, don’t expect to get what you initially want to order. It took me about 20 minutes to place my order because the waiter kept saying the things that I wanted weren’t available or not available. While I was waiting I had the chance to play Ludo with my friends and have good conversations. The food took an extra 20 at 30 minutes to get out of the kitchen. The pasta was very tasty, not spicy at all. The lamb chops are the star of the show hère. I’ve been here twice and ordered the same thing and it tastes the same, it’s just amazing. The tomato sauce on the side is a little questionable it’s like tomato paste in a cup and that’s meant to be ketchup I’m guessing but it’s no where near that. The pepper sauce can also choke you if you’re not used to pepper. The burger was basic, a little medium rare on the inside and properly cooked on the outside, nothing extra ordinary about it, the fries was well seasoned. Would give the burger a solid 5/10. Apart from the cozy interior this restaurant also has extra room right in front for smoking and relaxing. It’s also close to other nice small restaurants and cafe.

It’s a really pretty and cozy space. The ambience is really nice also. The waitstaff were incredibly helpful and polite, I really enjoyed them. The food was delicious and my cocktail was so good. They only had crisp wine though, in case you like sweet wine The wait time for the food wasn’t too long, I don’t remember how long but I know it wasn’t such a long time. All in all 8/10

Top rated fine dining restaurant in Lagos. Good is top notch as well as the plating. Service can be iffy as they are always fully booked on the weekends and it becomes too noisy to have a conversation over the sim of voices and super loud music. The pool area has very loud fans that make things worse but the manager was nice enough to adjust the setting for some time . They do pay Attention to detail, have a revolved menu and keep the crowd happy. The Sea bass is the best thing on the menu. But then again, rabbit lasagnette, duck breast and jumbo prawns are not bad options. Just don’t forget to have some dessert, the bread pudding is a must

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Lagos, the waiters know their onion, and they can easily help you make a proper meal choice. Their food and drinks are amazing, the ambiance is top notch. But be ready to spend.

Lovely ambience with good music. Chicken burger is a 5, the steak rib eye is not bad. Lovely mashed potatoes. They can add more variation of known cocktails so the stress of trying an unknown cocktail wont be there. Overall, a great location and place for friends to hang out.

I don't know who needs to hear this but as a single lady I appreciate being left alone while I enjoy my money in peace. if like myself you dislike random men walking up to you when you're out on your own then you are in luck. We ended up splitting both meals to share. If you like cocktails, I'd recommend the one with passion fruit. There was a healthy balance between the rum and the juice. Total damage was about 30,000 naira

An amazing place to be. I love the serene environment and food. Although the prices are on the high sides it is worth it. Sundays are the best days for a family outing at Cactus restaurant, there is children play area, a private room for families/ couples, an ice cream area and an outdoor area for everyone. If you are planning a family outing, have at least 25000 naira upward. They accept transfers and cash not sure about POS.

Cactus.. I went on a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty busy and filled. I'm a sucker for good customer service and they got it. The meals are just okay wouldn't say great.. Prices are fair because the portions are large as well. I love the fact that they give bread while waiting for your order but I want to know why Aquafina 1litre is #900 and why did I have both VAT and consumption tax on my bill.

Customer service is one important element of any business and I have to say that the Cactus Team are spot on. Our meals came in so fast that we were shocked. Try the barbecue wing,chicken wrap,stir fried noodle and Nojito with a splash of tequila #thank me later

Great experience, very nice ambient. It's ambience varies from corner to corner and this was achieved by varying the furniture type and arrangement. I also feel the health and safety measure is top notch. Great out space.

My second visit here. Loved the place. Fried Calamari & Dynamite Shrimps were absolutely perfect but did not enjoy the Salmon tartare so much. Their new Grill Combo bbq was amazing, also enjoyed the Shrimp & Chicken pasta. Will definitely visit again ☺

Cactus Restaurant has a beautiful homely ambience. The staff are friendly and courteous and their services are top notch. The food is tastily delicious and the turn around time is great. Cactus restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor section and allows for relaxation with a calm water front view. Highly recommended.

