My husband is a disabled/retired Veteran. We have great response for his Mental Health appointments. However, his Primary care is a joke. I have personally attended and Dr. Tito doesn't even care what is in his chart. He will not pursue the issues my husband continually experiences. He needs radiology referrals and someone to actually examine him.. We have put in request to change physicians' I have called and been told the Clinic Supervisor will return my call....NOTHING is being done. My husband is in constant pain and needs medical attention. He had surgery for a torn bicep at Mather with EXCELLENT care and follow up Physical Therapy at McClellan, again EXCELLENT. His primary care needs to be addressed and he should NOT need to see a Dr. that ignores all of his issues that need to be addressed.

I had an appointment with Greg an RN assistant for Dr. TiTo Tanguilig at 10 AM this morning. I received superior medical care from Mather Hospital on Friday 10-20-2017 to have a infected gall bladder removed and respiratory problems. Today was a follow up appointment at my primary care Dr's office. The assistant had misread my chart and thought I was in the hospital for Congestive Heart Failure. He had no idea what I had been treated for and had a very hard time reading and understanding my chart. He finally looked at my incisions to see if they were infected. He didn't weigh me, take my temp or blood pressure. The entire visit was a waste of time. I received excellent medical care from the VA while in the hospital unfortunately it is employees like this that give the VA medical system a bad rep!

Some of the doctors and staff seem to be way over stressed and sometimes rude they're probably dealing with being understaffed which isn't good for the patient nor the medical staff sharp rude un-understanding comments and situations and simple mishaps are easily to be seen or thought about from patience we are all only human no need to be rude accidents can happen wrong medications too much of it not compensating for whatever it may be. The doctor I see does not listen to the patience only has her agenda to book all sorts of appointments at her facility one minute she is pushing community Care the next minute she won't renew my visits also another thing I don't care who in the world is taught however they're taught but nobody knows how anybody else feels but that person!!!!!!! Patients don't seem to realize that they can call the actual White House VA complaint department about their doctors they can also contact kcra3 and other news platforms !!!!!

I have had to deal with this clinic on a few different issues over the past few years and the experience I’ve had over all is simply this don’t expect much from these people they get the job done but from what I can tell their a bunch of Mather rejects that are just going through the motions expect nothing and you won’t be disappointed. As for the lab it’s an absolute joke it’s always hours behind and they simply don’t care. My advise if you can use Mather do so.

The service here is outstanding. I have the option of getting healthcare from many places and I chose to come to McClellan because the providers are excellent. I can contact them online and speak to them from home. They respond very quickly and with care. My doctors are incredibly smart and proficient, but I never feel "talked down" to. They answer my questions and respect my decisions. I'm considered a partner in my own healthcare. This is why I have been going to McClellan for almost 5 years. Most patients I've seen know when we come to McClellan, we're at a military facility and behave accordingly. I've never personally encountered disruptive behavior.

My dad is a Navy Korea Veteran, now suffering with advanced dementia, and I am his caretaker. I am always able to get him in to see his PCP in a reasonably timely manner, and at least a nurse on an urgent basis if needed. I also have had great luck with the pharmacy, able to keep all of his prescriptions filled, even on a last-minute basis if I forget and let one run out, and have gotten hold-over amounts for him until the new scrip arrives. Also, I learned on a visit to Korrect Optical to get his new glasses that you do not have to be a veteran to use the dispensary. With this knowledge, I was able to order glasses for myself (a non-vet civilian) at a reduced cost, as compared to outside dispensaries.

First time visited this VA clinic today and first impression to this place and staffs were great. As I walked up to the entrance, they guided me through where I supposed to go or see for my appointment. The primary care assistant (assuming a Nurse) noticed that this was my first time visiting so she walked me through from A to Z instead just telling where to go. I really appreciated all the staffs with hard work during this sensitive time.

I have actually had nothing but great results from both The McClellan & Mather Staff. I had always heard about how poor VA Health Care is; well, It's been a plus for me. I give 5 stars for the help they've given me. Thank folks...

Well run clinic. I had an eye exam and they were great.

My Lord that is all I have to say I had to leave three messages with the doctor about one issue and two messages about another issue never got back to me and I'm still suffering from the two issues after bringing it up finally received a call 6 weeks after my first message and still got nowhere thanks for nothing especially for fighting for this country and its citizens !

The staff I deal with here are really good but the PCP I have is just not what he used to be, don't know what happened but he is not right. won't mention no names but he knows who he is. everyone else I deal with is always kind and polite. thanks to the bronze team except for one Doctor. maybe case load is to heavy for him.

My fiance is a veteran whose PCP is at McClellan Outpatient Clinic. He is always treated with respect and promptness.

I just gotten my covid and flu shot 10/08/2022 Saturday. The staff were very helpful and always attentive in keeping the flow fast and smooth.

The VA is the finest healthcare system in the world according to my not so humble estimation! I find that they provide excellent care in every area. They focus on natural cures with me because that's what I like. I get physical therapy I get acupuncture I get Chiropractic. I do not get those at McClellan only the physical therapy! It is awesome it is a treatment that I have the ability to depend on because it works. Everything they do there has worked for me the kindness of the receptionist the effectiveness they have in doing their job the therapist the person who is the head of the department who does like a triage with you Matt all of them fantastic no issues of any kind with the VA in any area

I called the dental here over 100 times. They only answered once. When they picked up the phone. They just hung up on me so they don’t have to work. Bad dental office. You will never get through. You will never get a call back. Bad VA. Bad dental office. Fire who ever runs the dental clinic.
