Stopped by on the way through the area based on good online reviews. Those reviews were right! It was fantastic. Had the schwarma plate, gyros, hummus and baklava. Service was great. Price reasonable. Great experience! Thanks so much!

What a hidden gem located in Gallup,NM. We love Mediterranean food and we saw this was highly rated. Waitstaff was very nice and friendly. The establishment was very clean and bathrooms as well. We will definitely be back if we come to this area again.

One of the best Mediterranean food in that area in Albuquerque. Their falafel 🧆 is so yum! It has the Crunch but isn't dry inside.. their pita and hummus is pretty good too..🥙 The vegetarian plate has it all! They have a ton of beautiful Mediterranean food and goods to sell in the restaurant!

We had to spend the night in Gallup and I wasn't sure where we were going to eat that wasn't fast food. We found this place on Yelp and it sounded really good. It absolutely did not disappoint. The food was delicious, fresh, and obviously made with pride. The Palestinian owner was very hands on. The staff was very kind and patient, even when the people behind us left a huge mess. We enjoyed everything we ate, and even saved room for dessert. The baklava was good but there was another dessert that was amazing. I've never had it before and I don't remember the name, but it is cheese wrapped pastry that they warm up. It is melt in your mouth delicious!

Oh my gawd, I am so disappointed that it has taken me 18 months of living in Gallup to discover this place. I have so-missed middle eastern cuisine. This place definitely hit the spot with the Shawarma and the Combination Plate, and I am definitely going to visit again! Do yourself a favor and try them out!

An absolute must stop! The food was so refreshing and delicious. Probably the best Mediterranean food I have had for a long, long time. If we lived closer this would be a regular spot for us. The meat was tender and full of flavor! Absolutely everything was fantastic. I wish we had bought more so we would have leftovers!

Very delicious food! We stopped here on our road trip down route 66. We wanted to try something different and since we weren't in a hurry we decided to adventure a little out of our comfort zone. It was SO worth it!! The staff is very friendly and explained the differences about their menu items. We were very pleased with our selection. We also had dessert and it was perfect!!

Right off Highway 40 in Gallop is this gem of a place. After reading the other reviews, I knew we stumbled upon something good. Clean, friendly, menu variety, fresh, priced right. The lentil soup was very tasty as were the taboule and chicken schwarma special. My stomach is very happy!

Surprising discovery in Gallup junction. After a long morning on the road and the hope to travel additional miles in the afternoon, this place appeared as a magical apparition on our way: never expected to find so tasteful mediterranean food in the middle of the desert. Let's start from the rice, you just nailed it: perfumed and tasty and it is great on its own already! Babaganoush (not sure about the spelling there) is one of a kind and the lamb Kabob is a reconciliation of all senses. Even though this place looks like a regular diner, there is a lot of research and knowledge behind the scene and you are lucky if you get to it. Also have a pistachio bakhlava. Just have it.

One of the best Mediterranean foods we've had in a while. Everything from the service to getting the food on time, all was perfect. Loved every bite!

Decent Mediterranean cuisine and ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. It had pretty good seasoning and the fries were decent. My only wish is that I wish there was taum but the baba ganoush was good with my shawarma.

I travel to the Middle East a lot and have grown to love the food. It's really hard to find good authentic food, and to find it in small Gallup New Mexicr was shocking. The food was so good, I'll travel from Atlanta to Gallup just to eat here again.

Passing through Gallup we found this wonderful gem! Service was great, and the food was yummy! I had the special which was a chicken shawarma with fries. The fries were regular fries but the shawarma did not disappoint!

Fantastic food and service!!! Hard to believe in Gallup, NM but probably the best Shamarma I have ever had. The turkish coffee and hummus were fantastic too. The only downfall is that I don’t live here but will definitely add as a must stop when passing through next time.