The service staff were about slow to respond, we literally walked from the entrance to the outside seating area and then back inside before someone attended to us. I got the chicken breast and one was overcooked but the other was cooked perfectly, portion sizes are good and the mash potato was heavenly

Been eating at this spot with my family since I was 10 years old. Got at least 9 birthday cakes from there in my lifetime - the chocolate and vanilla mixed sponge cake is decadent. Great food, lovely ambience and the service is good too. Favorite is the festival salad

Lovely restaurant with a lively ambience. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and noticed that the restaurant seems to have lots of families and group outing visits on Sundays. The meal came in excellent timing and the quality of the food was good. I will definitely visit again.

Well, the meals here are awesome, cooked at the right temperature and you get that even tenderness in their chicken meals. It's hidden of Ozumba Mbadiwe in VI, it has a lovely ambience and the staff are very courteous.

I love Cactus' food. It's just amazing. 5 stars for that. But if you want to be delivered it's another story. I never get them to pick up my calls on the first try. In fact one day I had to call them for 1h before being able to order 😪😪. 0 star for that.

Its easy to locate with adequate parking space. The staff are courteous and helpful. The food is ok and reasonably priced to an extent. I had the Grilled Combo BBQ which was ok. Recommended for people with an expansive pallete. Even though Google recommended it as a family restaurant, I wouldn't classify it as that. It has an adult feel to it though with a mini play area for kids .

Nice ambience

The ambiance is cool and the waiters were attentive yet non-intrusive. The flavours were mostly good and when I complained of the bland tasting chicken, the staff were apologetic and I got desert on the house.

Lovely ambience. Sat outside as it was a bit chilly which was just fine comfy and relaxing. Lovely decor on the inside as well. The food and smoothies were great! I really enjoyed them and appreciated the inclusion of veggies. The pricing is fair but could be reduced a notch to enhance the value for money feel. Customer service was good too. The rest room was clean which I appreciated although there were wall geckos on the outside which I assume was because it rained that day. No complains beyond that. Overall a lovely place to talk business and/or relax.

The food and smoothies are very enjoyable. Also Called the burger bar. Their assortment of burgers is mouth watering and very tasty. The environment is very cosy with a homely feel to it. And you can choose to dine indoor or outdoor whichever you prefer.

I visited Samantha's Bistro in February 2020 and was pleasantly surprised. It was quite hidden but Google map got us there. I was impressed with the parking compared to a lot of other restaurants in Lagos. It was well lit, the music wasn't too loud. .. Perfect ambience! I had their garlic bread, chicken wings and raspberry iced tea. I love spices and could have used an extra dash of garlic and pepper. Besides that it was 10/10.

Update, November 2019 Not as great as before. Cocktail recommendation: French Kiss --------- Everything here is great. The food, the service, the space. The space is really nice. It's not great foe pictures though. There's also an outdoor area. It rained the day I went so I didn't stay there. The burger menu is a lot. Surprisingly. They have great variety. There's a bookshelf and lots of magazines for you to peruse as you wait. You can also play board and card games.

The bistro is currently offering limited service as per the covid19 regulations for hospitality sector but it's open for delivery and pick-up. There's a good variety of pastry and meal offerings available for the discerning food lover. The ambience is lovely, with a cosy interior and warm exterior out under a covered area. I can't wait til it's fully reopened, it promises much more.

They had varieties of wine but all from Argentina, I had snail and yam chips and I loved it. They outside seat area had fantastic wood carvings and good ventilation, it's perfect for 4-5 hangout of friends.

Visited Madojutimi Restaurant (MR) last weekend. They had a good selection of food like amala, lafun, eba etc. They had the usual rice, beans, moin moin etc. They had a good selection of beef, pomo, croacker, cat fish, stock fish etc. The staff, especially the waiters were okay. They were slow and gave two of us be instead of lafun. They quickly apologised and replaced it with lafun. A nice and big lovely place to eat.

