I had a quick lunch with my family at 805 sometime last year and it was, overall, a great experience. I ordered the Coconut Rice and Oxtail (it also came with a sauce). The rice was very very good; it wasn’t soggy, the coconut taste was very present, tbh, for me, the rice didn’t really need the sauce (that accompanied the Oxtail) - it was that good. I also loved the Oxtail, it was soft and tender and boneless (for the most part). The sauce was good but it needed a bit more flavor and the veggies were overcooked (a bit). I tasted that Oha Soup and it slapped! Sheesh, that thing was beautiful! It also had ponmo scattered around 🤤 The fries, plantain and Chapman were regular. Nothing special but not bad at all! The service was great (the waiter was very polite and helpful - this should always be the case but 🤷🏾‍♂️), the wait time was about 30 minutes, and the portions are relatively plentiful. Can’t remember all the prices but I know the Coconut Rice and Oxtail was about 6000.

The restaurant was well located. The setting was good. The food tasted great. Unfortunately the service was very visibly slow not just to us but other customers around. No asking of drinks and even after asking it took 20mins to get to us and we were sitting by the bar. Service needs to borrow a few steps from UK branch.

This is my personal favourite for basic Naija food like swallow and rice, because the place is clean, the food is tasty and the presentation of the food is always top notch. The ambience is good, they have a bar so beer and wine is assured. Their customer service is good but not consistent. They usually serve complimentary puff puff especially for customers ordering rice menu. It made provision for wheelchair accessibility. They have a toilet. You can even make payment via Fund transfer in addition to POS and cash means of payment.

This is such a nice place for a lunch meeting or a quick friendly catch up over lunch. The atmosphere is quite conducive with a calm and relaxing ambience. The restaurant part may not be a romantic place but the bar upstairs gives a cozy feeling and some privacy. There is also a mini hall service within the facility that may take a small birthday party 🎉. The space by the bar is a perfect fit with the in-house DJ who can equally support with karaoke on request.

805 Restaurant is the peak of dinning out in Abuja. Situated at the Wuse II commercial district, it offers sumptuously amazing meals for a good price. The ambience is lovely with a customer-centric decor. The place is nice spot for both romantic and family eat outs. The staff are also nice and courteous. Come dine with finesse.

805 African Restaurant Abuja is of the best African Restaurants out there. I have taken a couple of their foods (Lunch, Dinner and Buffet) and i can tell you that the standard is second to none. I love their Jollof Rice, Okra soup and Pounded Yam.

I like the atmosphere, the cool music in the background and of course I enjoyed the meal. I ate Afang soup served with cat fish (my protein choice) and my partner had the Eforiro and pounded yam. The meals tasted good and they have different protein choices so your meal can be prepared to your taste. We had the Chapman and we were also served complimentary puffs.

The food was much. I ordered seafood okro and plantain amala with watermelon and pineapple drink. My favorite was the drink

So I’ve heard a lot about this place and decided to try it out. First it’s a nice spot easy to locate in wuse 2 and are known for their soups. I personally had the Afang and it was good and reminded me of Calabar for a bit and had to ask if the cooks were from there and they sure are. I like the space and it’s nice for family or friends hangout who want to have the local dishes experience.

Very good service Nice ambience Just the issue with house flies, and the fact that I can't get any glass of wine of my choice even if they're available. But I would recommend their food and services any day

I had dinner at their London branch and I'd say there food was mouthful deliciousness in its entirety. I notice the quantity of food they serve in London is bigger than that of Abuja. My go to restaurant when I need good food with wifey. Been around for a while and has maintained its standards. Food both local a d continental are available with a variety of cold and hot drinks. Staff are fast and efficient and ready to assist with the menu. Only snag is the lack of adequate parking space inside the building.

The environment is neat and cozy, the food is very delicious and fresh but the service needs to be improved, it was so slow, only 1 person attended to 12 of us and our orders got mixed up. But we loved the food.

Really good food with great customer service. The location is also a plus as it is central and easily accessible. Parking can be a challenge on a busy day and you ate best served arriving in a taxi to avoid issues with parking.

