Andy was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Best experience on the island! It will be a yearly tradition for us! I literally had to drag all 4 of my kids- ages 12 to 4- away! He even came out in the rain!! I can’t explain what an amazing experience this was! We made some core memories, for sure!!! Highly, highly recommend!

I visited South Padre this trip solo for my Birthday week. I decided to try sandcastle building as I have never done this before. Andy is a great instructor with a tremendous wealth of knowledge. I had such a fun time and the castle looked great which was a bonus! I would highly recommend!!

Andy was fantastic! This is a must-do if you're looking for something special to do. We did a two hour lesson for our family of four. None of us have ever done anything like this and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Andy is not only a great teacher, but also a wonderful storyteller. He was so friendly and great with kids. You can tell he loves what he does and teaching others. We look forward to making this a tradition when we come back to SPI.

Andy went above and beyond with his sandcastle building lesson for my family! We had so much fun and learned a lot. My kids and I are excited to use our new skills during the rest of our vacation and then at home. We didn’t have great weather, a little wet and cold but Andy still spent extra time with us. My family (children ages 14,13,9) and I were in South Padre for a week and saw these sandcastle building classes available. I called Andy on a whim about the following morning for a two hour class and he graciously squeezed us in. I do have to say that on the way to the class, my older daughter and son were hemming and hawing about the class and how sandcastle building is for little kids..... WELL they were SO wrong, Andy is an incredible teacher! This class is so much more science based then you could ever imagine, we had an absolutely incredible time, we all wished we would have booked the class for another hour AND we would all take the class with Andy again in a heartbeat! I can't say enough about this class and would recommend it for all ages. Sandcastle building is fascinating, I never thought we would be able to building something so solid and detailed. Thanks so much Andy, you are one of the reasons we will be back to visit SPI, we are already talking about our next design!

We had the pleasure of joining Andy for sandcastle lessons for a birthday celebration. Every one of us enjoyed it, from toddlers to grandparents! He was very detailed, as well as patient. He was also super friendly and personable. My kids just adored him. By the end of the day we all felt like professionals 😊 I would absolutely suggest that you book a session with Andy!!

I would highly recommend Andy and his business. We had ages 5,6, and 8 and he did a wonderful job with them. His explains everything throughout the process so the kids can learn and be part of the process. The kids had the best time and learned a lot. We will definitely be coming back in the future as the kids grow so they can keep learning.

Just amazing, our lesson wasn’t supposed to start till 1 p.m. but we started right after 12 on the beach as soon as he found out we were the family there for the lessons. Andy truly has the talent and ability to teach and encourage adults to the little kids and even boss your pesky teenager into having fun. Andy is very engaging and just a natural with people and with his art. I highly recommend booking a lesson with Andy.