Wonderful change up from hamburger, Chinese food or Mexican food. I was looking for a place to eat on my birthday and I happened to find this place and wanted to try. I'm so happy I did. My mom and I tried the combination plate: beef kabob, chicken kabob, and kaftan. The beef and chicken kabob are amazing the flavors-so yummy I wanted to stuff more in my mouth. We didn't like the kaftan its ground beef, but was dry. Than I had tabouli salad. Kind of salty, but as you chew more of the parsley(my favorite) it is refreshing! I added cucumber to it. I ordered the falafel sandwich, the pita bread is amazing; fluffy & chewy! I would order another falafel, I wanted more of the yogurt sauce. Than for dessert baklava - pistachio. Very good, not overly sweet at all, just right. They have a lot of boxed pastry desserts at the counter when you order. I definitely will go back, want to try the eggplant appetizer. Also I ordered Turkish coffee - that is my #1 favorite. I would order one cup every morning, if I could. I love strong coffee! You got to try this place!

Lamb kebabs best I have ever eaten perfectly seasoned. Chicken shawarma excellent, falafel And hummus so fresh and the pita bread like biting into a pillow! Tried the Turkish coffee, so flavorful. We did take bakery to go and can't wait to try. Very friendly and clean.

Highly recommend this tasty Mediterranean. What a gem to find amongst so many chain fast food restaurants. I got the vegetarian plate with falafel and my boyfriend got the chicken shawarma. The mixed baklava is delicious. The staff is really sweet and attentive. If we lived locally we would be eating here often

If I could give it more stars I would. I'm in town on business and found this place to be close to my hotel. I got it to go; the young lady who helped me was sooo kind. She suggested the chicken kabob, then Upsold me on dessert- the pistachio baklava. I saw her bringing out a hot tea to someone while I was waiting and she said it was really good then made me a little sample! Exemplary customer service. The food smelled so good in the car on the drive home. I took it back to my hotel room and dug in and when I say that chicken melted into my mouth! It was an explosion of flavors. I seriously was in heaven. This is the best Mediterranean meal I've had from gallup to Santa Fe. I was so satisfied with my meal that I forgot about the dessert!! It wasn't until a couple hours later when I was hoping for a sweet lil night cap that I was surprised and delighted to remember that baklava. Another explosion of flavor, good to every last crumb. This meal was the best I've had in a long time and I'm so pleased I tried it. I wasn't excited to come to Gallup on business, but this makes me excited to come back!!

The lamb and rice was cooked nicely - I also enjoyed their grilled tomato and onions on the side a lot. The Turkish coffee was a shocker, very light to taste but also heavily herby... Definitely a great stopping point to grab some food on the go especially for long distance travelers.

At a new location since October ‘22 don’t let the mall parking lot restaurant vibe fool you This Is Still The Same Place! The food is to die for good and home made. Much to our surprise, they have an adjacent dog friendly covered patio! We love it!

The best Mediterranean I’ve had in a long time. Pictures is the vegetarian platter. All the staff were friendly, and the prices seemed fair to lower than I would expect. Not too many tables inside, but I would go out of my way to stop here again.

Chose this place bc of reviews. Eating low carb keto on the road is a challenge so when I saw all the delicious meat and veggies my decision was made. We were not disappointed. Service was quick and friendly. We both had the combo, chicken, steak and a spiced ground beef roll (?). Meat was perfectly spiced, grilled and moist. The vibe was relaxing. Highly recommend. It looks like and old A&W from the outside.

Was visiting a friend who lives in Gallup and she kept mentioning how delicious the Mediterranean food was at Oasis. We went with a group of 4 and everyone ordered something different. And everyone was very happy with their food. I ordered the Baba Ghanouj and the Oasis Salad. There was so much food I brought it home and had a full lunch the following day. Everything was fresh and delicious. I am glad we ate there!

Gallup is a small town with some good places to eat. New Mexican restaurants abound. Oasis isn't one of them. It's unique and offers middle-eastern dishes and desserts that will have you salivating before they get to the table. Owner Shadi is a gregarious host and the wait staff are attentive and unobtrusive. They also have a sampling of candies that many haven't been fortunate enough to see and try. My bias comes from having lived in several countries across the middle east. Oasis is aptly named. Stop in and try something different.

This place is aptly named sitting out here in Gallup, NM. Lovely vegetarian options, good portions, delicious and fresh. Friendly and pleasant people providing great service! My first pita bread was not warm and I thought that was the only thing I could wish for this meal to be fantastic. I didn't say anything and then my next pita was warm and I was in heaven! I asked if they had any spicy chutney. They didn't but had a Middle Eastern hot sauce. It was perfect with the hummus and baba ganush. I was just traveling through looking for veggies and will come back again if I'm traveling this way.
