Was a fantastic experience to be here. The decor is on point. Seating by the ocean side, this is a great spot for a date or meeting. Quite lively on Sundays. Has inside and outside seating. Also has a pastry shop and a great selection of gelato and ice cream. There's also a playground to keep the kids engaged. Enjoyed my salmon tagliatelle. The Mexican Draught was a bit pricey but enjoyable nonetheless. Our waitress was also quick. And the food was prepared in great time. Will be back again.

My experience at Cactus was wonderful - great ambience indoors or outdoors by the lagoon, a wide variety of great food (yummy and tasty with delicious flavors), good service as their waiters were readily available to help. The wait time for food was about 15 minutes, and you’re served hot bread buns with soft margarine for the wait. It’s a kid-friendly place as there’s a designated play area for children outside; also the outdoors have good views at night.

A nicely priced restaurant with beautiful ambience. It is so refreshing especially if you are seated outside at the back facing the Lagoon. They have got an array of mouth watering English menu among others, with ice creams, baked goods and more. You'll satisfy gratings here. The attendants were so reasonable and behaved professional and were calm. Not a dramatic place at all. If you like peace of mind, pay CACTUS a visit.

Cactus has always been my chilling spot for relaxation and it’s quite a therapeutic experience. Their service is topnotch and food is excellent. On this day I came in for lunch and I had their barbecue chicken pizza and ice tea

Oldie but goodie. The food is still just as nice as the first time I went many many years ago. I first fined at cactus in my teenage years. They must be doing something right! We even had to wait for a table. No regrets though. I had a delicious time. The salads were so so good.

Very nice environment, both the indoor and outdoor were nice! Suitable for group and individual dining. I great location for relaxing because the view of the water was beautiful! I tired out almost all of the ice cream flavors (they were nice) and the macarons had a great taste(I still wanna have more). The staffs were nice and friendly(they offered to take our pictures, and the meals were delicious (didn’t take time to be prepared). The milkshakes where superb too! Hi

The restaurant was beautiful and not too noisy. The chicken and shrimp fried rice were also amazing. And I would totally recommend the gelatos for dessert, as they were simply delicious and flavorful. I had a chocolate- and then a hazelnut-flavored ice cream — both were delightful.

Without a doubt, I can easily rate this the best restaurant in Lagos. This is mainly because of the food and the quality of the restaurant. Clean floors, rooms, and tables and AC which is natural requirement. They have seating both inside and outside. The only downside to sitting outside is the heat. They do have AC, but it is limited, so if the restaurant is packed outside and all the AC is in use, I’d recommend sitting inside. There is a wide variety of food you can choose from. My personal favorite, the classic club sandwich. In case you are coming with children, don’t worry. They have a playground right on the outside with a staff member enforcing the rules to make sure your children stay safe. No matter on what day or time you come, you will enjoy your time at Cactus. My goal is to help as many people as I can on google maps. Great breakfast outing. Friendly staff. Good choice for different groups including the children. I would definitely recommend with special consideration to the ice cream and goodies section (unfortunately, I am too much of a sweet tooth 😉). The drivers shed though! It could be better. I love Cactus...the ambience... the options for food, the variety of sitting locations. I love sitting by the water.... On more than one occasion I have visited and the breakfast menu was still available but somehow I am still there when the lunch menu became available so I get to eat twice!!! If you are a Churros fan, you just need to try it out here. I have had just one miss with them.. Their Calzone. It may have been a bad day or maybe I had higher expectations but that is not enough to take away a star. When you are done with food, you can stop for some pastries (not for me) or ice cream!!! Their tiramisu flavour is to die for.... and they have gelato too.. Update as I visited again today... no more Churros😔 I would appreciate guidance on a place I can get Churros from in Lagos.. I tried their chicken escalope .. I opted for rice on the off chance that my kid would prefer it to the chips. No deal. It was actually good but I was way too full to attempt it. Their ice cream options were boring today as well. Hans and Rene remain the champions.. All in all, I still love Cactus 💘 💘

I felt like a celebrity going into this place. The parking is great as there is a large parking lot available. It's right on the ocean, so if you can, I definitely recommend eating outside. They even have a playground for the kids which was a lifesaver as we were dining with children. The service was 5 star. I still don't know how they brought our appetizers out so fast! We had the cheesy garlic bread. It was really good but a tad spicy. We also had a seafood appetizer which was really tasty. I was practically full by the time dinner had arrived! I did have a drink which was good but strong. I'm not sure how, but I managed to save room for dessert!

