L'afric Restaurant and Bar

Restaurant

😠 Situated in the heart of Victoria Island with nice ambience. The food could be good, but the staff are not friendly. The customer service is very poor and the waiters can be saucy. Brace yourself if you are going there, don't try their buffet you won't get value for your money. People often mention good, nice, Great, taste, Nice,

We went there to see if their seafood okro is better than in Yellow chilli. Taste-wise I prefer the one here. They should add a little more shrimps and squids. Seafood is not just fish. We also had very nice Banga soup with assorted meat. Try their fresh juice in 0.5l canister. Overall good experience, though value for money is nothing special.

I have eaten here multiple times over the years and it's impressive that the same things I lived here on my first visit are still in place. The food is still as authentic as ever, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients used. Service is still on point. Note to management, please keep up the good work. I recommend this place as the number one place to get fresh and authentic Nigerian food if you're ever in Victoria Island.

Courteous staff. Great ambience for relaxation and eating. A good place for meetings and meet ups. My local dish took a while for it to be prepared but the taste was worth the wait. Hygienic environment.

I ordered the l'afric special jollof and fried rice and it tasted great and large in quantity. The atmosphere is nice for a small family/solo/couple/mini get together (their space isn't the largest tho) It was my second time there and the service was better and prompt. Definitely recommend for local foods. I hope to visit again and taste other things.

Enjoy same good dishes in a new location on Karimu Kotun with a larger interior space, a full bar upstairs and ample car park.

Went there on a Saturday at 12.15pm. They had only just opened. Ordered food and it took well over an hour to be prepared. I decided on take away because of how long it was taking. However it’s a nice place with comfortable chairs. It’s located at a busy place but they’ve done well to cushion the amount of noise that gets in. Very affordable prices and their Afang soup is nearly perfect. For those that love soup and having extra after the swallow is done, L’Afric is the place for you. Take away are nicely packed.

Its not lafrique. Its reserve restaurant. And that place is deceit! We ordered for special fried rice. But instead of using normal rice they should use basmati. We were charged 3500 for the normal special rice and charged 1500 for basmati. Meaning a whole dish was what we were billed for. Something we thought we were going to spend 9k for we ended up spending 19000, like its freaking expensive. I would have just gone to cactus or 1504 if I wanted that sort of meal. To top it they gave us one silly take away pack and billed us 500 naira! Its just plain rip off. I will never visit here anymore and please don't even think of going. Too silly and unprofessional. Just go to 1504 they will treat you like a king!

Loved everything about it. Their shrimp salad is the best and also their moimoi. Only thing is we salivated for about 20 mins before the food came.

Really good place for your local delicacies. Nkwobi, Isiewu, different peppersoup, proper naija foods with rich vegetables - all at moderate price for good quality and proper adult quantity too. Good stuff!

L'afric is a petit but mega nice eatery. By outward looks, you'll quickly write it off but dare go in and have something to eat, you'll live to have her praises on your lips. Also, the members of staff of L'afric are incredibly courteous. I think L'afric is in the same category as Yellow-chilli. Lastly,L'afric selects her clients by being a bit pricey.

A nice cozy place ideal for individual meals, as well as a date setup. A variety of meal options available, inclusive of both Nigerian local foods, as well as offerings to suit international taste buds. Meals prepared and server on order. The place also sells various alcoholic and soft drink beverages.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Lagos. The chef is extremely skilled in Nigerian cooking and uses the highest quality ingredients. I have never had a bad food experience here. Don't forget to taste the Ofada stew, it's to die for.

Great place for african dishes. Try the Seafood okoro soup. They never get this wrong. Thank me when you do after. Point to NOTE: I advise if you are going in a large group you book ur order prior to your arrival over the phone. Average wait time for food delivery is 20-30mins.
