Terrible, apathetic service ruin a otherwise good meal. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! Visiting Laredo from San Antonio and hearing of the hoopla surrounding the opening of La Laguna near The Rim, I had high hopes of eating at this location. I've visited La Laguna several times in my past Laredo trips, most recent in February, and have seen the decline in service and quality of experience. On this visit during a steady Sunday night (not busy at all) the server wore her mask under her nose while she randomly walked up to our table of four and muttered "Drinks." No hello, introduction, name, or welcome... Just "Drinks" Four waters ordered, four bottles of HILL COUNTRY bottle water dropped off at the table with chips and 2 sauces. We were still looking over the menu so asked for a minute... 15 mins later she returns to rudely take our order, "What do you want." We order then asked for more chips and she said ok. After 12 mins of waiting for chips I went to the front to tell a guy that our service was terrible as the server disappeared again. He asked another server to take us chips, which came out promptly. Maybe 5 mins later the first plate of food is brought out. Seven mins later 2 more plates of food are brought out. The server asks if everything looks good and I ask about my plate, she looks at me like i was crazy for asking for food at a restaurant then asks what I ordered. I look at her amazed that she didnt realize an entire plate if food is missing. She checks her pad and disappears for over 10 minutes. Another person brings out the plate. It took over 30 minutes for my food to come out!!! She forgot to put in my food order!!! I thought of complaining again but the front desk didnt care the first time I complained. When the bill came out, we were charged $2 for each HILL COUNTRY bottle of water!!! This place is a RIP off and a joke! I'm not one to rant and complain but this was the last straw. The manager removed the waters and we were charged for the food, which is perfect. I will never return to La Laguna nor recommend it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Seafood is great. I don't usually do fried shrimp, but the breading on these shrimp was a perfect thickness (thin but thick enough to be crispy) and seasoning. Grilled fish in their Diablo sauce was great also. Fish was flaky but a little bit of crisp here and there. Shrimp cocktail was a little bland though. Chips are awesome, but the salsas were more of a taco sauce and not really what I'd want with chips.

Great place. Service was awesome and food was delicious. These folks have over 50 types of Micheladas, some of which serve double duty as an appetizer and drink.. good stuff! The ONLY draw back was that my waitress didnt speak any English but with my broken spa

Stellar service! This was my first time visiting and boy was I impressed. I'm originally from Laredo and live in Corpus Christi, have been for 10 years now. So, this place was new to me. The selection of Micheladas is something to be seen. I've never seen so many variations to one of my favorite cocktails. I didn't eat this time around, but I can say the appetizer platter was awesome. The salsas have an awesome flavor and theres this small sample of what looks like sauteed marlin that is out of this world (picture of it in the blue ramekin). I totally recommend this establishment to anyone that is looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere and a great selection of food and drinks. I will be most certainly be eating next time I visit.

Everything was good! Patio is perfect for nice weather to enjoy food and fresh air! Enjoyed Mexican Dos Equis Beer. Mexican Tamarindo Chile Candy sticks and Cucumber garnished my drink perfectly! Also the oyster cocktail with avocado and onions perfectly blended with cilantro and their special cocktail sauce. La Laguna Mariscos & Sushi is the place to be for seafood lovers and sushi lovers alike. I highly recommend any of their cheladas preparadas they are a feast for the eyes and even more so for your taste buds. I give a 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating. Place is clean, staff is attentive and food and drinks are delicious!!!

The big appetizer ‘Barquito’ (the Little Boat) was really good. Great service and fast wait staff. The manager came around multiple times to check on us. Ordered multiple sushi roll plates. The Salmon-Nito, Salmon Rolls, and Avocado Rolls were very tasty. Will definitely be back for more great seafood. Nice atmosphere with lots of TVs to watch.

I really love coming here. I am in Laredo once or twice a week and I make it a point to stop when I can. I slowly been trying different things on the menu so far I have not been disappointed

This restaurant has gone down hill. On three separate occasions I ordered delivery. And their quality has not met up the their reputation. Smaller than usual portions, cold over cooked shrimp, and their spicy rolls did not come as pictured. For the price, I expect a restaurant like this to exceed expectations in quality and quantity. Unsatisfactory.

This place qualifies for Bar/Restaurant rescue episode. Worst service ever, Lady taking orders forgot to put the orders, totally forgot half the orders. Flies everywhere, and overpriced Tilapia dishes.

Ordered through Uber eats. Got camarones a la diabla and a sushi roll. The camarones were cold, and uncooked when it clearly says on the description of the item that it’s supposed to be cooked. The compliment of the sushi tasted like fridge. We called the manager to let them know and she said it was not their fault and to contact Uber eats. She didn’t do anything. And was not really polite. Bad service and bad food if I could give 0 stars I would. Had to cook the shrimp at home. Should’ve just made them myself

One of the best places to eat seafood in Laredo. The prices are a bit high but also the portions are very decent. The service is nice and fast. To eat we got several items to try out as much as we could, every main dish comes with 2 sides of choice (Vegetables, salad, fries or rice), first we got the Chicharrón de Pescado, that came with a cocktail sauce, the Chicharrón was extremely good, a bit crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the flavor was just perfect. We also got the Tacos de Camarón al Pastor, which was a very original flavor, we liked it a lot. Moreover, we ordered the Enchiladas Verdes de Marlin which were very good as well, the sauce was very tasty, the marlin seemed to have a little of cumin which some people don't like but it was not a problem for us. Finally we got the Barquito mixto which is basically a ceviche with octopus, shrimp and fish, it was good although not as tasty as the other dishes, but we put on some lime juice and sauces which ended up making it way better. To drink we got some Micheladas which were very good, originally they didn't include tomato juice (clamato) but we asked for it and they included it.

Food was good. Service needs a lot of work. Waitress never checked up on us, seemed irritated when asked to take order and refill drinks.

WOW ! This seafood restaurant has a diverse selection of dishes to choose from. I will be glad to give them another visit. This was my first time there where my father and myself were recommended to have lunch. I ordered a seafood cocktail called vuelve la Vida, it had octopus, oysters, shrimp, crab, and more! I also enjoyed some very tasty fish tacos. It is a great place to eat and treat yourself to some great seafood!