Cactus Restaurant has a beautiful homely ambience. The staff are friendly and courteous and their services are top notch. The food is tastily delicious and the turn around time is great. Cactus restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor section and allows for relaxation with a calm water front view. Highly recommended.

It was so good the first time we had to go back. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. That coupled with the views of the water made for a wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to return to Victoria Island and to Cactus.

It's a very wonderful place to visit with friends and family. The ambience is quite nice and you can see the sea side if you decide to sit outside. The food is nice, they had everything on the Menu which you can scan or they give you the pamphlet to go through the Menu for foods and drinks. And for toddlers not babies, they have their own seat provided by the restaurant. The timing of ordering was fast...in less than 10mins or less you get your order And lastly, the payment that I did not understand was in terms of consumption tax, we paid for. I paid for consuming the food apart from the Tax included, you also pay for consumption tax. In conclusion, it's a perfect getaway for families, lovers, friends to hangout.

The pancakes were fluffy, not too sugary and tasted nice. I loved the fries too, servers were impeccable with their service, I sat close to the water area and enjoyed every moment of it. I can’t remember their names, but I asked two of the waiters to help take photos of me and they obliged happily. Overall, you would get value for your money spent here.

Cactus is one of those few places that have been around for as long as I can remember but still managed to maintain a good standard. The ambience is nice, bubbly atmosphere, reasonable prices and good food. The waiters are attentive even on busy nights (e.g. weekends) and orders come out quite quickly. There are multiple indoor sitting sections as well as a lagoon-facing outdoor area. Both the food and drink menus are quite expansive thus there are multiple options to choose from. It's a great place to eat and chill, these are some of the reasons I keep going back.

Cactus is one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to in Lagos. The restaurant is spacious with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating areas. The restaurant is fit for all kinds of gathering—big or small. It’s also a great place to go on a date with a lover. The service at Cactus was awesome. My food and my girlfriend’s came in less than 15 minutes after we placed the order. I was super surprised because the typical wait time at Lagos restaurants is not less than 30 minutes. The food came early and tasted great. I loved it. The only complaint I have about Cactus is their high prices. Their items are expensive but it’s expected for a restaurant in one of the highbrow areas of Lagos. Will definitely go back 😀

Too priced for a family restaurant. This was my first time dining at Cactus and I was absolutely confused by the price point. The restaurant gives off family dining vibes like an Eagles spur kind of experience but is vaguely priced like mid level fine dining restaurant. Would easily pick Spurs over this. Their cocktails were a letdown and I would not recommend. However I really enjoyed their deserts.

Amazing customer service experience, delicious food. It was my first time there and of course I enjoyed every bit of it. Sunday lunch with the family. The waiters are always ready to attend to you and went the extra mile in making you comfortable. Though it was a bit full being a peak period...I would definitely go back to experience the outdoor seating area..

I was a bit skeptical about going to this restaurant but I’m glad I did First the customer service is 100/100 They sanitize the table every time a new customer comes in and you are greeted by several waiters,the wait for the food wasn’t too long I would recommend the platter(tiger prawn,chicken kebab,veggies) comes with a side and of course the best PIZZA I have ever tasted and I’m not exaggerating(The Seafood PIZZA) the pepper is just perfect,the cheese wow and then the shredded shrimps, I am very particular about my pizza but this does it for me The Alfredo pasta could be better And then the house wine(white) a tangling sweet taste and smooth I will definitely be coming back Kudos the chefs👏🏽 It rained so I couldn’t enjoy the outdoor scenery And it’s not as pricey as I thought

Been wanting to visit this place for a while now. Had their avocado toast loved it! The hot chocolate, not so much. It’s a great space, loved how cozy it was, definitely great for a first date or a family brunch out. I also liked the fact that they give you toast & juice while waiting, Not so great for my fit fam ministry but it’s quite thoughtful. It’s not a bad experience all round - I recommend.

Cactus is just perfect. Polite and very professional waiters, enthralling aesthetics, serene environment on a well maintained property. You can choose to sit by the waterside or inside. I appreciate that despite the fact that there are so many white folks in the place there is no segregation and class distinction. The food is midpriced so while it is not very cheap, you don't have to go bankrupt because of a simple meal.

