Quality of food has gone down soo much I ordered to go they gave me two pieces of chicken that was clearly burnt and had been sitting out for a while. My waffle was burnt as well it was not busy so I don’t get how you burning food then got the audacity to serve it. Food was trash and they got roaches never going back

I have came to this place multiple times and it is definitely not or miss I’ve had some really good food and some not so good. But today in particular I ordered the chicken and Mac and it was not a well made combination all though the macaroni was made well it taste very off because they put the meat from the chicken leg into the MacNcheese it would have tasted much better with the chicken strip meat cut up and put in there. I’ve also had coworkers tell me the same thing about the chicken not tasting great in the chicken and mac!!

So it seems from the reviews like this place is hit or miss. I was on my way to the airport to catch a flight home and wanted to give this place a try. I walked in around 3 pm, and there was just a couple at a table and no staff to be seen. In less than 30 seconds a charming young lady came out and told me to sit anywhere. She promptly brought me a menu and water and took my order. As a first-timer, I asked her for suggestions and settled on Tina's sweet and savory chicken and waffles. The maple syrup was hot, the waffle was good, the chicken great, the beef bacon fantastic, but I asked for an over medium egg, and it was closer to over hard. Not a big deal. I ended up having a 10 minute conversation with the waitress at the end of my meal, as she asked me about my work and said she was in college studying in a similar field. It sounds like some staff needs some training, but this young lady was one of the most attentive and pleasant waitresses I've ever met. I'm glad I went and will be back if I'm in Sacramento again.

I ordered cinnamon crunch French toast and smothered chicken thighs…& a mango smoothie , my daughter ordered chicken cheese sandwich and some banana pudding… I spent $54! We get home… my French toast tastes like onions 😫… my chicken tastes like it’s covered in week old gravy, my daughter says her chicken sandwich tastes like fish 😩😩 and we waited close to an hour for our food!!! I’m never going back!!!

Lacks a little in the atmosphere area with decor. Split seating with men’s and women’s restrooms on opposite sides of the restaurant. The staff and the food was amazing!!! The wife and I did the grits, chicken and waffle. The chicken was cooked perfectly and skin was wonderful. (I usually do not eat the skin)

Food was good 👍🏾 was prepared very fast, maybe the chicken was precooked, it was still good tho, the grits was decent but I didn’t get my waffle until a little later after I was done eating the 🍗 the female waitress didn’t even change me

Worst $80 Ive spent in my life. Ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake waffle, and they only gave me a slice of cheesecake? The fried chicken was burnt and dry and hard, the Oreo Waffle had none of the toppings, the cornbread was dry, they gave me greens instead of mac and cheese and the greens were so salty i had to spit them out. The Peach Cobbler was like chewing playdough. How can a restaurant be so terrible and still in business?

I am a regular at this place from almost 5 years now. It was a great place with great food. I had 3 bad experiences all the last 3 times I went there. I would not review because I kinda know the owner but it’s just getting worse. No wonder it stay empty now a days whereas it was always full of people not a long ago. 1. Service: This place hired a new girl a few months ago. I never saw her before. She was very rude with extremely grumpy attitude. I talked about her attitude to the main chef. We had to handle this attitude last 2 out of 3 times. 2. The chicken was burnt and over fried. 3. Fries with the burger were definitely not fresh and were refried for sure. I don’t know whats going on.
