One of the best IPA I had in Sacramento so far very friendly place, pets and any body who want to have a good conversation or good games. Very good to have a relaxing moment in Sacramento.

I am a huge fan of King Cong beers. Everytime I see a new brew I pick it up, since there's a high chance I'm going to love it. That is why I was excited to visit their brewery. Looking at the location on Google Maps, I could tell it wasn't in the best area of Sacramento. It was disheartening to see the brewery wasn't as I imagined. It was messy and looked thrown together. It appears King Cong brewery puts more consideration into their beer than they do their brewery. Although, I enjoyed the beer, it's not a place I'd want to linger long. It would not be a great date spot, because of the location. It's a sketchy area and I wouldn't want to wander far from the brewery. My suggestion is: put your brewery supplies in the back and not where the customers can see them, add comfortable seating, provide games to encourage customers to stay longer and create a more inviting patio area. Great place to grab some great beers and some food. Good selection on tap and a variety to choose from. Pizza was a perfect add to having some beers. Would definitely recommend stopping by and experiencing the atmosphere.

Food was decent could use a little more seasoning. Wait time on the Tuesday night for food could be better. We watched them bring out other people's food that ordered after us and was the same thing. Outdoor seating area was nice.

Ran into these guys at the Raley Field Brewfest so I decided to check it out. The told us they served food and were kid friendly so we put them to the test. The back patio is pretty awesome. A lot of space and very kid friendly. We got cheese bread and it was solid. The beer was good. I'd rate it a 7-8 of 10. It was good but didnt completely blow me away. The owners and employees were great! Super friendly and talked to us for a while. Walked us through tasters of their selection. Overall its worth a stop. A bit far for me to make it a regular thing but very glad I stopped by.

I'm reminded of Jerry Seinfeld's NO SOUP FOR YOU Episode. Today= 8/11/23 A man and a woman tending bar, The man took our beer orders as well as food. 1/2 order of Nachos....? How long can chips with melted cheese take? We are now on our second beer and the woman who has NO Personality can't figure out what I am drinking based on the brown colored beer left in my glass. We kept asking where are Nachos are after 20+ min. He chose to give us are card back and collect the beers that we did not finish. NO SOUP FOR YOU! I drink beer everyday but I don't think I will drink beer here any day soon. I wonder how the owner would feel sending Two paying customers packing with no reason to return over a plate of Nachos that never came, without as much as an apology. Just gave me my credit card back. And the girl bartender has No business being behind a bar selling drinks and food with her "look at me with cut shorts" Attitude. Long legs don't keep customers coming back. Service does.

Awesome Sacramento brewery-awesome in a town full of great breweries. Cheers to Sacramento! This was our 2nd stop on a Saturday evening. Loved that they have in house food here. We tried a chicken pizza-we devoured a chicken pizza-it was so yummy! Great beers too! Love the decor and vibe, seating, clean bathrooms. A must stop on your Sac/Nor cal brewery tour. Open a taproom in Fresno, yes? :)

Great place. Good food, decent drafts. We got the Asian salad and the tri-tip sandwich. I ordered a dark, chocolate oatmeal stout. My friend got a citrus pilsner. Both had nice flavor, memorable and clean tasting. I left with a growler full.

Great beer and shockingly good food (those collard greens)! I've lived in the area off and on for 10 years and I am so glad there is a place like this here. I will definitely be coming back!

I usually dislike craft beer. But I'll tell you, King Cong has some great tasting beer selections and the food is KILLER. They have SUPER-good pizzas and other smaller plates, and the atmosphere and outdoor seating area is great for a hot summer afternoon. The staff are also friendly, the owners really care about and are involved with the local community, and they also have live entertainment some evenings. I really like this place to just kick back and have some good food and a few drinks with friends.

I visited King Cong Brewery during the pandemic and covid restrictions. The first thing that stuck out to me and half the reason I am making this review a year later is because of the beautiful art that surrounds the brewery and the carefully canned vessels of Cong's special brews! The beautiful and majestic gorillas that adorn the aluminum casks of the Golden ales really sell this product to the eye and the taste will send your tongue to beer lover's heaven! Even their double IPAs are smooth enough to fool you into drinking multiples! Can't wait to make a trip back in the current less restrictive times!

Great food, great beer, and great customer service. They've really stepped up their game. 🙌🍻 Came to have a beer with my sister. Although they don't have a hazy on tap, their Orangutan IPA is a good substitute. They have a human sized tictac toe game, good tunes, good food selection, (although we didn't eat so I can't speak on the food quality), and attentive staff. Cheers! 🍻

Been here a couple of times now. The beer is good and the food is pretty good too. I love that they host events every now and then. I went on a trivia night previously and it was fun!

Love this place! Husband owns the gym, Tortoise Shell Boxing up the Blvd and we feel the love each and every time we go have a beer and food. Always warm welcome and the best beer in Sacramento. Can't get enough of being able to take 4 packs with us too!

Good beers and good homemade food! The cheesy garlic bread was great! We were chatting with a couple people who work there - very friendly and affable. I've got to go back so I can try this one beer I wasn't able to try last time.

Great place to have some delicious craft beer and get some food .. the nachos are delicious, we added carnitas to them omg!! And their beer battered cheese ooh man you won't regret it! The beer is also so good ! I had the El Capicong soo delicious!! Stop by if your in the area you'll want to come by again !!!