The room setting is nice but staff feels too big, a room of 15k and there's no water heater, they keep lying they are coming to fix it till I checked out, the AC not in good condition, they told me they'd serve you breakfast for lodging in deluxe but I didn't see that happen, pool very shallow, every staff treats customer how they like, I will have to call for them to boil water which they'd say 5mins till I checked out... Am not recommending anyone to waste money for such place... It's a nice room but poor management services

Lovely ambience. Great for family dining. We had the bbq chicken pizza, chicken and shrimp pasta, mac and cheese burger , suya and drinks. If you like ginger, get the raspberry ginger cooler. Pizza was a delight 😍. The pasta was really rich and delicious. They have a bouncy castle for kids so I know my kids would definitely drag me back. The food was great so I would definitely go back. I do wish the setting was a bit more intimate regardless a great place.

Cactus is hands down a fav spot for my girls and I. The first thing we always do before even seating is order the caramel cheesecake if we are lucky to see any left! Those are zapped up like crazy! There's hardly nothing we don't like from the pastas (you gotta try the one with shrimps and chicken), the creamy cactus chicken, the seafood pizza, the festival salad (a static order)... need I go on... Oh I have to mention the starter succulent, super soft, warm bread - divine! The ambience just makes it 📸 perfect. The drinks though... now that needs some work! The Frappuccino is a non-starter and the 🍸 🍹 could have better presentation and life. But for the food, I'm hooked!

Adequate parking, polite staff and serene surroundings. Also, I did enjoy the food from the breakfast menu. I'm giving 4 stars simply because I ordered boiked yam but was presented with fried yam that looked like it had been friend the night before. Overall, it's a good spot for family brunch especially with little babies.

I particular love how accommodating these guys are. Great ambience too. The only downside is looks like the chef is lebanese because I couldn't taste that spicy and sweet Naija flavour

Cactus is an upscale restaurant/patisserie in the Victoria Island axis area. Its super popular with families especially on Sundays for brunch. Has a play area for kids and is wheelchair accessible. It is probably the restaurant with the best covid response i have seen as they have a decontamination chamber at the entrance and plexi glass partitioning between seats. There is an outdoor and indoor sitting area. The serve pizza, pasta, chicken, steak and seafood as well as pastries, ice cream, gelato and coffee. The staff are very friendly and the food comes out quickly. Their cocktails are a bit basic but strong and when my friends and i were there, we got free ice cream! Must try - their sorbets! A really great place, would 100% recommend.

I'll start by saying that the single greatest thing about this place is that the portion sizes are simply spectacular. And you know, this is the usually the one thing you complain about when you go to a nice restaurant in Lagos. You love the food, you have no complaints about the service but then you will often find that you've paid too much for too little food. Not here. No no, not at all. These are portion sizes that are sure to meet - and in some cases defeat - your hunger. I've been there quite a few times now and it only just occurred to me that I have never written a review here. On my most recent visit I went there to have breakfast. I ordered a CYO omelette and some hot chocolate. Before the food arrived, we were given some toast and fruit juice. (Some people have THAT as their breakfast!) Anyway, the food itself - that had to have been (at least) 4 eggs. It included two sausages, hash browns, beans, greens, tomatoes...sorry, got carried away. There was also toast underneath the gargantuan omelette which I didn't even bother attempting. Did I also mention that the cheese in the omelette was generous? I eat quite a lot of food when I go out, and that often translates to 2 meals. This simply wouldn't be possible at Cactus. If you want to eat premium food in Lagos in a restaurant with a beautiful setting AND get the most bang for your buck, this is the place.

Situated in a conceal place , like the restaurant is hiding in plain sight. Cactus has a great parking space with well light and spacious place to eat and also children friendly environment. The waiters are courteous and they observe health and safety guidelines including social distancing while attending to customers. The food is well prepared and served timely. The water side ambience is amazing too and the pastries and confectionery section is great too. Try out their pancakes and their Pasta too. Amazing

Its easy to locate with adequate parking space. The staff are courteous and helpful. The food is ok and reasonably priced to an extent. I had the Grilled Combo BBQ which was ok. Recommended for people with an expansive pallete. Even though Google recommended it as a family restaurant, I wouldn't classify it as that. It has an adult feel to it though with a mini play area for kids .

Always a fav when I want a quiet night with a few friends. I always sit outside, even though it’s awfully humid out there but it’s still beautiful. The food came so fast, I thought I was no longer in Lagos and it was great! Good portion, ok prices, drinks can be better but all in all, a great place.

An amazing place to be. I love the serene environment and food. Although the prices are on the high sides it is worth it. Sundays are the best days for a family outing at Cactus restaurant, there is children play area, a private room for families/ couples, an ice cream area and an outdoor area for everyone. If you are planning a family outing, have at least 25000 naira upward. They accept transfers and cash not sure about POS.

