After relocating to Portland, I found myself needing medical care and after getting assistance from my Insurance, I was referred to this AMAZING Care Center. And, all I can say is...WOW! I was treated with such respect, compassion and overall the MOST AMAZING CARE for medical issue. From the darling Receptionists, to the Nurses, the X-ray Tech and the Fantastic Dr., I was treated with such FABULOUS care. If you find yourself seeking care for any medical issues, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY! If I could give more Stars, trust me, I definitely would! To everyone who helped me in my journey to feel better, I sincerely appreciate everything and Thank each and everyone of this GREAT staff!

Had to go today. The online reservation process was a breeze. The wait time was nominal. The Doctor, she was wonderful and easy to talk to. The nurse, she was very friendly and the shots were almost painless! The receptionist was very nice too. All around positive experience. I easily recommend this place for any unexpected urgent care situations. Thank you Doctor's Center!!

visiting the area - yesterday I felt a gout flare coming on and hoped would pass. Woke up and both wrists and thumbs basically frozen in pain. I made an apt and preregistered online - an apt was available in half hour. I arrived, gave my name and was told that was all I needed to do. I was seen in 5-10 minutes. Very thorough intake from the nurse. I thought she was the PA it was so thorough. Matt Kern, APRN examined me - very nice, easy to talk to and direct. Gout was diagnosed - I was treated and prescriptions were called in. -Check out easy - the front office had already processed through insurance. I received a printout to give to my rheumatologist back home. I will return for future medical needs when in the area. I visited the Emergency Clinic for an injured knee. The treatment that I received was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and polite. I felt as though I received the very best medical care. I highly recommend the Doctors Center in Portland. You’ll receive the very best of care.

They are very caring and very professional. They take their time with you. My husband and my son and I are all pleased with the quality of care we receive when we need urgent care.

Went there yesterday because I have strained my back. Was seen same day and at promised time. Dr. Kern and the ladies in the office were great. I have no insurance at the moment because I am transitioning jobs so I had to pay out of pocket. It was very reasonable though. Paid 165 for the Doc visit and about 250 for two shots in the back. I also got a prescription for painkillers and oral steroids. I will definitely return to this place. Not only that, but I highly recommend it. If you also pay out-of-pocket make sure to let them know so they don't try to run unnecessary tests that they would usually bill the insurance to.

Went in as a walk in.. very helpful and friendly staff. Easy process to sign up. Estimated wait time when i went in was not bad for a Saturday morning. Clean facility and waiting area. Doctor was cool, allowed me to explain what was going on with me, examined me and provided feedback for care. Two big thumbs up. Keep up the good work.

I am so appreciative for the outstanding care and kindness I received. Staff and Matt Kern, NP were helpful, clear spoke, knowledgeable and kind. Taking time to explain the source of my pain and treatment options. Pleasant waiting room environment.

Everyone was super professional and courteous! Called a place down the road (higher on the google list since I wasn’t from the area) to make sure they took my insurance and they hung up before I even talked to anyone. The receptionist guided me through the online process to check in before I even arrived. My son needed X-rays and it took no time at all. The doctor was informative and nice! Would definitely recommend this place! Thanks y’all!

The nursing assistant and the receptionist were friendly and professional. The location was not real busy, but the male FNP-C seemed to be annoyed when he had to put down his tablet to see his patients. If he had better bedside manner, I would have given 5 stars.

The absolute worst! Avoid at all costs. Made an appointment waited over an hour in which we were told they were waiting for a room. After checking back a half hour later, we were told it would be AT LEAST another hour….Poorly run with no consideration to the patient! Receptionist declared people would be checked in then leave to be called back by phone. (Lol) If Zero stars were available I would have rated at a negative five stars.

Great place to go if ur a veteran and and have an emergency and can’t get into the clinic. The staff are really courteous and I didn’t wait very long to be seen. We highly recommend.

The staff was great and helpful when I arrived. Minimal wait time and excellent care. There was a prescription sent to the pharmacy that was ready for pick up when I arrived after the short 10 minute drive to the pharmacy.

SUSAN IS A HERO!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DOCTOR COME HERE!!! I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH!! I had acid reflux and SEVERE abdominal pain for a week before I went in. I was vomiting blood and was having a difficult time staying conscious. The nurse took my vitals and symptoms and in less than 30 minutes I was given 3 medicines that are now what i know to have SAVED MY LIFE. It has only been 4 days and I feel alive again. God bless these people and their work!!!!!!

We had a great experience here! I brought my son in because he was feeling really rough and couldn’t get him into his primary till Monday. We showed up an hour before close and were given stellar care. The physician was courteous and thorough. I’m very thankful they were able to see and diagnose him.

My PCP was closed the day after Christmas. I had a throat thing making its way, and when I woke up after Christmas I had 3 spots on my tonsils. I called the Dr. Center, they got me right in...headed this whole thing off before it became to bad. Great service, very pleasant staff. Thanks for being there!!!

Like 90% of all offices in Portland, the office staff is terrible. EXTREMELY inconsistent billing. No one knows what they are doing or what the true charge is supposed to be. You get undercharged on one visit and over charged on the next. Billing department is clueless as well. Would NOT recommend. Not to mention the abundance of black mold around every single vent in every room. Avoid this place at all costs.

We are in Portland for my older daughter softball tournament. Little sister fell ill we went to The Doctors Center Urgent Care. They whole staff was wonderful being she’s so scared to go to the doctor. The doctor there was amazing didn’t do any unnecessary test like most so these days. Highly recommend them!

I can’t say enough how incredible this Urgent Care is… Dr Mathew always goes above and beyond to make sure all medical needs are met and addressed before he leaves the room, no matter the patients age. His nurses and staff are GREAT too!!! We are grateful to have such a good all around medical facility here in the coastal bend. Thank y’all so much.

I’ve been to this urgent care a few times and every time I go I have a pleasant experience starting from the front desk, Brianna Treviño, and Amanda Ualton are very welcoming! May Sarver is so sweet and encouraging, also Susan Eiteljorge is very professional and kind, she honestly is one of the best ! I feel so comfortable every time I go to this clinic!