It’s a very good place for Nigerian food. The food was wonderfully made I must say. It’s and ambient place serene environment. Chairs were very comfortable. My challenge was the fact that the staff seemed overwhelmed couldn’t get the order well and wasn’t really sure what they were doing. Maybe they need to get more staff or better orient their staff

Ate Wednesday buffet today. The rice was dry and egusi and draw soup were just ordinary. For a meal @ 5k a head, I know a thousand one far better alternatives in the city. It was not all bad though; the cozy ambiance and the pleasant waiters did add a little quality to the visit.

I don't know what happened the second time I ate here its like everything is foreign. I raved about this place but I was disappointed 2nd time around. Ordered Coconut rice with plantain and assorted meat but was told to order goat meat instead that what I wanted would take time (Quantify time please. Such a discouragement to a pretty decisive individual. Spoke to the manager he was more accommodating.

The restaurant is located in a good area within the FCT. The location is very accessible from different routes. Car safety is note worthy as Visitors can either park in or outside the restaurant, with local security on duty. The ambience in 805 is commendable. The menu has a variety of everything. Though one would wish that everything on the menu is readily available at every point of visit. Anyways, staff reception is good and the pricing is kind of fair for an eat-out experience. Lest i forget, food quantity is about okay too. Time taken to have meal ready is also not bad but if you have to eat at the space by the bar downstairs, u need to be prepared for possible occasional noise disturbance if anyone orders any of the fruit juices, as the blender is operated not too far from where you will be seatedm

Regularly host our “old boys” meeting at this joint. Fully recommend for socials as well. Food takes a little slow to leave the kitchen, but overall not a bad vibe.

Nice and cozy environment but service is very slow. Takes a while before you can be attended to. Ordered swallow because I had heard a lot about the place.. Fish had scales in it. Edikangikong wasn't as expected and the Oha didn't have anything in it. It was plain. Place felt a bit overhyped as a fly kept disturbing. Not sure if it was a bad day or a mistake but overall, the food was not bad.

805, the afang soup I ate on Sunday 2nd January, 2022 was nothing short of concoction meant for a typhoid patient. Complete bizarre! 👎. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. You can do better than that please. Afang soup has always been my favourite meal to eat at your restaurant. But since after my last experience on Sunday, I'm quitting. 🙄

A beautiful and well themed restaurant for people who are conscious of what they eat. What do I mean by the above? If you’re diabetic or have a health condition that makes you select what to eat then your are at home. For me, their food is really good, everything in moderation. No complaints like too much salt or pepper etc. Neat environment, courteous staff, you can order over the phone and they deliver or walk-in. Their restaurant is also located in UK🇬🇧 so you really don’t miss the good taste or African meals when you’re out. I always enjoy their white beans with plantain and sauce.😋😋 They are not cheap, but you can do it.✅

They have the most attentive and swift staff. The food reminds you oh that delicious home pot! They offer a serene environment which just makes it so comfortable with the nice music playing in the background.

The restaurant is centrally located in Wuse 2, good parking space both in and out. The service was okay and the meal was yum. They have these yummy puffpuff you can snack on while you wait for your meal which really doesn't take too long. Their long island is super long!! I recommend. The only minus was the AC was faulty when I visited so it was a bit hot, however the manage on duty assured us it would be fixed. All In all, a good experience

Went to this place to dine in. Nobody told me about their closing time on arrival. They rushed us to place our order, hurried to take our payment and then turns the generator on us while we were still eating. I have irresponsible service providers in Nigeria but this one tops it all. I hope they enjoyed the food and the wine we left them

Terrible experience. Came here for lunch and was told they don't have egusi soup. Was told that they have gone to buy the stuff for it. Came back the next day still no egudi soup and also no pounded yam. The lady later came back to say "oh there's pounded yam the person I asked made a mistake". I just left

Coconut rice was 💯. The waiters were tired and mixed up my order. There were flies that won't let me eat in peace and for everytime I complained, sorry was all i got.

I've been eating at 805 London for about 22 years but I must say that this 1st visit to the Abuja branch turned into the most horrible experience. From the start where they had to read out their menu because they didn't have a physical menu like a cheap mama-put, to the actual food that was tasteless with 2 bags of onions per plate. The Chinese rice was so horrendous that the kids didn't even touch it. Then came the bill, extremely overpriced with no value for money. All in all, the kids, after being in Nigeria for a year and a half, were excited to see a familiar London restaurant. Little did they know that the story would be so different. I advise you to avoid completely. I deserve my money back.