Cactus.. I went on a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty busy and filled. I'm a sucker for good customer service and they got it. The meals are just okay wouldn't say great.. Prices are fair because the portions are large as well. I love the fact that they give bread while waiting for your order but I want to know why Aquafina 1litre is #900 and why did I have both VAT and consumption tax on my bill.

My second visit here. Loved the place. Fried Calamari & Dynamite Shrimps were absolutely perfect but did not enjoy the Salmon tartare so much. Their new Grill Combo bbq was amazing, also enjoyed the Shrimp & Chicken pasta. Will definitely visit again ☺

Lovely restaurant with a lively ambience. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and noticed that the restaurant seems to have lots of families and group outing visits on Sundays. The meal came in excellent timing and the quality of the food was good. I will definitely visit again.

Well, the meals here are awesome, cooked at the right temperature and you get that even tenderness in their chicken meals. It's hidden of Ozumba Mbadiwe in VI, it has a lovely ambience and the staff are very courteous.

Great place for a date, had one there myself. Outdoor sitting is great right by the lagoon. A few improvements on the food and menu and you have an absolute winner. Cactus 🌵 is an all time favourite, the space is elegant and versatile. Their customer service is also 💯. Now let’s talk about the food; I’ll start with this yummy looking burger and fries, fam the fries went to Harvard. Legit the best fries I’ve had, I kept arguing with my partner in crime that it’s fresh cut potatoes seasoned and fried, not the one we buy at shop rite, it must have been grown in one fine garden like that. It just didn’t taste regular and I loved it, crunchy...The Burger was creamy and light, a ham and bacon burger with poached eggs, but it wasn’t bad at all, way above average. It was very fresh! We also had the lagos passion breakfast, I really like it when restaurants localise some dishes on their menu, it’s not everyday I want to eat continental dishes, the lagos passion was an African breakfast, consisted of plantain (my weakness), bread and onions omelette, served with sausages, stew and beans porridge. The plantain made it guys, it was just right. I have no complains whatsoever on the plantain, ah the chef would make heaven! The sausages and omelette tasted fine too, the only war I have to settle would be the the beans porridge, it was average and I felt they could’ve spiced it up more but who knows they might have been playing it safe on the pepper side, not every Nigerian likes 🌶 like me 😂. Lest I forget, their ice cream is just IT, tastes perfecto 👌 and a scoop just costs N1k!

My experience at Cactus was a lovely one, I visited with my family and I’m certainly going again. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, the waiter/waitresses are so calm and efficient. Their food is not cheap but they’re affordable and there’s also a play area for children but they must be supervised by an adult. Did I add their covid precautionary measures are on point, free sanitizer on each table, each table and chair sanitized after every meal.

I visited this place during my trip to Nigeria with my kids, it’s a perfect place for kids and adults to enjoy. The service is exceptional. Jeremiah attended to us, he was very kind, patient and attentive. The atmosphere is great for relaxing and taking beautiful Instagram pictures. The food is also superb. Highly recommend.

Getting into Cactus from the main road can be an issue. However, when you get inside, it has ample parking space. I went on a Sunday, so it was filled with families having brunch after church. We decided to sit outside by the water. The waitress was very courteous and answered our questions. She also helped us get comfortable by turning on a fan to make sure a stubborn fly would stop disturbing. For a busy day, the food came out quick. We were served complimentary bread roll and butter before our meal came. Overall, it was a good experience, I will certainly recommend to anyone.

I did not enjoy my visit to this place. Number 1, you arent "allowed" to sit anywhere you want. They would come and move you about talking about how where you are sitting isnt a table for 2. Secondly, the portions are very small for some particular meals. The spaghetti bollognaise was particularly small and there was no protein on the side. It was just cooked with some minced meat and a slice of very dry bread. The waiter who attended to us was also very cold and just acted like he was being forced to work. The place was also full today so it didn't have a cozy ambience at all. I also didn't feel satisfied after eating here. I felt like I didnt get my money's worth from the meal and experience Let me not even get started on the plating. ZERO plating skills. I am actually angry. We spent 30k on a meal for 2 and it was neither "tummy or emotionally satisfying

Caters for children as well. ___________________________________________ * Tagliatelle with prawn - 7,000 The texture of the tagliatelle was slightly over cooked. It was creamy, topped with chicken & shrimps. The seasoning/flavor was underwhelming. Very shy. Didn’t hit the ‘sharp’ notes, something I couldn’t really place my hands on was missing in this dish. ___________________________________________ * Stir fry noodles - 7900 I liked this, all the ingredients balanced out properly. Egg noodles stir fried with vegetables, chicken, beef & shrimps. Liked that they were generous with the ingredients. ___________________________________________ * Crispy Calamari - 7,500 This was basically deep fried seasoned calamari. I expected this to be extra crunchy, but it wasn’t. It was served with a hot sauce. ___________________________________________ * Mojito -3,800 I’m a huge fan of mojito, such a refreshing drink. Loved their version. Even though their glass could be taller 🙄 ___________________________________________ Also, it’s really easy to miss this place if you aren’t paying attention to your map.

