This place is a hidden gem for this city. The whole work crew is top notch and the place is set up casual with class. I ordered the Italian bruschetta and asked for a drizzle of basilica on it... top notch. (Hope I spelled both those right)... lol Food came out in a timely manner and the friendliest service throughout the evening. Not just one server, all three kept coming by and checking on me. The taste was superb. They had a lady and guy playing and singing that was really good. Definitely will be back when I'm in town.

As soon as you walk in it's a whole different atmosphere than most places in Corpus. It's like an upscale pub with class, if that makes sense. Our server Peyton was wonderful and helpful. Everything is made in house and was absolutely delightful! We had such a wonderful time we didn't realize how quickly time flew! Definitely going back!!

This is a cute little place. Don't go there, HUNGRY, looking for FOOD!! They have snack type stuff, appetizers if you will, and plenty of drink options. You can not move tables to put your group together. The drinks were tasty. The appetizers were good. The atmosphere was warm. It's a good little place.

The food here is delicious! We got the smoked salmon crostinis and the spicy pig pizza. Both were fresh and tasty and worth the price. For an appetizer we got the focaccia bread. Again, way worth it. I know this is a wine place, but I'm not really into wine so I can't give a meaningful review about their selection. The service from the staff could have been better, but wasn't bad. We went on a Friday night and they had a musician playing guitar and singing. He was fantastic.

It's been years since I've been here and it's still great! Happy hour was awesome...$5 Cab!

Came here for lunch on a sleepy Saturday afternoon with a party of 7. We sat outside and had to go inside to let them know we were waiting for service outside. We waited for drinks for about 20 minutes. We waited to place a food order for another 15. When they came out to take our food order, we were informed that they were only serving brunch, and brought us the brunch QR code; groans went around the table. Another 15 minutes passed when we had to go back inside to let them know we were ready to place our brunch order. Mind you, there were only about five other patrons there. When the food finally came out, it was awful. The waffles were floppy and soft, and the French toast reminded me of a high school cafeteria breakfast. The only upside was the decent beer selection. Thankfully, we made the most out of the experience with good company, but not only will we not be back, we will encourage others to steer clear, including you.

Great place to hang with friends. The drinks are pretty and tasty. The good is amazing. The chef even brings it out to the table. Crab cake sliders were awesome. Loved the Brie too. Veterans get 50% off food.

Excellent service. Good variety of wines and beer. I had a charcuterie board and it had enough for 3 or 4 people to share. I also had a flatbread pizza. It was delicious. The creme brulee was the perfect end to the meal with fresh strawberries on top. Very relaxed vibe. Great for a single person to stop in and relax, a nice date night, or even a small group of friends. There was a list on the wall of live music events. I will definitely be back.

Love this Place when we visit Corpus Christi for our Team Beauty HL events. Our waitress was great & our food was absolutely amazing and the wine was the best! We’ve been there several times for different meals. Brunch is amazing too!

I wish I could give Tannis 10 stars as it’s easily one of the top 3 restaurants in Corpus. Good food, good wine, good vibes! Go on a weekend for a date night and listen to some live music while you enjoy some tapas, a red blend, and some dessert.

Wonderful little wine bar. Huge selection of wine and the staff made sure to understand what you liked, made great recommendations and offered samples. The food was also exceptional. Great flavor and good portion size for the price. Highly recommend Tannins!

Slow, very slow service. Cocktails were pretty & tasted pretty good. Bacon & English muffins were hard & hard to eat. I would not go back.

Meatball sliders were so amazing! Love the atmosphere and the service was excellent. One of my favorite spots in Corpus.

So good we went back two days in a row! Wonderful service, the server even remembered our drink orders the next day. Calm/chill vibes, and great food. I'd highly recommend any of the dishes we are, but especially the wine ice cream. For our first meal, we split half a loaf of rosemary bread (with a delicious tomato basil dipping sauce and an herb infused avocado oil). I had the grilled cheese dippers and a caprese salad, and my husband had the Italian panini, followed by the strawberry champagne ice cream over strawberry shortcake. Our second time back, my husband had the same panini, and I had the Chilean Cabernet ice cream over a brownie with pretzels. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in corpus Christi.

Cute little place! Even the cheapest wine is delicious! Staff was very nice and service was pretty good. The food was very good... But their ratios on the cheese board are a little off. Not enough crackers or fruit and you get charged more if you ask for more crackers. Excellent cheese and meat quality. The inside atmosphere is so different from the outside patio. Would love to see them bring some of that vibe to the outside, too.

First time eating at this restaurant (Brunch) and it was GREAT! Food was very good. Waitresses were THE best, and the cook makes fabulous food. Price was right for the amount of food we ordered. Will be back to try the main menu. GREAT RESTAURANT! Had plenty of parking at the time we went 10:30am.

This place was great! The waitstaff was friendly & attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming. The only issue is our food took a little while. Although the place was packed. Once we got our food it was worth the wait. We will be back!

I just want to preface this bad review with I know the staff was overwhelmed and frustrated at management during our visit. However, I was treated very disrespectfully and the food was subpar. They aren't even serving the menu that is currently being advertised. There were fries coming out of our fruit bowls. I just hope we don't get sick. I do not recommend this location to any travelers.

What a pleasant surprise. We had not heard of Tannins before and since we were going to the theater we thought some win and tapas would be nice. Wow were we pleased. The service was welcoming. The wine, Pinots, were very good and delivered quickly. We had some crab cake sliders and ahi tuna lettuce wraps. Their ahi was some of the freshest we've had in or out of a sushi bar. The sliders were very tasty. It was a great size portion for tapas. The bill was reasonable and we will definitely be back.

Everything was great except the $6.99 to add bacon to my sandwich. I wish the owner could explain how this is even reasonable at all other than price gouging for maybe 2-3 slices of bacon. Other than that I do love everything about Tanins!

A really great joint and very warm atmosphere!! The price is so affordable and the staff is friendly. Good availability on parking & they sell cigars as well. A great place to eat and relax. This is a must!!!

I really enjoyed it! Waitstaff was killing it. I only saw 2 for the place and they did a heck of a job. Had the spicy pig and pep flat bread. They were delicious. Also tried the crab cakes which were Good. But the lobster Mac and cheese was insane! Definitely, will come back.

The food was fantastic. Rather unique menu. Staff was very friendly, but not super attentive. We went for long periods of no interaction despite being out of drinks. I completely understand when a place is packed, but this wasn't the case. My only other gripe is that I ordered the house Cab wine not knowing the cost, and I paid $30 for two glasses of wine. That seems really excessive for two glasses of house wine. I'd recommend consulting the menu prior to ordering your wine. Otherwise, we had a good experience and really enjoyed our meal. We will likely return despite the gripes because the food was so good.
