It’s easy to locate off farmers market Maitama and next to Maitama guest house. I love the privacy. Yes it’s a busy spot but doesn’t affect your dinning for it has a spacious and neat dining areas both inside and out. It gives some type of Italian street side restaurant. From the security offering parking space and conducting cars to staffs politely being of assistance to you on call and wait. Meal prep time was as fast as time itself. After placing orders our starters and drinks came out immediately. Warm bun bread rolls were offered complimentary with the finest of mini butter. Hot warm mozzarella sticks with a bit of garlic and fine herbs spices on it served with ranch dressing, also African spicy wings with sauce soft and crunchy. Caramel dream milkshake was filling and tasted great, also pineapple ginger cooler was sweet. Dragon burger came in shortly with fries together with mashed potatoes and mama spicy pepper chicken. At this time our starters filled us as we grabbed a few bites off our main dish got take away packs for everything. Only our drinks got finished 😂 Mashed potatoes wasn’t creamy the way I’d like and spicy chicken wasn’t spicy at all instead was topped with tomato sauce and not really a fan of that. Other than that chicken was tender and entire meal was whole. Portion was great. Nice restaurant to visit they offer a lot.

This restaurant is not only beautiful, it’s relaxing too. I’m not really sure how to explain the relaxation part, but as soon as you walk in, you just feel at home. It’s an outdoor and indoor restaurant but I sat indoors. The food was amazing!!! Their tacos were everything. Don’t get me started on the wings!! The skewers too omgsss beautiful presentation. Service was very fast and the waitress was super friendly…..

Cantina is best experienced late evenings in my opinion. Choose the outdoor seating area, especially when you are in groups. The ambience is intimate, yet satisfactory for your group of friends. A reservation is always worthwhile, particularly for three-course meals and buffets. The presentation is top-notch, with the customer service faultless, except for when the drinks for my group were delayed for a little bit. I think my favourite for the night was the mozzarella cheese sticks.

Nice ambiance but Louise food..sorry is the only word from waiter. Chef will not attend to for quality complaints.

One of the best places in Abuja! Good choice of food and vines. Nice steaks with proper doneness. If you want it medium rare, you will get exactly what you asked. And you definitely need to try Italian cuisine here. Bruschetta and carpaccio are amazing here.

I was at cantina restaurant today for the pasta night, had spaghetti bolognese. Everything was perfect. Fresh, delicious food.

I always enjoy the ambiance here, but the last time i went, the Alfredo wasn’t cooked enough the pasta was hard and not edible. I would visit again but i’d order something else.

There was a variant of service delivery from waiters. Some were great and others were the other end of the spectrum. So much time wasted before order was collected. Enjoyed the drinks. Packing isn't easy here especially since security find it okay to block your car contrary to health and safety rules they ought to uphold.

Awesome service! Very good food. I had the beef escalope and mashed potatoes and Long Island iced tee. The price is really fair. The service is at a 100% The music, not so loud that you have to shout and not too low you can’t hear it. Make sure to tip the servers. They are professionals and cheerful and attentive.

Been watching most of the world cup 2022 matches here. The energy is calm during the matches and I enjoy being here. Food and service is top-notch. Atmosphere is relaxed though they have flies during the day struggling to eat your food with you. I recommend here for fine dining experience and the remainder of the world cup matches.

It is one of the best restaurants in the town. I was there for pasta night and really enjoyed it. They have a wide range of wine menu and a great service team.

I wrote a piece earlier about this place a couple of years ago and since then there has been a lot of improvement in the outlook and policy of the new management. For starters the place has enjoyed a fresh coat of paint and a few structural adjustment resulting in more comfort and service delivery. The staff are efficient, courteous and more professional. Rooms are cleaner, sheets fresh and complimentary drinks always in place. The restaurant and room rates have however gone through the roof and are not quite proportionate to the service. Meals are particularly expensive

It's really a great place to be with friends and familys. It's offers all you can eat, nice set up with great customer service. The food items are mouth watering and you are sure to get value for your money The environment is Serene and romantic, friendly and cozy.

We are there on a regular basis. Service and food are better than in most places in Abuja. Value for money ratio is ok.

Pictures don't lie, this place is just nothing less than quality and that includes the food too. They have a welcoming environment suitable for meetings and even work.

I had the most delicious lunch with friends-freshly baked bread, pizza and sea food pasta. Fresh fruit juice and lemonade was spot on. We sat outdoors but the ambience inside is also very nice and comfortable. I'm definitely going back.

Been here a few times so waiter recognised me as a big tipper. Very keen to take my order ( for a bottle of beer)after which he disappeared for twenty minutes without delivering it. Went indoors to order it. Was told waiter would have to bring so eventually received it fully 30 minutes after ordering so I immediately ordered food. That took another 45 minutes. Waiter hovered around waiting for a tip. I told him he had ruined the meal through poor service but paid him anyway with a 1000 naira tip. He counted the money in front of me concluding that it was short so I made him count it again highlighting the fact that even though he was useless I had actually tipped him. Told him I would never return. He said it didn't matter as they are always busy! Very impressive customer service. As other reviews demonstrate management will probably highlight that there are other restaurants in Abuja and wish me well when I choose to eat there.

I want to thank you for the crispy chicken burger, it was delicious. But the fries is too oiled and bad . This is not first time I ordered from the restaurant and the fries every time was good but this time no. I am very upset about this

Do something about you manager, she disrespected my whole crew, very sad thing to do. Cantina is the first place, I have been too that I cannot actually take my time to order, they start disturbing you every second and even tel you you cannot sit down if you order just drink. You must order food, and they said it’s the policy. So you can just have drinks and get food in an hour, they would tell you to leave the restaurant. I would never return, every.

I have been disappointed by restaurants. But today, Cantina took the price. I was there this morning for their spaghetti bolognese, which was a take out as my girlfriend's lunch. The sauce tasted spoilt and smelt badly, obviously not fresh and very much a horribly preserved left over. As today was my first time there, so will it be my last time there. Oh my God.

I like the design of the space, it’s quite welcoming. The food was also good. I had the fish and chips and that was really yummy. The wait staff and the bathroom are also alright.

Loved the ambience. The pizza wasn't spicy. Tasted bland. Asked the reason why. The waiter goes to the kitchen, comes back and says it's because we ordered thick crust. Very lame excuse.

I've eaten pasta here before and liked it, but this time, I ordered lasagne and I didn't like what I got. The chef was kind to replace it with another plate which was less saucy, but, it wouldn't be my go-to place for lasagne.

We didn’t stay at the guesthouse but we visited cantina restaurant. The perk is that they’re open till 1 am, so if you’re running late - it’s the best place to go to. However, if you have the choice, the food is pretty basic and can be a hit or miss. I got their soft shell tacos and they were really bad. Loaded with cheese (no thanks) and tasted like they put pizza spices in there. Plus it felt microwaved for the melted cheese on top! Big no no. That being said, my husband enjoyed his Johannesburger and we really love their buffalo wings! We get the wings as a must everytime we go here. Try them out :) service can be slow when they are packed out but we only experienced that once during lunch hours.

Great venue. Nice place to visit and Central. Reasonably priced. Burger was good. Mexican food also good.