Kai, I was looking for where to eat Amala, Ewedu and Ogunfe and I stumbled on this place. I was satisfied.

I would say the restaurant lives on its old glory. While the restaurant is strategically located, with a beautiful building, the food is not anywhere memorable as the name of the restaurant implies. With no competition in the area, the restaurant remains the only hope for anyone seeking to get a decent meal.

Very disappointed. This was supposed to be the highlight of my dining experience during my visit. My husband's food came but not mine because the waiter forgot. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. My husband shared his with me because I was so hungry. By the time it arrived I was too annoyed to eat it. They did offer us a free dessert which was delicious and why I was generous with the two stars. The food was just ok. Not at all what I expected. Very disappointed.

The ambience is great. Not your typical restaurant. The place was lit to give a cozy homely vibe. The type of place you go with your partner or someone special. The food was great too, the portions are large and well served. The food tastes great as well so it’s quite great return on your money. The flaw is the drinks. The drinks are not well mixed and they don’t taste well. Some are so bland that they taste like water. Overall it’s a great restaurant to go for 2-4 people. Not loud and well hidden. RSVP indeed.

The meal was decent. The salmon laid on that bed of greens was a beauty to behold; the sauce though, didn’t knock me off my seat. Loved the mushrooms; soo juicy, best mushroom I’ve had in Lagos.

The experience was generally okay. The waiters were very cordial and receptive. Had to sit outside which was not very comfortable for me personally but since I had not made a reservation and they told me they were fully booked there was nothing I could do. So if you're going there on the weekend, maybe give them a call to reserve a table inside.

Very lovely restaurant with outdoor lounge area, which was where I ate. The DJ was so good! Fantastic switch from pop, R&B, hip-hop I had gnocchi in cream sauce which was so delicious. Got tired of it towards the end cos of the sauce but enjoyed it nonetheless. Would certainly go there again.

Good dinner and ambience Instinctively made the decision to come here off the recommendation of a family-friend earlier on in the day. Dress code: there was a wide ranging variety of patrons dressed from suits & dresses to jeans and flip flops. I myself had shown up in a black t-shirt underneath a blue denim top, black track pants and a pair of grey running shoe. With no prior reservations, I was seated inside in the main room across the indoor bar within minutes. Treated to a shot of a rather sweet mocktail upon seating. For my drink, I ordered RSVP’s twist on the moscow mule called the “Moscow Pony”. I liked it with the exception of having bits of ginger in the drink — despite the freshness having real ginger provides, I could have done with these bits being strained out of the drink. The main course of choice for the night was the salmon with a side of veggies. This was a salmon tail seared in butter placed on potatoes & veggies - broccoli & asparagus. The meal was well-done and quite tasty. For dessert, got the Vanilla & blueberry cheesecake. With the cake having the texture of whip cream, it wasn’t my favorite thing of the night. Service was relatively well-paced and the waiters were attentive in an environment that was well set-up and well-lit with music at a good volume. In summary, the drink, meal & service were a hit, not so much this particular dessert but I look forward to being back.

I visited with expectation from what i experienced before and it was a total mess in many ways. 🥩 Before this place was about quality steak, which was also emphasized from the menu itself but their new menu didn't have any competitive/differentiated point from other places any more. Steak was ok and appetizers were disappointing. 🛼 Also kids were running around making terrible noise indoors and me bringing their attention to ease it didn't do anything. And the renovation wasn't very pronouncing either to the extent that my colleague didn't even recognize the difference. 🚫 The serve attending to out table was the only good point about tonight. It wasn't worth the bill at all. Never coming back.

Even though I've been here a few times, I got a completely different experience this time around. Was meeting with an old friend and we just had drinks. The band that played was sensational. The atmosphere, decor, service, vibe, ambience, and energy gave me exactly what I was looking for which was a cool place to just chill and have an easy evening. I highly recommend folks sit outside by the bar/pool area if they are looking for a place to relax and unwind.