I had a very pleasant experience at Cactus and I really enjoyed it. The ambience is great. Food is lovely and the staff are courteous and competent. I visited at lunchtime on a Saturday and expected a crowd and slow service. There was a crowd but the service was anything but slow. To eat, I had the Stir Fry Noodles and it was delicious! I had the Sugarcane Special to drink, it was very refreshing. There's ample parking space so that's one less thing to worry about. All in all, it was a very good experience and I'll definitely be going back there soon.

This is perfect for everything you can think of. The food presentation, the well behaved staff, the ambience, outdoor sitting arrangement with water view, ice cream and pastries to mention but few. It's perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had their fish and chips which is very affordable and the tray of fish and chips came with veggies- carrots, cauliflower etc. I couldn't finish the chips but concentrated on the fried fish and veggies with freshly squeezed pineapple juice.

A chilled atmosphere by the water. Perfect hang out after a long working day. The menu is ok, the service is definitely trying and despite the location being tugged away it was surprisingly well filled - and popularity is usually a useful indicator for quality of some sort - the cactus offers more than only one quality.

It's a good place for get together or an hangout, birthday celebration etc Good and secure parking space, no blocking of someone's car, the lines for the car parking space are well arranged. Good food as usual. Cactus is a perfect spot any day of the week, but Sunday is especially my favorite day to have lunch at there. When we were ready to leave, we had to wait an extra 45mins because it was impossible to find the waiter who took our orders. Calling on the other waiters was of no help, so we had to get up and look for him ourselves.

It was refreshingly nice. The ambience very cool relaxed, allowing for a totally enjoyable time out. I had the classic burger (I've learnt to always go for the classic burger) The burger didn't fail me. The burger was really juicy and fresh, served with a side of french fries and coleslaw. I also tried the quinoa salad and my tastebuds were excited from the amazing taste.

Good experience. I had Grouper fish (grilled) on jollof rice bed with pineapple chutney. Scrumptious!! The ambience is great. There's the very well lit restaurant space. There's the less lit ambience in another space and there's the outdoor space overlooking the water.. all great for enjoying your meal. The menu's fair enough. There are nice desserts too. In all, it works and is nice. BTW, I was there for my birthday and heard group singing happy birthday for a lady. Another birthday mate.

Firstly, I'm pleasantly surprised that cactus has maintained their standards over the years. Like I've been dinning in cactus for a while now and their service and food are still impeccable. I visited after many years on a Sunday and there was a little bit of crowd as expected. They were however able to manage the crowd and the wait time was impressively short. I always love the English breakfast because its just so many things to eat (as a foodie lol). The Nojito (no, not mojito) is extra good! Pro tip 1: do not be shy to ask for more bread, bread is free. Pro tip 2: order the big bottle of water (if you're sharing or you've got polydipsia like me). The difference from the small bottle is just 200 naira. You're welcome 😊

The meals are quite affordable and tasty; I had the Grilled Grouper with Jollof Rice and Planter (cocktail) while my date had the Pork Rib which I enjoyed more than mine. In general, I had a great time and it is a place that I recommend for dates, group hangouts or even meetings.

Dining at Cactus was marvelous. I like that their menu has a wide range, so there’s a lot you can choose from. The pasta meals were rich in protein and in size-able portions too. You should totally try out the ice cream at Cactus! It’s really good. I’ve had this twice now and it’s been consistently good. Go for their cone too, it’s a good choice. I’ve been here twice. It was an okay experience on both visits. I went on a Sunday both times and it was quite full. If laidback brunches are your thing, it’s a good choice. It does get a bit loud with all the kids playing around. It also has a kiddies play area outside so that’s pretty neat. Had the Pina Colada and Gin Basil. Both drinks were great. The food is reportedly great but that wasn’t my experience. The staff took a while to attend to me. It’s understandable that they’re quite busy but I was seated for around 30 minutes and kept trying to catch their attention.
